Very fun space with a spin on southern food. I had the Nashville fried chicken with Mac n cheese waffles (spice on the side). Only complaint about this restaurant is some of the poor design choices. As an average sized person, I had a hard time scooting in/out of the booth since the clearance between the bench and table was so narrow. We also were seated directly under a fan with ceiling lights above it, creating a flicker effect that gave us all a headache by the end of the dinner. This flickering is apparent throughout the restaurant due to poor choices in lighting and fan placement. Since all the fans are connected by a pulley system, you wouldn't be able to turn the individual fans that are causing a flicker off. read more

The staff, atmosphere and area awe awesome. This restaurant is in such a cute upscale area it's across from a town green where people were sitting and watching movies. Our waitress was very attentive and had a great personality. We sat outside on the patio and it was plenty roomy for the five of us. The queen Mary bloody Mary was so yummy could be an appetizer! Our food was all piping hot and served together everything we ordered was phenomenal. Just an fyi parking is limited and you may need to walk a block or two but it's a nice walk. Visited this restaurant while in Myrtle Beach and so happy we stumbled on to it. I liked that it is not in the area of all of the entertainment but in a more quiet area but there is other restaurants and shops nearby. This cute spot has an outside patio, a full bar and inside country kitchen look. The service was good, the drinks were great and the food was amazing. If I could have ordered one of everything on the menu I would have but instead I got the honey fried chicken, collard greens with a side of fried shrimp(which is not on the menu but you can request them fried or grilled for a few extra dollars). I'm sure all else may be good, but all I had was the Asheville "Hot" Chicken. I let the server know that I like it spicy and she said that it wasn't. I should've listened and tried something else. I could've saved myself at least $8 bucks going to Popeyes. Fries were decent. Either way, the chicken was VERY dry. I pulled off a piece of the crispy part, and it had grill marks on the breast itself, but I can't imagine grilling the breast and then putting it in batter and deep frying it because that's not right, but that would explain its relation to a Hockey Puck. I informed my server that I wasted my ketchup but she did not do anything to clean it up so this caused a lot of flies to land on my food and I lost my appetite. Loved the location in Asheville and saw this was right around the corner from where we are staying in Myrtle Beach. The staff was laid back and personable, everything came out perfectly timed. The peach sangria was refreshing, and the food was fresh and delicious. My son ate allill of his steak and eggs, my husband loved the chicken BLT, and my fried chicken and broccolini was excellent. While vacationing in Myrtle Beach locals suggested Tupelo Honey for brunch. It is in a nice location with street parking, pet friendly patio, and a good place for brunch and happy hour. Apparently we missed the morning rushed because many of the tables were dirty and stations not thoroughly cleaned. Despite my better judgment we decided to dine in and order. Southern Hospitality Megamosa and Southwestern Omelette with a side of potatoes. The omelette was ok, it lacked seasoning and the potatoes were slightly burnt. I had to try the Waffle, fried boneless chicken, Mac n' cheese, honey siracha sauce, maple syrup, pickles dish!!!! Outrageous. Never had any dish with so many flavors that all go together fantastically!!! I would order this over and over again. My husband had the shrimp, andouille sausage and creamy cheesy grits dish!! I've never heard of Tupelo Honey, but apparently it's a chain. I would definitely like one to open closer to home (right now Arlington, VA is the closest). I didn't give it five stars because I think the aesthetics and descriptions of the menu raised my expectations, and the taste didn't quite measure up; at least for the menu items I ordered. This particular location is pretty vast. It has three distinct eating areas: an outdoor patio and two separated indoor dining rooms; one with access to televisions, and the other more 'private'. Based on the descriptions, I wanted to try just about everything on the menu. I opted for the Smothered Chicken with potato cracklin's and collared greens. My wife ordered the shrimp & grits, and my sons chose a fried chicken kids meal. Overall, menu items were creatively curated. Food was good. Don't get me wrong. Loved the lavender lemonade but my sriracha pork dish (can't remember the name) left a bit to be desired. My boyfriend's food was delicious, so I'd say you should just make sure to explore the menu a bit before ordering. There were gluten-free offerings, which I always look for, and even though we arrived about an hour before closing, our service was still kind. There were families seated near us, so I'd say the vibe is friendly and familiar, but there are still some cute instagrammable decorations up. read more

This was a great find. Very fresh food, plenty of healthy selections. I posted a picture of the blueberry waffle and the meatloaf dinner. We really enjoyed both! Inside is pretty cool. You can go to the bar and they have a few quality televisions. The dining room is comfortable and decorative. They also have a patio that is pet friendly. This is a great spot for breakfast or lunch. We actually went for dinner and we felt like the dinner menu was a little bit scarce, which is why I had to get creative and order the blueberry waffle. But I'm not disappointed! It was great. Lovely spot! I came here for brunch with my bf for indoor dining. It felt safe and spacious. We ended up ordering sweet potato pancakes, fried chicken and biscuits, and the fit to be tied pickled & fried eggs benedict. Both the fried chicken and eggs benny dish were very decent. I wouldn't recommend the eggs benny dish if you don't like fried foods because they give a big portion of it. I opted to have a fried green tomato under my eggs instead of a biscuit and I thought it paired very well. The standout were the sweet potato pancakes. Definitely do not pass up on this! They were delicious. Our waiter was very attentive and gave endless refills of coffee. I highly recommend this spot if you're around the area! The restaurant was very busy and even though we ordered the food 45 minutes in advance from our drive back from Georgetown, we still had about a 30 minute wait upon arrival. Omg. This was my favorite restaurant in a real long time. We made reservations for brunch at noon. Started with a few fun cocktails and apps (the best fried pickles with garlic buttermilk ranch and fried green tomatoes over heirloom grits with goat cheese and red pepper sauce).
