Came here on Monday 6/30/25 for my birthday dinner. They had a ton of reservations open so we decided to just walk in. We arrived around 6:10 pm and there was only 1 table occupied in the front and then in the back room it seemed like it was a larger party. We waited at checkin for 20 minutes but no one came to greet us at the hostess stand, and noticed not one server came to check in on the front table either. We decided to leave as it seemed short staffed and was never greeted. Otherwise the interior was cute and had that Tulum aesthetic. I will definitely try and visit again, hopefully, we get service next time. read more

Tulum is a New brunch/dinner spot in Anaheim located near the Disneyland vicinity. The restaurant interior is beautifully updated and decorated making it the perfect "instagram-worthy" photo spot! Our server was so friendly, bubbly and attentive. She helped suggest some delicious and popular menu items for us to choose from. We finally decided on the Birriaquiles, Tulum Mar & Tierra Fajitas, Rib eye and Battered fish Signature tacos. The food came out hot, sizzling and absolutely delicious! The birriaquiles had tons of flavor, a good touch of heat and the birria meat was tender and juicy. The signature tacos are served in huge portions! They do not skimp out on the meat at this establishment at all! I loved how the fajitas were prepared, the proteins and shrimp were cooked to near perfection. The vegetables were not overly cooked and tasted so fresh. We thought we could order dessert at the end, but our bellies were too full from the wonderful meal we had. Highly recommend this spot if you're visiting the Disneyland area. Will definitely be back to try more of their signature dishes on my next visit! read more

Came here for a holiday get together with my girls and everyone enjoyed the food! Beautiful set up and friendly staff! The restaurant has cute photo-ops as well. Legit Mexican food. If you enjoy spicy foods , this is the place to go. Aguachiles were packed with flavor and so was the azteca soup, perfect for this cold weather. Highly recommend! If you cannot handle spicier than mild, I would not suggest getting these dishes. They're currently in their soft opening right now, so go before it gets busy! read more

The restaurant is super cute, it's decorated really cute It was pretty empty so it was nice and quiet with good music. Our service was great. Our server was the bartender and handled the 12 to 15 people that were in there. The food on the other hand was the true problem. The bone marrow was great. But we ordered two dishes that had steak. And the steak was so chewy. I'm not even kidding you when I tell you, you're chewing for a solid two minutes before you can either swallow it or spit it out and it was on both steaks and I ordered one steak rare. The other one was ordered, medium rare. And they were so chewy, was worse than trying to swallow old gum. We randomly found this spot and honestly... it turned out to be one of those "why isn't this place packed every night?" kind of experiences. From the moment we walked in, Lauren took care of us and set the tone for the whole night. Super kind, attentive without hovering, and she really knew the menu inside and out. You can tell she actually cares, not just going through the motions. The vibe inside is beautiful--warm lighting, clean, cozy and inviting. There's even a private dining area that's perfect if you're planning something more intimate or a small party. It felt thoughtfully designed without being over the top. Now the food... this is where they really win. Everything tasted fresh and legit: - Agua chile had the perfect kick - Baja tacos were loaded and super flavorful - Fajita mar y tierra came out sizzling and generous (i would share). - Lobster enchiladas were rich but not heavy (probably my favorite) Portions were solid too--we left full but not miserable. One unexpected bonus: if you step out to the parking lot at the right time, you can actually catch the Disneyland fireworks. That was a cool little surprise to end the night. We tried this place for the first time while looking for somewhere for brunch. The menu looked promising and I was able to make a reservation. The reservation was not necessary as we were sat immediately and there were a handful of available tables/no wait. The omelettes and chilaquiles we had were perfect. The bottomless mimosas included a full bottle and two juice options. We will be back for brunch again plus the lunch/dinner menu looks really good as well. Service was prompt and friendly. Came here on a Sunday brunch time with a reservation for a party of 8. The place was busy and it appeared that they only had two servers, therefore things were a bit slow. It took a while to get seated despite having a reservation. We noticed another party of 5 that has been there, and was still standing there waiting when we got seated. We saw that they asked for an estimated time as they had already waited so long, and was quoted another 10-15 minutes. Sadly, about 25 minutes passed and they were still not seated and they finally left. It's unfortunate that the restaurant was short staffed. I wasn't in the mood for much and wanted soups, but was sad that they discontinued both of their bigger soup options: pozole and menudo. You'd think they offer it on the weekends, but the server mentioned it was too costly for them. Since I was still feeling like soup, I asked for their clam chowder (which I was low key hesitant to get), but the server was honest and said she wouldn't recommend it as she's not sure if it's fresh. Although, wouldn't you think they make their soups fresh everyday? In the end, I got the sopa azteca, the last soup option I could get. I didn't want this originally because of all the spices the soup was made with, especially since I already had an upset stomach to begin with. Nonetheless, it was still tasty and had bits of cheese and avocado. One thing I was upset about this though was that on the menu, it clearly stated that it was $8. We didn't realize it until after we have left the restaurant that they charged us $12 for this soup. The soup size was larger than we anticipated, but not sure if that's why they upcharge us. They should have mentioned it if they were going to upcharge us since they gave us a bigger portion, because I did not want a bigger portion, I just wanted a side cup of soup. I did not finish it. Food took a while to arrive, but we understood since they were short staff. The other weird part was that there was a photographer going around asking to take our photos to sell us their frames. The waiter did mention that they are not affiliated with the photographers, but allowed them to promote their frames/photos with the caveat that they use the restaurant logo. We were all not in the mood to take photos so found this part a bit annoying. Overall, the place looked promising, but with the lack of staff and wait times, and limited menu options, it really hinder our experience here. I'm not sure if I would come back here again. read more

