I took my family of 6 to dinner on a Thursday evening. Because we were a party of 6, I called ahead for a reservation. I was told "no problem." We arrived less than 5 minutes after our reservation time as we ran into some traffic. Most restaurants have a 10-15 minute grace period. The host acted like he had no idea we had a reservation. Then another employee came over and pointed out my name that had been crossed out! We were told we'd then have a 15 minute wait, which turned into 30. I was just ready to take my group and leave when we were called to our table. The best thing I can say about this place was that our server was great. Sadly, I didn't get her name. I ordered the linguine and clams. The linguine was overcooked to the point of mushy, and the clams crunched like they had sand in them. In looking around our table I noticed that most of the pasta dishes were swimming in sauce. I told the server about the problems with my dish and she offered to bring something else. I chose beef ravioli. I love salt in my food, but I was unable to eat the ravioli due to the high level of salt. To make sure I wasn't being over sensitive, I asked my adult granddaughter to try one and she agreed it was super salty. My daughter said her chicken parmesan was "ok" but was very sweet. My other adult granddaughter said her pasta dish tasted like it had a lot of sherry in it. Because about half of my party liked their food, I gave it three stars, but would not likely go again. read more

Ambiance is great, service good but it was a busy night and working a lot of tables so took them longer than normal to refill drinks and second round. Some of the pasta dishes my guests (live in Italy) had looked fine, good portions but they were not too impressed with the taste profile, especially the tomato sauce. I ordered one of the pizzas. Limited choices and the one we wanted that we saw on Yelp was not available. We detest sausage on a pizza so that narrowed the choices. Can't believe they don't offer a white pizza!! I need to give a huge shout out to Tresino's! I was looking for a restaurant to host an employee appreciation lunch and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! They opened specifically for us (they are normally closed until 4pm on Thursdays) and we're very accommodating. As good as all the food was, and it was delicious, the service was even better! One of my top Italian places to visit when I'm in the area. It would be better for me if I wasn't vegan. They allow substitutions but still costly. For example if you want to order shrimp pasta but only want mushrooms instead of shrimp, they'll still charge you for the price of the shrimp dish. So if you like the sauce on the shrimp dish, that's what you have to go with and pay more for it. My coworker once ordered the Alfredo pasta and it looked and smelled so amazing. I just stood over him and inhaled the amazing smell of his dish. Lol I like their seasonal specials such as the pumpkin ravioli. The service is hit or miss depending who you get. I like that the owner still comes around to see how everyone is doing. Cute ambiance. Cute for date night to enjoy some wine and pasta. Booths have pillows. My first time at this place but definitely won't be last. They have a variety of food items there. If you ask them for the garlic bread they will bring it to you. I had their pollo with veggies and it was a really big potion with vegetables. Their service was great. Didn't have any wait, were seated within few minutes after arriving. I live close by and have been here a few times with my family. The food tastes homemade. Service is excellent and the ambience is cozy and has a mom and pop feel. Last visit started with a calamari appetizer, which was excellent and ordered a salad to share. My pasta was on the monthly special, but I hope they bring it to the regular menu. Today I ordered takeout, the chicken piccata and kids Alfredo pasta. The food was so bland I had to add salt, garlic, and red pepper. I understand the kids meal being a little more simple but my Chicken piccata was just as bland if not more. Next we specified when we placed our food order for red pepper and Parmesan which we did not get. To add on, they didn't give us the kids meal drink it's supposed to come with. Wow!! It doesn't get any better!! This place definitely has the warm neighborhood feel that draws you back just on that account. I have to admit, that we were very slow ordering as my lady friend and I were catching up after being apart for a while and didn't even look at the menu. When we finally forced ourselves to stop talking and peruse the menu, everything sounded excellent and everything we ordered was exquisite. I may be a redneck, but I know excellent Italian when I taste it!! The service was excellent and I don't think I've ever recalled having a server come by that often and check with us! Man, I really don't understand the high rating here. We love Italian food and have tried many places through the years. This was the absolute worst Italian food we've ever had. I can't comment on customer service, because we got it to go. If we hadn't been leaving town the following day we would have brought the food back to them. We got chicken parm, eggplant parm, fettuccine alfredo with artichoke and salad. The salad was old and actually smelled old and like they hadn't washed it, So nasty, it went straight into the trash. The chicken parm was passable but no better than cafeteria food. The big issues were the UNCOOKED eggplant and the CHOKE. They must have fried the eggplant for less than a minute, it was RAW. Inedible. The worst was when I took a big bite of pasta and artichoke and I had swallowed before realizing they had NOT REMOVED THE CHOKE from the piece of artichoke! I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE! I couldn't get it up or down, it was literally choking me to death! I chalked it up to human error, an oversight...and once I gained my composure began eating again. It happened AGAIN! Are you freaking kidding me!!?? What restaurant doesn't make sure they have removed the CHOKE from the artichoke pieces they mix in with a dish!!???? What more do I need to say? Not if this was the last place on earth to eat would we return. read more

Walked in on Saturday night around 6pm and opted to sit at the bar (2 people) , as it also offers a full dining experience (as described by the hostess). I did not get the bartenders name, but she was awesome. I ended up going with the house Chardonnay and it was decent. We ordered the bruschetta appetizer-amazing, lasagna with meatballs-amazing, and some type of mushroom pasta-amazing. Unfortunately, we were so full, we couldn't order dessert! my wife and I celebrated my 81st. birthday at tresinos we got there early on a monday the restarunt was not crowded at all we were seated immediatly. Our server was very intuitive and helped up with our selections. I orderded a Vodka Martini witch was perfect however the olives hadn"t been put out at the bar yet but our waitress took care of that post haste. I odered the risotto mare monte and I must say this was the most delicious meal I have ever had. The staff here always allows special requests. I'll start by saying I love getting Tresinos food. I've been eating here for years. We just ordered food (I live 5 mins away) and picked it up. We had to wait for the order for a few minutes because it wasn't ready and yes, it was fresh and hot when we got home 5 mins later. Our daughter ordered the Penne Sonata which has a pesto cream sauce.. This sauce separated so bad that half the dish was just oil. I cook, and know that a cream sauce is not going to seperate within 5 mins of getting the order. The dish is not cheap and this would make anyone sick trying to eat it.
