Guess who became a tourist for a day?! I've never actually walked through Hollywood Blvd because I hate driving in LA. But I somehow found the courage to sit in traffic and do touristy things today lol. Parking: Good luck finding a spot! You can try to get lucky with metered street parking. There were a few paid public parking structures, so I just parked in that. Ambiance/Environment: This spot was conveniently located in the heart of Hollywood's Walk of Fame. It was really hard to miss its big sign and vibrant colors. There is no indoor or outdoor seating. They have a small space, so it can get a bit tight. Service: Shout out to Anastasia and Alina! They were by themselves for a while, but they were quick & efficient! What we ordered: My bf and I only got desserts! We'll have to come back to try their drinks w/ CBD! 1) Ferrero French Crepe - Wow this was absolutely chocolatey! They weren't messing around with the Ferrero! The crepe was soft and cooked well. 2) Minnie Macarons - So cute & aesthetic! The vanilla ice cream tasted as expected. The chimney cake was dusted with a generous amount of cinnamon. I really enjoyed this part. The macarons were frozen but delicious. Pricing: This is LA, so of course it's expensive. Get use to these prices lol!
First time visiting and service was quick and the dole pineapple was so good. Nice, clean and casual. Ambience is party like. Great variety of items available. I recommend trying it out. Will come back again when in the area.
Great for photos but the taste was just ok. The price was a bit high but that's understandable on Hollywood. They made every dough fresh so it would take about 6-7 minutes to bake. The dough was nice and warm! It feels great just to hold it! I don't recommend getting the best seller ones because they only look nice and that's it. If I were to do it again I would choose the ingredients that I wanted to eat, like fruits or oreo. The soft serve was nice though. Service was great and the shop is very photogenic. One annoying thing is that there are people smoking right outside of the shop. It's no one's fault but I just find it unpleasant to eat amongst smoke smell that I didn't like.
Stopped here with the hubby to pick up some things sweet. I ordered the strawberry banana crêpe and he got churro ice cream. Prices are a little steep, but keep in mind, You are on Hollywood Boulevard where there's tons of tourist attractions. My crap was about $16. we placed our order in and they gave us a buzzer. It was done pretty quickly and we were able to enjoy our snack. I'm telling you right now. Parking can be a headache around here. We got really lucky and we found parking around the corner off the main strip with no issues. That will definitely not always be the case though. Tons of foot traffic though.
Its just fun nothing special, very overpriced too, tastes just okay. Wait time was aprox 10 min freshly made dough
I visited Holloywood last weekend and tried this place. They make the chimney cake cone fresh to order, and used them as ice cream cones. The chimney cake itself was fantastic- fresh, soft and with the perfect level of sweetness. We got the smores ice cream. It was very fun to watch them to make the smores and the chimney cake and taste so good! We also got their strawberry banana crepes, also cooked fresh to order and it's filled with freshly cute fruit, drizzled with chocalate sauce. Both desserts are 10/10. The prices are reasonable, especially this is in Hollywood and they use healthy ingredients like grass-fed milk. It's definitely worth it. The shop is right on famous Hollywood Blvd, prepare extra time to find parking, street parking or parking lots. I will definitely come back for their dessert next time when I visit Hollywood. They also have some good none-dairy treats that look really refreshing, will check it out next time.
Turn Dough is located along Hollywood Blvd Walk of Fame. I like Turn Dough because it is a 2-for-1 dessert experience if you get the chimney cake cone. You get the ice cream and toppings of your choice and the delicious chimney cake cone. To be honest, the chimney cake is the best part of that experience. Of course the ice cream is good, however, the chimney cake is the feature and star of the show. There is a wide variety of ice cream flavors, toppings, and combinations to choose from. You can order milkshakes, crepes, waffle bowls, gelato, and of course, ice cream chimney cakes. The customer service is OK, however, there is no speed in their service. Perhaps because they are working nonstop and pace themselves throughout the day as tourist foot traffic is non-stop. I visited a couple time during the day and again at night and the speed of order taking and order fulfillment was so nonchalant. The inside of the store is small and would be appropriate for a small town, however, the inside is too small and inappropriate for a novelty ice cream shop in the heart of the Hollywood Walk of Fame that sees thousands of tourists and locals each and every day. Coupled with the slow service and you can understand why the inside of the store gets incredibly packed even on a weeknight. Plan accordingly. Overall a good experience. Give them a try.
The dough tasted amazing! really good. Prices are high but you could split something because the sizes were large. Cost about $55 for three items...Granted we got the Dubai desserts so those are more pricey. There was nowhere really to sit and enjoy eating your dessert, that was kind of a bummer. Workers are very nice and good customer service.
We found this place from social media . My husband brought me here for my birthday . Parking is not easy to find but luckily we got a spot on the street . The store is small but super cute ! When we got there, there was a short line but went pretty quick. We ordered the birthday cone (upside down). It was fresh when we got it and came with a candle and matches ! So cute !! We were able to take it to-go cuz we had a cup and ate it on the drive home. It was really yummy and we def recommend coming here!! I wanna try the crepe next time !

