Service here was friendly and fast. The teriyaki chicken bowl was fresh and seemed very healthy! I love how they cooked the veggies especially. Outside is bright and friendly and can seat 1-20 people! Would recommend to anyone who wasn't a quick or slow meal, and wants something a little healthier

Zero stars. Truly one of the WORST restaurants we've ever been to. The service was atrocious, and the food was subpar. We appreciated the gluten-free options, but that was the only positive. The restaurant wasn't super busy (6:45 PM on a weekday), but we still had to wait 15 minutes for a table. And when we were finally seated, the host didn't leave us with menus. It took almost 20 minutes for our waitress to even acknowledge us, so my husband got the menus himself. Meanwhile, tables all around us were being seated with menus and being served while we were completely overlooked. We truly felt invisible. Although our server eventually showed up with waters and took our order, things didn't get any better. Our food took almost 30 minutes. The pizza was burnt and barely warm, while the burger and fries were at least hot. My husband actually enjoyed the burger, but the fries were hard. We were starving, so we ate what we could. The water was warm and the glasses were filthy, but we didn't bother asking for new waters given how bad the service was. By the end of the meal, it was obvious the servers had no idea what they were doing. Maybe the restaurant was understaffed, but it was clear they were disorganized and had no system in place. I've worked as a server before, and it's SO important to multitask. If you're bringing drinks to one table, you should also be monitoring or checking on your other tables to see if they need anything. Instead, it felt like every task required a separate trip, which made the service painfully slow. Overall, eating here was a complete waste of time and money. It's a shame because we came here based on the positive reviews, and our experience couldn't have been more different.

Was really hoping to have a 5 start experience to help promote more healthy restaurants. My wife loves this place, but has only been to the Newport location. We were in the area and tried a bunch of dishes/drinks, but they fell short of expectations. Service: staff was very nice. It was good, but they missed the mark several times to make it a great experience. Atmosphere: Was great weather on Sunday, so enjoyed the outdoor area. It was clean and noise level was low, so we could enjoy conversation over brunch. Food: Unfortunately, left a lot to be desired. The Green drink and Watermelon cocktail were both really good. So were the edamame dumplings. However, it wasn't the best All Grain bowl; and my wife has had it several times from the other location. The Peri peri plate had great chicken, but the rest of it was lack luster. We won't be ordering the pizza and fries again; our toddler wouldn't even eat the pizza :-( Hoping it was an anomaly, but perhaps the quality between the two locations varies?

If I could give 3.5 stars, I would. Service is quite good which brings the score up. Ambiance is also pretty great and I love how convenient it is in the point. However the food was really mediocre and hit or miss. We got multiple entrees and I tried some of other people's. The bad: -The Chinese chicken salad was weird, I've never had anything like it but would NOT get it again. The ingredients a bit obscure which is fine but the dressing was unappetizing. -Adding "steak" to a salad- the "steak" that was added to our salad looked like chewed up dog food. Weird chunks that was so gross and chewy. I've had better steak at chipotle or any other establishment. They should really remove this option. MEH: -Salmon- salmon was cooked fine. The vegetables underneath were okay but had a slightly weird flavor -Jambalaya was underwhelming The good: -The mushroom pizza? Delicious. Would absolutely get again -Panini is more like a folded pizza but was honestly sooo good Seems like only the bready/pizza things were good here.

Food is always good and has a large menu. I had their burger which had a very bland salad but the burger was delicious. Friend has the Chinese chicken salad that had an unusual dressing but she enjoyed the salad. Service is great.

Ambiance: green and healthy themed restaurant, with spacious and cozy dining vibes, good for large group hangouts Service: very friendly and attentive, introduced their menu and specialities thoroughly, refilled water promptly Food: their menu has a heavy emphasis on vegetarian food Edamame Dumplings - *** white truffle oil, dashi, thai basil, sesame seeds, unique taste Pepperoni Pizza - *** Niman Ranch uncured pepperoni, DiNapoli tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil, average taste Spaghetti Squash Casserole - ** caramelized onions, fresh mozzarella, DiNapoli tomato sauce, mushy texture Voodoo Ranger Juicy Haze IPA - **** canned beer, easy to drink, recommend Price: small to moderate portions, overall mediocre quality, expect $35+ per person

My family and I really enjoyed Sunday brunch at True Food Kitchen. The space is bright and comfortable, and the service was friendly and attentive. There are plenty of fresh, healthy options to choose from on the menu. I had the Rancher's Hash, which was tasty, and my little one loved the kids' tomato pasta--simple and just the way he likes it. Overall, it's a great spot if you're looking to eat clean and still enjoy a satisfying meal.

