We have been waiting for this place to open since we notice the work they started doing on the building a few months back and found out it was going to be Mexican Cuisine. What a turn out compared to what it was!! We decided to check it out this past Sunday for brunch, since their IG story promoted Bottomless Mimosas at $20 bucks with the purchase of an entrée! (Who doesn't love a bottomless mimosa place and at that price!) We were greeted by Rene (the manager) who let us choose our table. Right away Leonardo showed up and introduced himself as our waiter. Very polite and on point with everything. We each ordered the bottomless mimosas and were happy to see that they are not premixed! They bring it to your table chilled in a champagne bucket, and the bottles just kept coming! 10/10! We ordered the "Birriaquiles" which were so savory and just the right amount Also the Montecristo sandwich which was heaven in my mouth! Delicious We order the chocolate chip pancakes (for the 8 yr old) that was with us and nothing was left on his plate! Over all, we were very happy with this place and let's not forget the ambiance, from the decor to the lighting and the music, it was definitely a Tulum vibe! We can't wait to come back and try other dishes from their menu that we saw being ordered by other patrons. New favorite spot in town for us! Highly recommend it! read more

I recently dined at Tulum in Anaheiml, and I couldn't have been happier with my experience! From the moment we walked in, the vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel right at home. We started off with the guacamole and chips, which was fresh and perfectly seasoned. For my main dish, I ordered the Cecina tacos, and they were incredible! The meat was tender and flavorful, paired with homemade tortillas and fresh toppings. My friend had the lobster enchiladas, and she raved about the rich, savory sauce. The drink menu was also impressive. I tried their signature margarita, which was the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. Also the Margaritas is Organics. Wowwwwwwww. The service was prompt and attentive without being intrusive, and the prices were reasonable for the quality of food we received. My wife and I stopped in for lunch recently, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. I ordered my steak medium, but it was served overly well done. While I chose not to send it back, it was clearly not prepared as requested. My wife ordered the Tulum Breakfast Plate, and it arrived without the sausage. When we brought this to the server's attention, he told us he was already aware. It was concerning that this was never communicated to us beforehand. Instead, he brought bacon to the table without asking if that substitution would be acceptable. When we explained she did not want additional bacon, he simply took it back without offering any further solution. The lack of communication and overall service left a poor impression, and the food quality did not make up for it. Based on this visit, we would not return. read more

I visited this restaurant for the first time, and it was quite appealing both outside and inside. The waitress was friendly, and I ordered the chilaquiles verdes de lengua. Unfortunately, my experience took a turn for the worse when I discovered a mosquito-like insect in my dish while eating. Given my sensitive stomach, this was especially distressing. I immediately informed the waitress, who apologized and explained that they've been dealing with mosquito issues due to the real plants inside. She offered to remake my dish, but by then, my appetite was gone. Additionally, I noticed a 30% discount on the receipt, yet they still charged me for the food with the mosquito that I couldn't eat, which I find very unprofessional for a high-end restaurant. We had our first girls' brunch at Tulum OC, and it was an incredible experience! From the delicious food to the refreshing drinks and top-notch service, everything exceeded our expectations. The ambience is absolutely beautiful--chic, cozy, and perfect for a brunch outing. We started with the watermelon margarita, which was perfectly balanced and refreshing. For food, we ordered the pork belly avocado as an appetizer, followed by the lobster enchiladas, and a large shared dish (I wish I remembered the name!) that was perfect for the four of us. To top it all off, we indulged in crepes and coffee, which was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. We were really looking forward to trying this place, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. I ordered the Tamarindo Margarita and was incredibly disappointed -- it tasted more like gasoline than anything resembling tamarindo. Not a hint of the flavor it was supposed to have. I had the Sopa Azteca, which had decent flavor overall, but the queso in it was rubbery and unpleasant. My husband ordered the Tierra y Mar fajitas, and they were completely bland -- no seasoning, no flavor, just disappointing. The restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived, and now I understand why. Had a belated birthday celebration with friends last night. Our server, Pedro was fantastic!!! He deserves 5 stars alone! Gave the location 4 stars, since it does seem like there are a few things they still need to figure out to. Fairly new open (with the last 4 months). From appetizer through dessert, we had exception service from Pedro. The food was delicious! My main entree was the Swiss Enchiladas and they were delicious!!