Come with me to this cool ice cream and crepe place! I tried: 1. Strawberry banana crepes - with Nutella Crepe is made fresh with their secret in-house mix. Fruits are so good and definitely love the Nutella sauce. This store is pretty and a good stop on Hollywood Boulevard. I'll come back to try their yummy ice creams!
Magically delicious, there was a huge menu and everything was delicious and magically not too rich
Was craving something sweet so we decided to check this place out as we're checking out some nearby attractions. It's a pretty small place. You order at the counter and they will tell you to go wait outside, and then call your order. They have over 18 signature soft-serve ice cream cones and a very unique menu, so if you're looking for something aesthetic and tasty, go here.

Just in case you didn't know after you eat a big dinner there always space in your stomach for dessert. Well that's what my friend says anyways. After eating dinner at the Roosevelt hotel good old yelp lead me to this gem I wasn't feeling like ice cream so I got a creep so good! Definitely a lot of entertainment in front while your waiting for your ice cream.It's right next to my favorites Snow White Café too. Try it out you won't be disappointed! read more

Really fun ice cream place right in the middle of Hollywood Blvd with all the crazy mix of people. People that worked there were super nice and patient since it was our first visit. Okay so I heard about this dramatic ice cream shop that serves their ice cream in chimney cakes right in Hollywood & I have to admit, I was pretty intrigued. So I go ahead and make my way down to Hollywood & Highland which is one of the busiest areas in Hollywood, mind you! And of course there was a line outside the door! The place was colorful with flashy lights and just screamed FUN! so I go in and the menu is pretty vast! I ended up trying the milkshake and of course the chimney cake ice cream cones! The staff was so nice as well which is also really important! You'll enjoy plenty of the photo opps when you visit here, but hurry before you're ice cream melts! Spending some time on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? Then make sure you stop by Turn Dough! It'll help you cool down from the heat or help with letting you try something that you can't normally get easily. It'll make your day just that much more memorable, if you ask me! Ordered: *Oreo Milkshake $10.90 *Ferrero $10.90 *Oreo $9.90 *Gold n Kiss $15.90 *Special requests of just their vanilla soft serve with sprinkles and another one with oreo. Both in just a cup. I loved being able to see them make my cone from dough one minute then the next it was a cone. Like I mentioned, the cone is freshly made so its very hot and so when they add in the soft serve and decorate it, it'll melt a little faster than normal. But it doesn't take away from how good the cinnamon cone/ice cream is. The milkshake was also really tasty! If you love milkshakes you won't regret ordering one from here! I love the paintings on the wall. It was very well decorated! Makes for great photos for the gram. Honestly, the only complaint I had was that they needed more staff working. There was only one staff working while I was there and they got pretty busy. Especially since its summertime, I would totally recommend having a second staff available. Listen I have not only waited 3 years to finally get to turn dough(since 2017, visited for the first time in 2021), I've literally been sending everyone I know there. The Hollywood Blvd location is so easy to access, make your order and wait on the stars for them to bring it out to you. I have had a "turndough" cone (think churro but more dough-like) - creamy vanilla soft served ice cream, and your favorite toppings or their fun recipes they've created. I've had a shake- Same soft served ice cream(not milk or if it is milk then it's very little to my understanding), fun creations and mixings to choose from. And the AAAAHMAZING NEW double shot espresso- which of course I had to add my "PBQ" dazzle to it; I requested 24k toppings, because I wanted an espresso fit for a Queen and they definitely made it happen. 24K espresso topped with creamy soft served ice cream. 10/10 it was the perfect balance of espresso and sweet cream, I sipped all the way down the Blvd and felt so Hollywood . The 24k toppings were a nice touch for sure!!! #PBQstyle BRAVO btw Whatever your choice chocolate, fruity, turndough cone, Shake or Espresso; you're in for a real treat when you stop in to cool off and treat yourSelf to some delectable Turndough treats. Now I'm off to see how I can add some more PBQ flava to my fave ice cream spot in Hollywood. read more

What a great spot to indulge and have your sweet cravings satisfied! I love that their Chimney Cones are always freshly baked when you order, and they have lots of mouthwatering flavors to choose from. They also have crepe, dole whip, and milk shake. I also love the fact that they use the best ingredients in making their desserts. I personally really enjoyed their Coconut Rafaello with Chimney Cone, and their Oreo Crepes. I'm already craving again as I type this review. The staff were so accommodating and friendly as well. We had such a fun time here! read more