Large airy dining area. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, because of the rain the rest rooms were out of operation. The menu had several vegan options. The ones I had were delicious. The soup was creamy and the pizza had a delightful lemon ricotta.

I escaped LAX during a layover (before the red eye home!) to enjoy my favorite meal at TFK. This is a chain so I've been to these before but this one is a standout. The servers and staff really fo above and beyond to be warm and welcoming. My go to meal is the season soup, the kale salad with no cheese add salmon and occasionally I order the fries. I love the grapefruit spritz (n/a) and also the skinny margarita. Highly recommend!!

It's an unassuming spot in a corner of a strip center that you could easily miss. It's the cutest space with indoor and patio seating as well as a few bar spots, good for solo dining. We started with the meatballs and Caesar salad. The meatballs had a crisp sear outside that gave way to a soft inside. So good with the tomato sauce and arugula. The Caesar had a touch of spiciness and was dressed with toasted bread crumbs, a nice touch. I had the bolognese. It was tender and meaty and the pasta had the right amount of bite. This was even great leftover the next day. The Meyer lemon pie was the perfect closer. DineLA was the right call to bring me in to to try this gem of a spot.

As far as decoration and space, I like the El Segundo location better. Also, the cocktails were well balanced and refreshing. Additionally, the staff from hostess to our server and busser were all amiable and professional. The downside was the food, which is the most important thing for the restaurant and determines if I will come back. I used to be so delighted at the flavors and creative little twists at Little Sister. However, the food these past two visits to Little Sister was basic at best. For example, we ordered the papaya salad and there was no flavors as in no dressing. We ordered the short ribs and the flavor was uneven and bland in 2/3rd of the meat and the noodles were also dry. Even their famous garlic noodle and crepe was too soggy and even bitter (overcooked ingredients). I was with good friends and with the cocktails, we still had a fun night but was very disappointed at the food has really gone down in the past few years. The sad thing is the quality of the ingredients was not the issue. Seems like the prep and execution has gotten lax and lazy and it really felt like the kitchen was phoning it in. I am still giving it a 3 stars instead of less stars to wish them improvement. The fried rice with prawns and imperial rolls still holds up. And due to their service staff, I cannot give them less. These days, it is hard for restaurants to get professional and decent staff so please appreciate them.

The dishes are kind of like a small plates setting. A bowl is just a small amount of food to accompany your base (rice or veggies). The bowls are said to rotate by the day which I take to mean as preprepared (hence express). The staff were polite and brought the food out swiftly. I ordered a fried rice base and a green curry chicken bowl. The fried rice was a bit too wet (like freshly cooked rice turned into fried rice) and lacking a strong soy sauce presence; however, it does mean that it pairs well with the curry without being overwhelming. The curry has a bright fresh flavor with a creamy coconut milk taste and was definitely the highlight of the meal. I also managed to sample their soft serve. The flavors were Thai tea and blue butterfly. They tasted pretty standard and the Thai tea and blue butterfly definitely shone through, but not much else. It was chaos and confusing as the person onsite couldn't give me a timeline of when my food would be ready, but you're watching orders flying out the doors. In total I waited 45 minutes only to be reminded that I couldn't dine in, but wasn't told how long my order would be. Food was subpar, portion was small and bland. The fried rice was very dry and inedible, it taste like it's a couple of days old. The Tom Kha was decent, not the best I've had but it was good enough to enjoy. The Penang curry was very flavorful and had a good kick, this would be my favorite. Order ahead of time, there's nothing personable about this place.

The cookie was a little on the dry side, though, and the steak was honestly underwhelming for a $120 price tag. The drinks were much more impressive: well-made, nicely balanced, and definitely on the sweeter side Service was definitely on point. They weren't constantly checking in, which I actually appreciated, but whenever we needed something, someone was there and very attentive. Everyone was also friendly and welcoming throughout the meal The ambiance leans more toward a bar-restaurant than traditional fine dining, but the interior has some classy design elements and definitely gives off that modern LA fine-dining feel I'd probably come back to try some of the other dishes before making a final judgment.
