I had a delightful time at True Food Kitchen. The inside was huge and a nice vibe, and our server was lovely. Got the OG refresher juice and was obsessed with it. Want another real bad. Also had the two vegan pizzas, seasonal squash and spinach mushroom. The crust was fierce and they were both unique and tasty, but I could have gone for a nice drizzle of hot sauce on top, or maybe a touch of salt. I'd get either of them again though. I visited this restaurant with co-workers and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food served here. I visited the restaurant years ago in another city and forgot how delicious it is. The service was great as well and very welcoming from the time we walked in. I ordered the SZA Caesar and added salmon. It was very tasty and left me leaving the restaurant feeling healthy and not weighed down. I even like that they have deals listed on the menu which makes me want to return and try. The ambiance is casual and light. Definitely worth trying if you want a healthy high quality option in the area. read more

Have had good lunch experiences. Recently tried to have dinner there arrived 1.5 hours before closing) and it was a complete fail. Everyone nice but not up to the job. They took our number to wait, we were never called, and then host was surprised when we asked about it. 15 min later. He then seated us near several occupied tables but the server waited other tables and never even made eye contact with us. After ten minutes of waiting , we handed back our menus to that same server, who was apologetic, and said we were leaving. We went to another restaurant. While there and about to start eating, I got a phone call from TF telling us there was a table ready! This was about 45 minutes after our initial arrival. Like I said, everyone polite when we interacted with them, but just completely disorganized that night. read more

So happy there's another place we can eat with the in-laws. What's special here is they're not only focused on delicious tasting foods for omnivores, herbivores and everyone in between, BUT they really about about the quality of the ingredients they use and how it's sourced. You'll see stuff here that you won't see at typical sit down restaurants like avocado oil, sweet potatoes, quinoa, pistachio pesto, and sourdough. You're eating the rainbow when you come here, which is ideally how we all should be eating for optimal nutrition. The butternut squash soup was delicious! And dairy free! The two picky eaters in our party got the ancient grain bowl with chicken and loved it. This is a big win since they're notorious for sending food back at places we've been to. One said she gets this bowl all the time and it's always consistently good. We also got the butternut squash pizza. It had no cheese whatsoever and was AMAZING. So good we ordered a few more to take home. And yes, it was just as good the next day. We're all looking forward to coming back and trying other items. read more

We picked this place for my daughter's first Birthday and it was great. That wasn't even the best part, we got the best server in the entire World , JOEY! Big shout out to him. I've been to true foods a couple of times and always forget to write a review, but I enjoy the food here. I usually come after SoulCycle. I come every other month or so because I like to try their seasonal stuff and I also like their drinks Today I came in around 11-11:30 and had a coconut foam cold brew very delicious. Also love the kale aid. I ordered the tofu scramble today and it was different from what I expected. I probably wouldn't get it again, but it wasn't bad. I asked for chili crunch hot sauce to go with it bc it was sortof bland. My friend really liked it though.. The steak burrito was cooked perfectly slight pink in the middle, the salsa with it was the right touch. The didn't care for the potatoes that came with it, but paired it with a salmon toast, and that was a nice pair. I like how big the restaurant is and its ambiance. Thank you to the bartender who took care of us. She was making the restaurants drinks, serving and was very sweet. read more

First time trying Trie Food Kitchen. Sat in the bar area. Drinks and food was amazing.

Came here on a Sunday night around 7pm. There was no wait and we were promptly greeted and sat by the host, however, we left after 10 minutes because we were not greeted or acknowledged by any service staff, despite there being multiple different servers tending to tables near us. A busser was resetting tables around us, and even though we made eye contact with them, they failed to notice that our table did not have silverware -- if the table was never ready, why were we sat there? What's more concerning however, is that we observed a server "abandon" a service tray with multiple glasses of water on it by leaving it at an unoccupied table near us and never coming back to deliver them to a table. This is extremely concerning from a consumer safety standpoint because the waters were left unattended for at least 3 minutes before we had left, and could have become contaminated without the server or guests knowledge. Ultimately, due to the combination of training issues for steps of service and food safety, I have to leave a 1 star review. read more

Sad to say yesterday will be our last visit. Been going there for years & both the food quality & service have gotten worse over time. Went for Mother's Day with a reservation. Host & hostess did not even look at us when we walked up. Just left to us to stand there while they talked amongst themselves. Then they left to seat others without saying a word. Service was slow; not the server's fault. Turkey burger was bland & came with a vegetable we asked them not to put on it. Accompanying salad had zero dressing. Market Scramble was ok but added avocado for $4 & it was literally 1/4 of an avocado. Had to ask for salt & pepper. We sat for a while waiting for the check before someone who seemed to be a manager came & asked if we needed anything. We asked him for the check & a to-go cup for the Prickly Pear Tisane & he came back with a cup but no straw. When the server finally came with the check, she brought us two coupons to use next time: a free appetizer with $25 purchase. No thank you. Not coming back to spend even one more dollar. Bill was more than $110 for a party of 4 for subpar food & service. read more

