I live close to this restaurant and wanted to give it a try, also I LOVE Dions. The inside is nice, front staff courteous. We waited awhile for our food, no refills on drinks, no one checked on us or gave any reassurance that our food was on its way or that it had been checked on. The reason for the one star is the food, the food is bland and nothing seems to stand out. I ordered the green Chile chicken soup, not bad just nothing very good about it, bland. My mom had a chicken salad sandwich, also ok, no flavor. The inside reminds me of home decor at Home Goods. I hope they do well since the space was vacant for awhile. Food, underwhelming. I think the sandwiches are much better at Dions. read more

First of all, the place looks great. Great atmosphere. My family and I found a corner booth. Waitstaff was polite but seemed a little inexperienced. Ordering was weird. Didn't understand the whole point of ordering upon walk-in. Seemed like it took a while for us to get our food too. Food was mediocre. Had the crispy chicken sandwich, Mac n cheese, and broccolini. Did not taste home made. Also, tots are not exactly a delicacy. Seemed like a strange choice for a side. Keep in mind, the place is new and may be working out some kinks. Usually I would give them 4-5 stars. The thing I have noticed is the lack of consistency with the quality of their food. I have ordered their Chicken Caesar Salad at least 6 times + in the restaurant and to go. I don't know for sure but in the past the chicken almost tastes hand breaded there in the restaurant, Caesar dressing usually a thick consistency. So sad that I paid $23 dollars for my meal today. The croutons in the tomato soup were awful (in the past they have been very fresh tasting and I don't even like croutons), the salad looked like a bagged Caesar salad from the grocery store, the breaded chicken breast tasted and looked like something frozen from grocery store and the worst part was the salad dressing. It was a very thin consistency and tasted more like a vinaigrette than a Caesar dressing and sadly the lemonade was even disappointing today. I could of went to the store and got a bag of Caesar salad, a can of tomato soup, chicken tenders and some Country time lemonade and it would have been just as good or even better and paid half the price. I've been there other times and they serve bread but not all of the time. I feel like it's a day by day thing on what you are going to get there and I've been shorted on my change as well when paying cash. Let me start with why it's 3 stars and not 2. The staff is very nice and attentive. The new building is nice and clean. Also, the cocktails are pretty good. Other than that, it's downhill from there. The concept appears to be Italian, but very poorly executed. First, you walk in the door and suddenly have to place your order, from a very limited menu, before you can even get a table, and you have to find your own table. I don't understand why you can't order at your table if you pay with your server when you're done eating. Now, the food... boring and bland. The chicken scallopini lacked any flavor other than the slightly grilled lemon that comes with it. If you don't squeeze that lemon over everything, you will taste nothing. The noodles barely have any olive oil on them, but completely lacking any wine, butter or salt like you find in any traditional recipe for this dish. The chicken was moist but bland, as well. The broccolini still had the hard, blackish ends on them. And, the charcuterie board was something a kid could put together with ingredients from the Walmart deli. No bread either, just about 6-8 small pita bread triangles and those came with the charcuterie plate (no board). Also, overpriced for what you get. For two people, two small ($10 ea) cocktails, charcuterie plate and two entrees was about $80. You would have a better meal at Olive Garden. I don't see this place making it 2 years. It will be a nice building for whatever restaurant moves in there next. I had such high hopes for this place and was extremely disappointed. read more

One of the worst restaurants of my life. We basically had to beg for water because nobody wanted to give us any refills. The food was over salted and the beef was very bloody. The only good person who was there is the bartender, a woman in her 40s. She attended to us more than the actual waiter. Do not come here this place is a joke. read more