Service was great, this is a new spot in Anaheim and wanted to check it out. Bone marrow tasted good, the music was good great, but realized after 15 minutes that the music was on repeat . I think I heard the same 10 songs on repeat , which was a little annoying. Drinks were great, but the meat was extremely chewy. Hard to swallow , and was not able to enjoy it so we returned it. read more

My friends and I made dinner reservations at Tulum OC and it was by far the best experience. Pedro, our server was so attentive, funny and overall a pleasure to interact with during our dinning experience. He gave us recommendations and guided us through the menu. He also answered all of my questions, which was very kind of him. Drinks: I personally ordered the Spicy Jalapeño Margarita, my cousin ordered the Margarita Flight (Mango, Strawberry, Cucumber Cilantro, and Watermelon), and my friend ordered the Smoked Pineapple Margarita. Overall, the drinks were FANTASTIC! Very delicious! They paired really well with the free chips and salsa (Side Note: THE GREEN SALSA WAS SO GOOD!!) But the drinks were truly perfectly balanced, not overly sweet like your typical margarita. We enjoyed every sip! We can't wait to come back and try other cocktails. Appetizer: My friend ordered the Aguachiles, and it was REALLY GOOD. We would like it to be a little bit spicier, but overall it was very delicious. It also came with home made tostada, and it truly elevated the experience to the next level. Main Meal: I ordered the Skirt Stake Fajitas, and my cousin and friend ordered the Lobster Enchiladas. Let me start off by saying that I was expecting the fajitas to be very bland, but it was beyond savory! The steak was thick, and every piece was so flavorful. I enjoyed every piece. The Fajita veggies were perfectly seasoned and paired perfectly with the steak. And the guacamole and salsa added a perfect balance to the plate. I would get this again in a heartbeat! The Lobster Enchiladas were a SURPRISE. We truly didn't know what to expect since we've never encountered a plate like that before. But it was quite the surprise. Every bite of the enchilada had lobster in it, which was surprising. And the creamy lobster enchilada sauce was truly a surprising and flavorful treat. It blends perfectly well with the enchilada itself. It needed to be spicy, but we managed with the table green salsa. Overall we truly LOVED everything we ordered and can't wait to bring my parents and grandmother to have dinner here in the future. Shout out to Pedro for being so fun and accommodating. He also brought my cousin a cute detail for her birthday. Truly couldn't have asked for a better waiter. Give this place a chance. It's fairly new and they have a very delicious menu. read more