Short Wait Time 5/5 Ambience 5/5 Ice cream 5/5 Shakes 5/5 Service 5/5 Stopped in & check this place out! The shakes are really good & the Soft serve is always a good base to please everyone... I chose the Resse's Pieces option & it was so good without being overly sweet. The Churro cone made it so tasty to bite into when finishing, I paid $13 which is pretty much what I would pay for Rolled ice cream handmade as well so I was happy & you're paying for Quality! Thoroughly enjoyed my matcha milkshake! It looked just as advertised! Really liked the homemade whipped cream. The service was great and my milkshake was ready in under 2 minutes. The only thing that sucks here would be the parking. But that's obvious as it is located on Hollywood Blvd. Luckily I scored a metered spot around the corner, otherwise I really don't know what I would have done. read more

I had an amazing experience at this ice cream place! Their were too many delicious, exciting flavors to choose from!!! They have the best service ever. The minute i walked in the girl behind the counter greeted me and helped me to choose toppings and flavors since it was my first time here. So i got 2 different flavors one for myself and the other one for my friend! I chose the s'mores flavor that came with a huge toasted marshmallow on top and my friend had the Oreo flavor with chocolate brownies on top. The overall experience was AMAZING! The staff were very nice all of them. Thanks to all those ladies behind the counter plus the gentleman who i think was the manager! Yes! Definitely try this place. The cones are freshly made to order!!!! Doesn't get better than that! I got the brownie chimney cake and it was delicious! It comes with Nutella inside the cone, which adds even more flavor to this ice cream delight! It is more than enough ice cream, but you might not want to share as it is so yummy and you might want it all to yourself. So if you're in the area or even down for a ride, I totally recommend for you to get yourself out here and try one or as many as you want! read more

Amazing choices, everything is equally as delicious and I have been there multiples times and will always come back. The cones taste like my home town Prague and paired with gelato and toppings it was incredible. Solid 9/10. The service was good, they took cash and card and did split payment. Its a cute shop, I think the owner was there as well with a lady employee. The service was good. We ordered a hot chocolate & brownie chimney cake. Both were good. We were happy that the hot chocolate did not taste like the packet ones. The brownie chimney cake was goodd. Will definitely come again to try more. read more

I do want to give 4.5 stars. The cone is very yummy. Cinnamon dough is light and delicious. Ice cream is creamy and not too swert. Service is great. The only down part is price. Due to location, price is normally higher than other areas. But more than $10 for a ice cream cone, still a bit bloody Definitely worth a try if you haven't had any dough cone ice cream before. read more

It did not wow me but it was a fun experience. Check them Out when you are in the Hollywood area and make sure to go in with a face covering and social distancing. Cones made FRESH for every order. We had the Oreo, the Ferrer Rocher, the brownie, and the most spectacular of all, the S'mores... a freaking MASTERPIECE! This place has so many options and the aesthetic is so cute! We tried the Minnie Macarons and the Honey Pistachio cone. The best part was that the churro/chimney cone was still warm and tasted perfect with the cold ice cream! You can see the staff making them in store. The staff was super friendly and the service was fast despite it being quite busy. It's a perfect place to stop by during the summer when you are visiting Hollywood. read more

OMG, that dough and ice cream is AMAZING! I had one once in Prague but it was just the dough. With the ice cream and toppings is sooo much better. I got the Nutella one and my husband got the S'mores. Both were fantastic. The staff is super friendly and they do everything in front of you. They have really cool panels there too for photos. Every time I make a trip to the Los Angeles area, stopping by Turn Dough is a MUST! I live in Phoenix, so we don't have anything like it here. The ice cream and chimney cakes are absolutely delicious. Anytime you're on Hollywood Blvd or cruising through Venice Beach, I'd recommend you pay a visit! Such a unique place! read more

Got the Biscoff Cookie Butter Chimney Cone and the Matcha Kit Kat Chimney Cone Both were incredible! All of the menu selections are vanilla ice cream and the differences are the toppings. The owner David was the nicest and the staff as well! He was telling me how he was from Europe and doesn't like how many desserts are overly sweet and I completely agree!! They make their dough fresh in-house every morning and use simple ingredients for their ice cream: Australian milk and vanilla bean! It had a fresh milky flavor without being super sweet like other soft serves. The hot chimney cone itself held up very well with the melting ice cream and it didn't get soggy! Caution: it does melt very quickly and can get messy because the cone is nice and hot.