Sorry the over priced food just does not cut it; too bland and not well prepared. The building is nice and clean. The staff are efficient and polite. But that was my first and last trip there. I was excited to try this place - close to home, looks fun. I wanted to like it too, but it was fair, I guess. The ordering was strange, I'm not sure what the purposeful the ordering right as you enter is, but whatever. The tables are way too narrow. When you sit in a booth, the person across from you bumps knees - not very comfortable at all. Ok - food: it was just fair. Nothing gluten free except for the kebabs. They were super tough and mediocre. The broccoli was cold on one end and warm on the other. We also had the pulled pork and it was nothing that makes us want to come back. Lastly, we tried the Mac and cheese - again, just plain old pasta. The menu choices were also strange - kinda all over the place, with no real direction. This was our first visit to Tula's Kitchen and happened on a Saturday. The restaurant and bar area were busy. It took a little bit of time for our order to arrive at our table, but our waitress (who was also the bartender) was very good about keeping us informed of the status of our order. As a relatively new location, I always expect there will be some kinks to work out. The food and appetizer were very delicious and the portion sizes were very good. I was taken out for my birthday by a dear friend. I personally feel that Tula's is overpriced for what you get. I ordered the Greek Appetizer with hummus that had some white cheese on top of it, four itzy bitzy pieces of American cheese, two compartments of nuts, a few slices of tomatoes and cucumber and a few cut up small pieces of pita - all this for the price of $12.50. Sorry but I was totally disappointed. (Oh sorry, I left out the olives). Could not carry on a conversation with my friend as the restaurant is very open in design and very, very noisy. Will I return? A 10 minute wait turned into 40. For two people. On a wednesday. Food was incredibly bland, the chicken sandwich came with no sauce and the "signature" tots had no seasoning at all. The reuben came super soggy and the pastrami tasted spoiled. Service was slow and unorganized. The restaurant looked nice, but the ambiance was ruined by the loudness. We were just there today. Checked in with the hostess. She asked how many in our group, we had five people. She told us that there was no room in the dining room and a ten minute wait for the patio. There were a lot of empty tables, but we didn't think anything of it. Then another party walks in with five people and gets seated immediately in the dining room. Then another party, a family of four, walks in and the hostess proceeds to seat them ahead of us, as well. As we get up to leave the man with the family asks if we were there before them. We said yes, but clearly the hostess was not going to seat us. He then proceeded to tell the hostess that we were there before them and the hostess ignored him. It was my first time here. I've heard from other family members that it wasn't good but I wanted to give it a shot! I took my fiancé and my parents. We all ordered something different so we could taste the different flavors and meals. Unfortunately immediately entering there were a TON of flies all over! They were all over our table and we had to keep swatting them away. Then the meals come and everything was flavorless. very bland! My mom ordered the prime rib...not good at all. It was flavorless and extremely chewy! I ordered the Airline chicken and the chicken had zero flavor. It had mashed potatoes that actually were decent so that's all I ate. My dad had the Ruben sandwich which unfortunately fell flat too. My fiance ordered the Prime rib sandwich which I had a bite of and that was actually the best thing we all ordered! We decided to order the brownie for dessert to share. It took 35 mins for us to receive the brownie. The brownie was very thin and most of it was nuts and covered with ice cream to make it look more grande: The service was veryyyyy slow. Took my wife & son. Nice looking restaurant, friendly staff. High point was the club sandwich my wife had. She enjoyed it. Green chili chicken stew; didn't resemble anything New Mexican & was bland with no discernable green chili flavor. By pork kebabs were very over cooked, dry and lacked seasoning. We asked 2 different staff for drink refills with no response. We then asked a manager (who was bussing tables) for refills who responded to promptly. We wish this restaurant well, however the post-Covid plight of short staff with little experience definitely affects its performance. We do not plan to return. read more

If you're someone who has to watch your gluten intake this is one I'd skip. I ordered the roasted chicken which came with broccolini and roasted potatoes and a greek style salad. The girl at the counter taking our order had a chart with what foods had allegens which was pretty good. But it was interesting that the greek dressing wasn't on there. I ask her to leave off the cheese on the salad and I ordered the lemon vinaigrette. When my dish arrived I could tell the "roasted" potatoes had been dunked in a fryer. I double checked and the server confirmed that the cooks had thrown them in the fryer that shared gluten items that morning to reheat them. The chicken was good. But the broccoli underneath was overloaded with salt and chili. I couldn't eat it. And the potatoes were a no go. So I had the cucumber salad with no dressing because at that point I didn't trust anything and I was hungry. My gluten eater husband ordered the ruben sandwich with tomato soup. The sandwich was huge and he said it was good as was the soup. It was very busy. The decor is very bright and cheerful. Portions were good. Sorry, I was underwhelmed. Very limited menu. Service was quick and good. Food not that good. The half chicken was over cooked and dry and not well spiced - not much flavor. The potatoes were good but very salty and greasy. The salad is limited to cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions with some olives and too much dressing. Recommend asking them to leave the dressing on the side. A little goes a long way. I don't think there's any lettuce in the restaurant. The green chili chicken soup was good. Again, very salty but had a good flavor. Overall not so good. I don't see how this restaurant is attached to Dions. Everything from service to food just was not up to par. I got a steak salad. Two little slivers of the heart of romaine lettuce. Four tiny pieces of steak maybe 6 cherry tomatoes and two cold pieces of plain toasted bread. Not even garlic or buttered bread. Just cold and toasted. All that for $16. Kids meals weren't any better. They have a kids mac n cheese. It's a half order of regular Mac n cheese. Comes with no drink, side, toys or dessert for 6$. Now on the regular menu they have Mac n cheese loaded with bread crumbs and feta cheese for $5. Kids lemonade was $3. No value in any thing there not to mention the kids mac n cheese was loaded with pepper and they use sharp cheddar. No kid likes either of those so it was a 6$ waste. Even the lemonade was subpar. Should just use dions recipe. There's also l like 20 little awkward kids working there that barely pic up there head to say hi and surely won't fill your iced tea. My iced tea wasn't filled once. Didn't have to worry about kids cause they didn't eat or drink anything. Waitress noticed they didn't eat and didn't mention anything like "hey I noticed your kids didn't eat out overpriced crap. Want me to take it off the bill or get them something else?" Anyway, was looking forward to this place and it fell way short. Not sure why it's rated kinda high. read more

The Service is incredible! I sat on their outdoor patio Mia was my server, she was very knowledgeable and recommended the steak cooked medium rare. She had the steak out in 15 mins cooked to perfection. It was the absolute right thing to get! Cannot recommend enough. Way to go Tula's and way to go mia!