First time eating here since the restaurant used to be an Italian food place now its a Mexican food restaurant. I was impressed upon entering I noticed it was tidy and clean with a big tv on the wall for people like me who's wives sometimes work the night shifts. The menu has allot to offer but its hard to read due to the black background and Spanish words but my wonderful server helped me and I just told her what i wanted. I got 3 big tacos two with chicken and one with carne asada and they were the biggest and the best around. I ordered a guacamole that had chopped onion in it that made it perfect for me and it was served lumpy which is perfect. The chips and two kinds of salsa were both great. Water tasted filtered which is a huge plus for me. Chips were not greasy so i had a perfect Mexican dinner. Prices are ok and service is great. read more

The ambiance and decor were beautiful. The female server on a Monday evening was great. She was also great with our 2 yr old energetic son! The guacamole was good. My husband thought the watermelon margarita was delicious and refreshing. The fajitas were both of our favorites! We enjoyed the shrimp the most, followed by the steak, and still enjoyed the chicken as well. Everything was decently priced for the flavor and ambiance! We went back to celebrate both of our birthdays with family and they gave us both an option of churros or ice cream sundaes. We said the churros but they brought us 2 ice cream sundaes as well because of the kids with us. Highly recommend!! read more

This is my second dining experience at Tulum. The food, service is empicable. Their salsa is so creamy and subtle spice, I think the best salsa I have had...wish I could buy a jar! The salmon had a lobster cream sauce, similar with their chili relleno. We also had their cochinita pibil was so tender and flavorful, reminded me of chili colorado infused with Asian BBQ pork instead of beef. The pinto refried beans are very authentic, prepared correctly. Coming here again, don't change a thing! Oh, their black berry margarita, amazing. We made it skinny style, no simple syrup etc.. real blackberries muddled in. read more

Saw this place on IG Reels and convinced my friends to have a girl dinner here, but we were underwhelmed. The restaurant is easy to find - the storefront shows the name of the restaurant in big, bold, bright letters. There's parking in the back and on the side of the restaurant; the lot looked pretty full but none of us had trouble finding parking. The interior was cute, spacious, and very clean. The service was new and in training, but friendly. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing -- - The complimentary chips and salsa were as you would expect, but the green sauce was good. - The choriqueso is their version of the queso fundido. It was brought out over a burner and lit up in front of us so that we could watch and wait as it thickened at our table. The choriqueso itself tasted pretty good and they didn't skimp out on the chorizo, but the tortillas that came out with it were average and bland. - The calamari was well breaded but were all really chewy and actually made us all a little sore chewing it. Definitely our least favorite of the night. - We shared a Parrilla Tulum across the table, which came with different meats (bone marrow, chicken, asada, and carnitas), rice, beans, and veggies. We all thought the chicken was really good. The asada and carnitas were okay but didn't wow us. None of us enjoyed the bone marrow - it had a very slimy texture and a very oceanic taste. The corn that came with it was pretty good. - The margaritas we ordered all tasted either watered down or just like juice. None of us tasted the alcohol. We definitely had higher expectations but overall, it wasn't terrible. read more

Tulum offers spectacular Mexican fare. The carnitas were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The crab enchiladas were tasty. All of the homemade salsas were flavorful and a great accompaniment to chips or an entree. Make sure to try the cafe de olla, which is one of the best coffee drinks we've had: the cinnamon was not overpowering and you can taste a nice hint of orange peel. Their service was incredibly attentive and the ambiance was nice for a restaurant situated in the shadow of Disneyland. There was plenty of parking for lunch. read more

