All the reels on IG look good, but it wasn't worth the hype. The atmosphere was cool, music isn't so loud you have to yell to have a conversation. Tables clean, but they do clean the seating with the same towel they use on the tables. I always bring wipes. We were seated right away, service was ok. They took our drink order, about 10 min later they took our food order. We ordered the Chilaquiles (bandera style), there was one layer of chips on half the plate (probably 12 chips) $18 seemed too pricey for the amount given. And we got El Trio $19, each item was about 3-4 oz, 1) Menudo has good flavor, no hominy or meat, only tripe & too much of it. It was a bit oily too. 2) Barbacoa good flavor too, but too much fatty pieces in it. I had half meat & half fat, not so appetizing. 3) Pozole, good flavor too, mine had more hominy than pork, that was a bummer. But loved the fresh tortillas, those were delish. read more

My sister and I have been wanting to go here for a while and we finally were able to bring my whole family and let me tell you it was everything we imagined. The food was delicious, the restaurant had great music and the staff were really friendly. We got there during breakfast/brunch and the options were for everyone. My sister doesn't eat meat so she ordered french toast with Nutella, my parents ordered barbacoa and pozole i ordered the chilaquiles de mole with chicken. I've been begging my fiancée to come here because I saw their fried fish on instagram and I'm easily influenced lol. It's in a plaza with lots of parking which was a plus. We were seated quickly on a Monday at around 5pm and after that they started to get a steady dinner rush. The place is really cute with greenery everywhere and music playing. Service was nice. Food was honestly just okay. Guac wirh chicharon and chips 3.5: Guac was good. Chicharon seemed like it was reheated. It didn't come out hot, felt chewy and not super crispy. Seasoning was nice but didn't think it was made fresh. Some of the chips were also chewy like they weren't fried well. Carne asada fries 3.5: really tasty but not enough meat for my liking. The fries tasted like the frozen seasoned ore ida fries. Fried fish 4: this was my favorite dish. Really crispy and tasted good. I think they usually only do it for breakfast/brunch? I went with her recommendation, I had the chilaquiles with poblano sauce, this was really good. The green sauce was a creamy green sauce which I had not had ever before on chilaquiles, it paired very well with the sour cream and fresh cheese, the skirt steak was cooked perfectly, even though this cut can be dry when overcooked, the cook did a good job!. My husband had the trio, Posole, barbacoa and menudo. He said all 3 were good but he preferred the barbacoa and menudo. He enjoyed his food and even though at first he thought it wouldn't be enough he did get full and was a happy camper. The cafe de olla is always my go to when a restaurant offers it, Tulum's was very good, and it was even better with the sweet bread. I absolutely love the way this place is decorated! I noticed that there are a bunch of huge TVs set up which leads me to believe this would be a fun spot to come watch a game with friends. We were here for lunch and got some mimosas, a michelada, breakfast molcajete, tacos, birria, al pastor, fish, and few other things. The plating is an event in and of itself. The fish came out having been fried and hanging from a hook with it's side dishes held in small bowls underneath it. I came here on Sunday, May 4th. The day before cinco de mayo. We got there at a good time only waited 10-15 min. My sister and I got the same plate of the green enchiladas. The beans, rice, and enchiladas were all delicious. I want to go back and try another dish. I also noticed they have agua mineral preparada which is great for those who like the vibe of "drinking" but without alcohol. The service was great, the girl was very friendly.
