Had pizza from Tumby's and as usually it was delicious. We had a pepperoni and jalapeño, which was a lot spicier than I expected. Regardless of the heat, it was still good. We also had an extra cheese and pepperoni. Something mild for the kids. They loved it and so did I. Tumby's has always been pretty consistently good no matter which location I go to. This location in Gardena is very new to me. I did not realize it was so close to me. The location is a bit rough, visually but the staff was kind and the food was good. Would definitely recommend. I first tried Tumby's a few years ago at their Long Beach location. They unfortunately closed around 2016ish and I remember having the fondest memories of their pizza. For less than $13 you could score a large pepperoni pizza with 12 slices. The affordability and quality of pizza made this place our go-to pizza joint for a few years until they had closed. I finally had the chance to visit their Gardena location and here's my verdict: Our pick-up order consisted of 2 large pizzas; one deluxe and one pepperoni. The owner was also kind enough to throw in a free 2 liter soda. The pizza's were hot and fresh upon receiving them. However once we got back home I didn't really know how to feel after my first few bites. I guess you could say I was sort of underwhelmed. The pizza was lacking sauce and cheese which made it a little dry. I just don't remember the pizza tasting so... average. Overall, I don't see myself returning but I'll always miss the version of Tumby's that I had at their LB location. read more

I have ordered from this place for years. To the point where you yourself know your order by heart. The last 3x times I have paid for extra ranch and have been getting jipped. I have paid all 3 times extra ranch, I'm not a monster. I just called and the dude on the phone said that it will be 1 hour or 2 for my ranch! He also said he would be happy to give it to me if I pick it up!! What's the point of delivering if I have to go get get??? I ordered delivery online. 1 extra large, thin crust with pepperoni, bacon, jalapeños, mushrooms and an order of lemon pepper wings. I ordered from one of the western locations totally forgetting that I had the Rosecrans location way closer to me. I immediately called the number on yelp and it was the location on Manchester near the airport. I told the girl my dilemma and she immediately started helping me and trying to track down my order, she found it and was able to transfer it to the Rosecrans location. I called the Rosecrans location and verified they had received my order, they confirmed. About 40 minutes later it was delivered but the pizza was wrong. It was regular crust, pepperoni, jalapeños, pineapple and bacon. I called and spoke to the gentleman who apologized and even though they were already closed remade the pizza and sent it out for delivery again. He said to keep the first pizza as well. I am way overdue for this review. First, I have only experienced this location, food is always fresh, flavor on point. Great pizza topping selections and quality customer service. My mom and my fiance are the carnivores and had the meaty pepperoni, sausage, and garlic. They liked it and had no complaints. As for the wings, they are little ones. Fiance said he could have done without these wings. Mom is a wings fan though. Uber Eats did their thing and the order got here timely. All was packaged well and safely covered. Crust was tasteless, pizza wasn't very cheesy, sauce was zesty, toppings were fine, price was really good as they have lots of specials, but in the end, I thought it was a waste of money and waste of stomach space. I thought with multiple locations with 4 star ratings at all, that I could trust yelp on this one, but I was wrong. My kids are sick and I wanted to order ahead using the Dining Advantage by Entertainment Coupon I'd redeemed through a T-Mobile Tuesdays offer. The coupon reads: "Enjoy one free pizza when a second pizza of equal or greater value us purchased." First off, most coupons similar to this "bogo" offer are buy one get one of equal or lesser value, not greater, so the whole wording of the offer is odd regardless. However, Just like Jesse, I called and they tried first to tell me that the free pizza is a specific one topping pizza size. I asked for the manager and eventually was transferred to Victor who told me he was the manager and they never promoted those coupons, let alone digital coupons. I said, "oh, so they're just promoting your business for free?". He said they've lost a lot of money on those coupons, suggesting he knew about them and at one time was accepting them. So obviously the guy just contradicted himself. Then when I retort, he continues to talk over me, because, well, he didn't like logical responses. When it comes down to it, the owners of Tumby's Pizza made an agreement with Dining Advantage by Entertainment to promote their business via coupon offers, and when they decided to go back on that agreement, they left unsuspecting potential customers holding the bag. That's called bait and switch! It's illegal actually, and for those who know what that means, here come Weights and Measures! DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS HERE!
