This was the wrong pizza they sent but let us keep and sent the correct one after.
    Marisol R.

I ordered delivery online. 1 extra large, thin crust with pepperoni, bacon, jalapeños, mushrooms and an order of lemon pepper wings. I ordered from one of the western locations totally forgetting that I had the Rosecrans location way closer to me. I immediately called the number on yelp and it was the location on Manchester near the airport. I told the girl my dilemma and she immediately started helping me and trying to track down my order, she found it and was able to transfer it to the Rosecrans location. I called the Rosecrans location and verified they had received my order, they confirmed. About 40 minutes later it was delivered but the pizza was wrong. It was regular crust, pepperoni, jalapeños, pineapple and bacon. I called and spoke to the gentleman who apologized and even though they were already closed remade the pizza and sent it out for delivery again. He said to keep the first pizza as well. Tumby's has always been one of our favorites no matter what location we have ordered from, great customer service is the cherry on top!

I was in the area and was looking for a good pizza spot on yelp and I found Tumbys! Someone in the reviews said to add garlic as a topping to give the pizza a really good flavor and that was seriously the way to go!! Not to mention, this was one of the best prices for an XL pizza in the area.

Located in the strip mall next to Starz (or what was Starz Strip Club) The food is freshhhh and although the outside is not so attractive. They make up for it with the taste of the food. Service is okay, I usually come for the food but everyone is nice enough. If in the area and wanting to try some fresh pizza, stop by and grab a pie!

I just moved to Lawndale and was on the hunt for a new go-to pizza place and I'm so happy I tried Tumby's! The pizza was exactly what I was hoping for, and arrived still pipping hot. Adding garlic as one of the toppings made it even more delicious. Definitely would recommend, and will be ordering from again

Somebody was celebrating graduations, there was birthdays there was a baseball team overall just a really busy restaurant. Nothing notable about the ambience overall just comfortable place for a very, just like family, friendly Restaurant vibe. I have the burrata caprese and I think it could use more balsamic I mean burrata is burrata so it was fantastic. The tiny tomatoes throw me off a little bit for but like in general everything was delicious.. My friend ordered the lasagna which I was a little bit envious of after I saw it. It's a huge portion and it's absolutely fantastic.. I had the night special, which is chicken piccata, which was overall very lovely buttery lemon and tangy could've used a little bit more pasta, and the broccoli was cooked really well in general lovely. We share the tiramisu for dessert and I really can't complain. I think it could've been a little bit more punchy when it came to the coffee in the rum, but it was still really good. And General service was great. They were really busy so it wasn't anything too frequently and the manager or the owner checked in on the tables and I'm happy that we went here..

We started with cocktails. I had the Mary Sue ("Pornstar Martini") with vodka, vanilla, passionfruit, salted lime, fino sherry, and champagne foam. YUM. Dangerously good. My husband had the Rob Gentile, an elevated Old Fashioned, and was thoroughly impressed. Service was great, and the food was top-notch. Let's dive in! Meatballs with beef, pork, ricotta, potato purée, tomato sauce, Grana Padano, and arugula--WOW. Cheesy, saucy perfection. Beef Tartare with tonnato, shallot, marjoram, crispy potato, and toast. Delicious and a generous portion. I ordered Coop's Pork Shank with Lambrusco-mustard glaze, aromatic jus, and potato purée. Tender, flavorful, and that broth was incredible. It paired perfectly with the broccolini... ...which we didn't order. We spotted the table next to us enjoying it with burrata and immediately added it to our "next time" list. My son ordered the Chicken Parm with capellini. He loved the huge chicken parm portion, which successfully fed his bottomless teenage appetite, but declared the pasta "too eggy." Teenagers are basically unpaid Michelin critics. My husband ordered the Scarpinocc with braised beef cheek, brown butter, sage, and saba. He loved it, but our resident food critic chimed in with, "I don't really taste the beef." Dessert was the cinnamon bread pudding with ice cream and caramel drizzle--absolutely worth saving room for. Everything was delicious, portions were generous, and we left happy (and full enough to feed a small submarine crew). Definitely coming back!

The pasta tasted exceptionally fresh and was cooked perfectly al dente. The service was friendly, efficient, and attentive, which made the meal even more enjoyable. I especially appreciated the staff taking the time to explain the lunch specials that weren't listed on the menu. The restaurant itself is bright, welcoming, and filled with natural light, creating a cheerful atmosphere. I could easily see it serving as a great low-key dinner destination as well. UPDATE! We came…read moreback about a month later to celebrate Hubbers' birthday, but the experience wasn't the same. I'm guessing since they're coming to a permanent closure, it only makes sense that the quality of the experience (food and service) had began to going down. We were seated immediately, so we were off to a good start. It took a bit of time for Daniel (yep! We got the same server from the last time) to come around and get our orders. It wasn't too bad since the wait gave us the opp to decide on apps and mains, so we got to put all our orders in at once. CALAMARI: Battered thin and crispy. Dash of lemon juice made it better. Quality? Yes. Quantity? Not so much. I thought it was pricey for the amount we got. PEPPERCORN POLPETTINE: Meatballs in cream sauce. Even with the whole peppercorns, the sauce was good. The meatballs, however, didn't taste or look homemade at all. (I recently made frozen meatball soup at home and the meatball's flavor was pretty much similar.) So.. meh... BRUSCHETTA ALLA CHECCA: This was the best app out of the three. Crostini was perfect and the toppings were all perfectly balanced. SPAGHETTI AI NERO DI SEPPIA: Looked great, but lacked flavor. Asked for fresh grated cheese and added black pepper which helped a little, but still missing something... Hubbers got the linguine pesca mare which he loved (he emptied his plate!) So I guess that says a lot. And I'm really glad he liked it, being his birthday and all. He also chose crème brûlée to finish off his birthday treat. (No, they didn't comp it - which is fine, and I don't expect them - or any business - to, even more since they are shutting down. I understand they need all the profit they can get.) Overall a little less stellar than the first visit. I'll admit I was a teenee bit disappointed since we had an amazing experience the first time. All the same, I'm still glad of the experience and wish them well on their future endeavors!
