It was blazing outside, and these guys show up and get straight to work like pros. No chaos, no complaining, just calm, confident, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. So... I'm outside being a little nosy (as one does), watching the whole thing go down. I poke my head over my fence and I realized I literally interrupted their lunch... sorry... And instead of being annoyed or rushing, they were still super cool, professional, and took their time helping out. Who does that?! Un chingo de Respect!!! So I ask them if they would be able to take a quick look at my system, and they didn't hesitate. No pressure, no upselling, just honest advice and good energy. Customer service? Top tier!!! Work quality? Solid!!! Overall vibe? 10/10!!! I appreciated that Art came out to check what was happening and discussed options. I asked for an Energy Star certified tankless water heater for taxes. Art checked their supplier for the specs and found one that I then approved as it's on the Energy Star list. I also add I asked them to add a utility sink as I didn't have one before. Art shopped for one for me and installed it, too. Happy to have one now and it's convenient for the flushing of the tankless water heater. As my home is older, my regulator needed to be replaced, too. They replaced it and put in an easy water turn off handle! They measured before and after to ensure it was doing its job and showed me. I liked and appreciated how I was informed and then shown the repairs. Both Art and Ace were very friendly, knowledgeable, and hard workers! They cleaned up after themselves by sweeping and removing old parts - love it! I chose Castillo Plumbing after looking around and read the reviews here. I found my go to plumbers!!! In the process, Adam and team broke the stairs immediately, and reassembled them with screws sticking out and chunks broken remains used to "level" the remaining stairs (photos of all work attached.) While on site, Adam asked for "200-300$" outside of the scope of the signed contract for the same work that would have been done with or without the additional request. Through the phone exchanges and emails regarding these issues Adam was arrogant and dismissive, yet also took blame for the stairs and will not resolve the issue. Adam's team poured our concrete before a heavy rain, but failed to redirect a gutter (as it had originally been before construction) from pouring directly onto the concrete causing a water stain from the pooling water on the fresh concrete. Again, when confronted with this issue and asking for a resolution Adam denied blame and said "wait a year". As of 6/11/26 there has been no reply nor efforts made on behalf of this company to repair any personal property damage nor resurface the concrete stain/ finish the job as fully paid for.