I used to love coming to True Food Kitchen at The Point, but my brunch experience today was completely unacceptable and entirely devoid of basic hospitality. First, they have severely stripped down their menu options and only offer whole milk or almond milk now--gone are the high-quality alternatives like hemp. When I tried to order a hot matcha latte, the server actually told me to walk to a neighboring restaurant to fetch my own milk! I walked all the way over to North Italia, graciously got a cup of oat milk, and brought it back. I explicitly ordered my matcha HOT (I never drink cold drinks). After a 15-minute wait, the server brought me an ICED matcha, completely wasting the oat milk I had gone out of my way to get.To make matters worse, the manager came over to bring a replacement and proceeded to lecture and reprimand me. I was told they "don't offer this," that this was the "last time they'd do this for me," and that I should "never ask for oat milk again." I was treated like a misbehaving child for a mistake their own staff made. When the food finally arrived, it was mediocre at best. The eggs and sweet potato dish barely had any actual eggs in it, and the pancakes were completely soggy and gross. I went inside to speak to the manager because the entire situation was incredibly uncomfortable and the service was hostile. While my friend paid for her portion, I felt I shouldn't have had to pay for mine given the treatment--but I paid anyway just to leave. True Food Kitchen has completely lost its standard of customer service. I will not be returning! read more

I was really looking forward to checking out this place. We came in this past Saturday night. The host was able to seat us immediately. All the food coming out of the kitchen looked good. We ordered two cups of the butternut squash soup. Very watery and luke warm. I'm guessing they didn't want to make anymore, even though we were there at 6:30pm. nowhere need closing. My husband ordered the American Burger, didn't say whether it was good or bad. I ordered the Chopped Salad with Chicken. The chicken was dry and chewy. Most likely cooked hours before. Then there was trying to find all the micro size cheese, dates and more. I asked for another dressing, just to try to make it easier to eat since it was so dry. My daughter ordered the Tuna Poke Bowl, which was a very small serving which our server had mentioned. The service was exceptional, the food very mediocre. I was really excited to try True Food Kitchen, but unfortunately had a really disappointing experience. We ended up waiting over an hour for our food. We checked in with our server multiple times and were told it would be "right out," but there were constant delays. We first spoke with a female manager who assured us our meal was next in line and said she would personally bring it out to us. Another 10 minutes went by, and then a different manager came over and told us the order had only been placed about 15 minutes earlier. At that point we asked him to cancel it, but he kept assuring us it would be right out. Another 10 minutes passed, we flagged him down again, and he said "two more minutes." When we said we had already been waiting over an hour, he responded with "don't worry, I believe you," which honestly felt pretty dismissive. After another 10-minute wait, we finally got the food to go, but it was cold, pretty bland, and not what we were expecting at all. On the way out we stopped at Mendocino Farms next door just to grab some water, and they randomly gave us two free cookies and were incredibly kind for no reason. That contrast pretty much summed up the experience. We definitely won't be returning to True Food, but we'll absolutely be back to Mendocino. I really wanted to like this place, but the long wait, miscommunication, and food quality made it a disappointing visit. read more

Parking: Easy, free lot. I was surprised by how much I actually liked True Food Kitchen. I think I had the assumption that it would be like Tender Greens or cafeteria-style. I came in for happy hour and ordered: -Edamame dumplings -Meatloaf sliders (x2) -Buffalo tenders -Buffalo cauliflower The edamame dumplings were more like ravioli in wonton skin. It was a super delicate dish--creamy and delicious. I only ordered one serving, which I think came with six dumplings for $8 during happy hour. The meatloaf sliders came in pairs and were topped with a delicious horseradish cream/mayo. I think I loved these the most because I loved the kick. A bit expensive for what it was ($10), but I ordered one plate, liked it so much, and got a second. The buffalo tenders ($8) and cauliflower were both really good, but nothing too extraordinary. They were exactly what you'd expect. Service was friendly. All in all, I would definitely come back! read more

Parking is vast but the weekend is a war zone so definitely come a little early to get parking close to the venue. The area is quite spacious and the host was very welcoming to wait for my guest to come for brunch. The open space is really relaxing but definitely bring a jacket since the breeze is chilly. i feel like true food kitchen is a really good option for those who have are vegan/vegetarian, the food is not amazing but honestly it's pretty good. the side carrots are a 10/10 for me :) the all american burger is pretty good too i love the kale salad, it's pretty good their quinoa was so good! i was full and couldn't stop eating i also loved their mushroom it has the perfect taste and texture the service is great i didn't feel uncomfortable or unheard my water was refilled and i also didn't feel hovered over either the vibes were very home-like and calm. this is the place you might come with your family and have dinner or maybe have a relaxing hang out with friends. read more

Yikes I haven't experienced this level of poor service in.. I don't even know. The wait for food was long. Pizza was not hot. My shrimp add-on to my salad was not fully cooked. They re-did it and it was super salty. My husband's burger was well done and dry when he asked for medium. Our server never checked on us. We had to wave him down for everything. Manager knew about our situation and did not apologize. Rather, he told my husband that the grill cook was overwhelmed. Environment was fine though. But this place needs help! My past 3-4 visits were all similarly disappointing but this one tops it. Edit: had to walk back in after noticing that they tried to charge for the burger (showed the minus but they charged double for the burger). Manager fumbled with his words saying he had a brain fart.
