Whenever we're hungry from walking around Town Center, my mom and I always stop by True Food Kitchen. Typically we'll share a pizza (our favorite is the mushroom with fontina cheese or the chicken sausage). The crust is delicious and I'm the type of person to leave the crust on the plate but I'll eat the entire slice here. I've been here enough times to try a few of their drinks on offer, like the cinnamon vanilla latte and adaptogenic tulsi tea. My favorites that I've tried are the mushroom pizza (love wild mushrooms) and the tulsi tea. Service was attentive and friendly--we were able to get a sample of a couple of the specialty lemon/limeades before committing to one, so we loved that! The watermelon one was so refreshing but they were truly all delicious!! I ordered the lasagna, even though I'm not typically a big lasagna person, but the photos I saw of it looked good... IT.WAS.SO.GOOD!! The flavor was delicious and ingredients tasted incredibly fresh! Seriously recommend ordering that if you're interested in a clean-ingredient comfort food dish! Really enjoyed our dining experience at True Food. Came to Boca Mall for a quick trip to pick something up and initially planned to grab a bite to eat at the food court. However, the food court didn't provide many good options so we came to True Food Kitchen after looking at their menu and we are so glad we did! The restaurant is huge with a ton of seating, great lighting, outdoor seating is also available, and overall the restaurant had an aesthetically pleasing design. The service there is wonderful from the hosts, servers, and everyone else we engaged with, they were all extremely pleasant. We dined in this past Sunday afternoon and sat outside - I wish we got our waiter's name as he was seriously the kindest! He was African American, and wore a nice belt (that's the only way I can describe him) but shout out to HIM as he really topped our overall experience. It really is great service that will keep guests coming back! We couldn't stop talking about how lovely he was throughout the entire meal. The restaurant has an extensive menu with so many options to choose from! I couldn't decide between 5 different dishes so trust me, there is definitely something for everyone whether you have allergies, don't eat meat, are gluten-free, etc. We ordered some drip coffee which was tasty and very hot - just the way I like it! We love True Food! We've been away all summer so decided to get a Margarita pizza and our favorite Chopped Salad to go last night. The salad was excellent. But what happened to the pizza? The crust was flat, dense, tasteless and had a different sauce on it. Also, it seemed they've changed the cheese on it. So disappointing! It used to be a favorite. On arrival we were sat promptly by a warm friendly hostess. I ordered Teriyaki Quinoa Bowl and my wife had Spicy Panang Curry. My Bowl was hardly warm on arrival (not hot), the veggies were tough, and the avocado was rock hard. "Odd" would be best way to describe the taste of the Curry. Not good. The only issues we had were dealing with the host stand and the speed of service. When we first arrived we went to the host stand to put in our name. The host said "We are only accepting reservations today." My husband and I went online to Open Table and reserved a table for 2 within minutes. The service was really slow for the amount of people in the restaurant. We felt as though we had to keep flagging our server down for little things like refills. True food kitchen prides themselves in offering tasty healthy option meals that offer anti inflammatory benefits and won't weigh you down but will leave you satisfied. The restaurant is located in Boca Town Center mall but you enter from the exterior and not from inside the mall. I met a friend for lunch and this was a convenient option since we can find plenty of onsite parking and hop over to mall for shopping. As for the food, I ordered the turkey burger and boy was it full of flavor! The turkey was not dry at all! ITT was pretty juicy and tender. The bread was golden toasted and lined with a flavorful spread that complimented the turkey patty extremely well! The kale salad was amazingly delicious. It is served with a lemon herb vinaigrette and I especially liked how each kale leaf was coated with the dressing. I can't wait to go back and try more deliciousness! True Foods is about as true of a concept as you can find out there these days. I've now been to one in LA and one in South Florida, and both experiences were nearly identical. Walking through the door you're greeted by an almost literal breath of fresh air. The space is open, airy, it feels naturally lit, and they do a great job of bringing the freshness of the outdoors into each of their locations with live plants and displays of fresh food. Staff is SUPER knowledgable about the menu and are prepared to make educated suggestions to help you hone in on what you really want AND suggestively upselling without it really even being noticed. Kudos TFK! The food is fresh, healthy, organic goodness you'd expect, but dialed up with international influences, which I appreciate so much. It's a very diverse menu and a lot of it is quite shareable. But with all the praise, why not 5 stars? Well, while the dishes are influenced and inspired by global flavors, in some cases I felt they lacked the punch I typically associate with the namesake disheds OR in others, the flavors just sounded better on paper than what they delivered on the plate. All that said, TFK is a home run of a dining experience, and anyone who favors food and restaurants that share a similar ethos with TFK will leave EXORBITANTLY happy. read more

First of all, the server began by giving my friend the wrong drink, but she kept it because it was good. Then, we ordered appetizers and I ordered the hummus and asked for no olives, when I received the plate, it had olives, I immediately sent it back. Lastly, I ordered the Korean noodle bowl. Since I was afraid she would mess it up, I told her I am allergic to mushrooms and to make sure they are not in the bowl. Thankfully they weren't! My friend is very allergic to dairy, when she asked the waitress if there was cheese in the shrimp tacos, she said she had no idea. I think that the staff should be trained on the menu better. Sweet potato hash was freezing cold, one of the entrees came missing the protein. Another try today at True Food left me most pleasantly surprised! After being seated at the counter by a sweet and gracious hostess, I was greeted by two of the wait staff. I think one got tired of waiting after seeing me taking photos. The kind and knowledgeable waiter,a young man, offered an abundance of information to assist me in speeding up my order. As I listed diet restrictions, he patiently gave me his accommodating suggestions. This made the ordering process so much easier. I chose the Cauliflower Polenta Bowl. We omitted a couple of items and added chicken. Layered on top of delicious polenta, sat a variety of colorful veggies, topped with soft and juicy chicken. The waiter brought additional squash On previous visits it was quite frustrating trying to find an enjoyable dish with just the right ingredients to fit my restrictions. The waiters explanations made a big difference. So Yelpers- know that this CAN be done at True Foods where you can get a healthy and enjoyable meal, Vegan or Organic, and alter your order if medically necessary. My wife and I were excited to see that there was a True Food kitchen in the mall in Boca Raton. We had such a good experience at their location in the square in West Palm Beach unfortunately this location is not even close. My wife and I both ordered the chicken ranch wrap. I had ordered this wrap in West Palm Beach and was extremely impressed with it and I shared some of it with my wife that dinner, we were hoping for the same wrap we so much enjoyed. The wrap itself was overcooked which dried the pita out. The chicken was large chunks of chicken cut with the grain making it very chewy and stringy. (The chicken in West Palm Beach was sliced thin and very tender) The chicken was dry as well, in fact, the whole sandwich was dry at this point there was not enough ranch sauce on the greens very little avocado and I can go on. Our waitress did not come over to check on us during our meal. To top it off, the two hostesses at the front door did not even acknowledge us as we were leaving. When you run out of places to eat in Boca you start going to restaurants which advertise themselves as healthy ones. True Food Kitchen is one of those places. I think it might be the Whole Foods of restaurants. Built in the location of Stir Crazy in the Boca town center, true food is the opposite of every restaurant you can imagine. The restaurant decor remind me of IKEA furniture with the green color a dominant theme to show the green food they deliver. We ordered two appetizers along with two entrees and food was fresh and tasty specially the grilled fish tacos which were awesome. The service was excellent across the board and you could tell that the manager was paying attention to all the tables to make sure that customers were satisfied with their meals. 5 star restaurant wish stir crazy was still around but this will do for now. read more