We were heading to LAX for a flight and wanted something better than fast food. After reading the reviews, we decided on Tulum OC. Our server, Lauren, was fantastic. Friendly and attentive. The restaurant had many larger groups at various tables when we arrived but it was never noisy or felt crowded. The shrimp were covered in a butter garlic sauce and the steak was a delivered medium rare as requested. My favorite item that set Tulum OC apart in my opinion was free! I was looking for a place that had either mimosa flights or margarita flights and Tulum popped up. Their brunch menu looked good enough to try. Our server was amazing! Didnt get his name but he was very attentive and made sure we were happy. It was semi busy with 2 servers and we never felt like we were looking/waiting for someone to get water or extea salsa. I love that they give free chips and salsa. Their chips were nice and warm. I could have just had their chips and margaritas lol. They had 2 different salsa. I really enjoyed the green one. We ended up with the steak and eggs and the lobster enchiladas. I honestly didnt know what to expect but the food was flavorful and delish. The steak was a little chewy but we still enjoyed it. (Who doesn't love a bottomless mimosa place and at that price!) We were greeted by Rene (the manager) who let us choose our table. Right away Leonardo showed up and introduced himself as our waiter. Very polite and on point with everything. We each ordered the bottomless mimosas and were happy to see that they are not premixed! They bring it to your table chilled in a champagne bucket, and the bottles just kept coming! 10/10! We ordered the "Birriaquiles" which were so savory and just the right amount Also the Montecristo sandwich which was heaven in my mouth! My wife and I stopped in for lunch recently, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. I ordered my steak medium, but it was served overly well done. While I chose not to send it back, it was clearly not prepared as requested. My wife ordered the Tulum Breakfast Plate, and it arrived without the sausage. When we brought this to the server's attention, he told us he was already aware. It was concerning that this was never communicated to us beforehand. Instead, he brought bacon to the table without asking if that substitution would be acceptable. When we explained she did not want additional bacon, he simply took it back without offering any further solution. The lack of communication and overall service left a poor impression, and the food quality did not make up for it. Based on this visit, we would not return. read more

I visited this restaurant for the first time, and it was quite appealing both outside and inside. The waitress was friendly, and I ordered the chilaquiles verdes de lengua. Unfortunately, my experience took a turn for the worse when I discovered a mosquito-like insect in my dish while eating. Given my sensitive stomach, this was especially distressing. I immediately informed the waitress, who apologized and explained that they've been dealing with mosquito issues due to the real plants inside. She offered to remake my dish, but by then, my appetite was gone. Additionally, I noticed a 30% discount on the receipt, yet they still charged me for the food with the mosquito that I couldn't eat, which I find very unprofessional for a high-end restaurant. Had a belated birthday celebration with friends last night. Our server, Pedro was fantastic!!! He deserves 5 stars alone! Gave the location 4 stars, since it does seem like there are a few things they still need to figure out to. Fairly new open (with the last 4 months). Came in for a little date night on a Saturday evening. The whole staff was friendly and accommodating, always quick to refill drinks or clear empty plates. We started off with some delicious and spicy oysters which were topped with a shrimp! We also had to try the Chori-brussels which are flash fried Brussels sprouts with chorizo, balsamic reduction, and Oaxacan cheese. For drinks we got a Santo Dia, a whiskey based cocktail with watermelon, lime, and fizz served over ice. We also ordered the Spicy margarita which had watermelon habanero, lime, and hibiscus flavors. They were both delicious and refreshing, the spicy marg had a good kick to it. For dinner we got a caesar salad, the ribeye plate, and the Urbana burger. We both loved the dressing on the caesar, it's made in house and it shows. The ribeye was cooked perfectly with a delicious herb butter on top, a really good steak sauce on the side, and thick cut fries. The ribeye wasn't the highest quality but it tasted good, the fries were perfect. My fiancé got the burger which had chorizo, melted queso Oaxaca, and an egg on top. Not gonna lie it was absolutely delish! I want to come back just for the burger. All in all we had a great time and I would definitely come back for some other menu items, especially to try more of their margs and specialty cocktails. Thanks Urbana!

My sister actually drove past the valet and parked the car herself. She handed them the key, in case they need to move the vehicle. The restaurant is small inside and is perfect for a small gathering of friends and family. They have cute areas for photo ops that people like to post on social media. They make use of the space by organizing the layout to accommodate up to maybe 50 guests in total. It's also a bit dark inside as the window shades prohibit a lot of natural light from shining through. The menu consists of traditional Mexican dishes. My niece and I ordered the shrimp. The rest of our family ordered enchiladas. The food didn't take long to arrive and the presentation was great. The serving size for the shrimp was pretty generous. It was flavored with a lemony garlic sauce that was quite tasty. The beans were light and didn't taste like they came from a can. My niece ordered the spicy version of the shrimp plate and said that it wasn't too spicy, but it was good. Our server was very attentive and checked on us often. I appreciate the fact that he made sure that I didn't have any guacamole on my plate since I'm allergic to avocado. Many restaurants still bring out my meal with avocado despite me informing them about my allergies. Our server definitely took great care of us! The only downside of Jardin's is the valet parking issue. We don't like having other people park our car as they could ding/scratch it or they might go through the vehicle.
