One of my fav places at Easton. Beautiful space, open kitchen, not too loud, fabulous patio. Food is also really great - try the grass fed burger with the kale salad! We also ran in last minute for Easter brunch and it was so lovely - a little photo wall and SURPRISE! the bunny made an appearance! No issues with the prices at all but after paying the waiter (Gary) returned and complained about receiving a 10% tip. That was totally uncalled for and super unprofessional. If you love super healthy food, I'd say this is a decent place for you to go. Personally, just not my favorite type of food, also a little pricey. The customer service was cool. I came here back to back on my birthday weekend and loved both times! Newly vegan, I've been looking for great places to meat my dietary needs and True Food hits the spot. Vegan or not, they have amazing dishes for everyone! The double vegan cheeseburger is to live for! The sweet potatoes on the side are the bomb! The vegan squash pie is incredible! I wanted my entree reheated and the lovely waitress took care of it with no problem. The pleasant surprise was the thoughtful manager coming over to apologize for the issue and to make sure everything else was ok. Yeah, just OK. I really wasnt impressed with this place. The hubby and I had reservations here to try something new. It was on a cold night when we were there and we sat at the table just inside the door and it was FREEZING!! The door opened and closed so many times, even the people beside us kept talking about how cold it was there too. The waiter we had (I dont remember his name) seemed to be in a hurry for us to order. I get it was a busy night, but still. The food was ok and I really wasnt impressed. It was overpriced too. This was my first time being there, and probably my last. While in the Columbus, Ohio area for an event, I went to do some shopping in the Easton Town Center. I'm not a national big chain restaurant follower but True Food Kitchen was recommended by a local friend so it beat out the plethora of other enticing nearby restaurants. They do take reservations if you have a time preference but thankfully on this Sunday evening, a table on the shaded patio was available for a walk-in. My server and all the staff encountered (host, food runner, plates clearer) were terrific! See photo about the story of the restaurant so if you want soda pop to drink then this isn't the right fit eatery for you. The prices are on the higher side of the scale for common dishes but your fish will be of the sustainable sort. Their menu changes with the season so we ordered the seasonal Butternut squash pizza off the Fall/Winter menu as an appetizer. With its thin crust, it was a light yet filling on a hot late summer evening. The table has a QR code to easily pay contactlessly. We came here because of all the great reviews and we were so excited to try this restaurant. Our service was amazing all night by the way. My friend had a chicken curry bowl and he liked it . Flavorful and hot. I ordered the chicken noodle bone broth soup. Great flavor but, cold and hardly any chicken. Then I had the chicken sausage pizza. Honestly, I've had better frozen pizzas. This was definitely a refreshing new find. I loved the atmosphere and the food was really delicious. I got the edamame dumplings and the grass fed burger. My only complaint was that the food didn't come out very hot - mainly luke warm but they were pretty busy so we didn't bother sending anything back or complaining. I've been gluten free for about 3 years, the amount of restaurants that have gf options has grown so much! True Food Kitchen has something for everyone! Plus so many gluten feee options, I love that their menu lets you know what is gf, vegan, etc. my son (10) chose the Spinach & Mushroom pizza and he loved it! Had I wanted pizza, all of their options could be ordered with gluten free crust! I went with the delicious Korean Noodle Bowl with sweet potato glass noodles. For dessert I chose the Avocado Key Lime pie, the flavor was so different from a normal key lime pie, so if your expecting that tartness, this won't give you that...it's tart but has a sweetness too it also. I've been here twice and True Food is already becoming a go-to spot for me in Columbus. I went at the beginning of month with some friends, then brought family back just two weeks later because I knew they'd love it to. This place is amazing especially because they cater to vegans, vegetarians, gluten-free, and omnivores alike. Everything on the menu sounds/looks so great, it's hard to choose what to order! My first time around I had the butternut squash pizza which was incredible, second time I had the spaghetti squash casserole, which wasn't quite as good but I also couldn't expect it to live up to the pizza. I've eaten at True Food Kitchen in Arizona, California and Chicago previously and have had consistently great experiences. The menu varies with the seasons, but if you're lucky enough to find yourself there when the Charred Cauliflower is on the menu, get it! It's so good, you'll think about it long after your visit. Another favorite is the fall Seasonal Salad. The Horseradish Dressing is a surprise and delight. This place has something for everyone - including those who are vegan, gluten-free or have food allergies. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the menu, ingredients and allergens, so as someone with food allergies, I trust this place! read more

This is our "go to" spot in Columbus! I fell in love with True Foods when I lived in downtown Chicago, and although they don't have all of the same menu items, the Columbus location is tastyyyyyy. I've been a loyal lover. I value the healthy menu options, and they are also willing to whip something up for my toddler (usually an impressive coconut whipped cream fruit bowl). Their brunch is spot on and the dinner/lunch options are consistently delicious. PLUS they have hand santi everywhere, servers wear their masks properly (THANK YOU) and a huge outdoor patio with doors open (it's enclosed). We feel safe eating there which is a big plus for us. You can also get it delivered if you're feeling weird about dining in. Service is a bit meh at this location, sometimes it's great, other times it is not. But considering restaurants are often short-staffed, I don't hold it against them. There could also be some improvement with their drink menu... but those two things do not deter us. read more
