    Two Lemon Blueberry Pancakes
    Stephanie S.

First things first: plenty of free parking in the lot. We checked in online then went to the hostess station to let them know we were there. There was about a 20 minute wait once we got there which was fine and expected. There wasn't a terribly large waiting area inside and out of the heat but we managed to stay out of the way until a bench opened up for us to wait. Our waitress Brittany was so lovely and welcoming. I ordered the lemon blueberry pancakes with an iced coffee and my husband got the basic skillet with a regular coffee. My only complaint is that the syrup didn't come out with the pancakes and I had to wait a bit before I could flag down someone to grab a syrup. That said, they brought me out a warm syrup dispenser from the kitchen so all was forgiven. We paid with a gift card I got for Christmas 2 years ago and I think it didn't read properly when swiped so Brittany had to manually type in the numbers. Otherwise, we had a lovely breakfast and will definitely return!

Had the time today to finally stop in. Glad I dont judge a book by its cover bc there's nothing spectacular on the outside nor the location that would make you want to step inside. The staff was super nice and attentive (s/o to Rachel D). Explained the menu well. Also let me know abt the free membership to get discounts. The seating area is set up like a communal area. There is also a bar, tables and outdoor seating. I sat at the bar and watched them make drinks and premium coffee with a nice fancy machine. The dish I had was good. Eggs poached perfectly. I had a side of grits, a lil too creamy for me. I like my grits with grit. Besides needing a lil salt and a lil hot sauce, the food tastes great and is presented on the plate well. Decent prices for decent portions.

I struggled to give this a rating -four stars because the place was nice atmosphere --the staff was super--attentive and friendly --the food looks and presentation were appealing and enticing --but --the cinnamon rolls while freshly made and hot really had no flavor -less than pillsbury--the house French press coffee tasted like Ihop. The bacon was good and the potatoes so so (no spice). So what should we do: we'll give it a three with a promise to come back and try again.

We just discovered this place and can not believe we have missed out because they have been there for a year! So impressed from the time you walk in, the greeting we received would define the experience we had! Our servers name was Lilia and she was so helpful with the best recommendations. The food was DELICIOUS and cooked perfectly! The drinks were AMAZING! The fresh juice choices and the coffee choices were never ending! The prices were reasonable! We can't wait to go back! We were so impressed!

    Shakshuka with ciabatta bread

I joined the Turning Point Perks program and received a birthday reward of $15. So unexpectedly generous! I went for breakfast with a friend. She had the avocado toast with eggs. It was a nice portion size, and she thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I ordered the shakshuka, which is a new item on the menu. It's made with poached eggs and a spicy tomato sauce. The dish comes with plenty of toasted ciabatta bread for dipping. I was a bit disappointed because the tomato sauce was thinner than I would have liked. And the egg had a runny yolk. While this is a common way to poach an egg, I prefer to have a solid yolk. All shakshuka entrees that I've ever eaten had a solid yolk. I suggest that Turning Point servers ask their guests how well done they'd like the egg to be cooked to avoid disappointment. The server was very pleasant and attentive. We enjoyed our breakfast, and I fully appreciate the nice Perks program.

    House cold brew

Came to Turning Point on a Saturday around 2pm and it was crowded! I needed to see what all the hype was about. Despite it being busy, we didnt have to wait at all, which was nice. However, there were a lot of people sitting outside because we had really nice weather that day, in the summer months, I can probably see there being a bit of a wait time assuming business stays the same. We ordered a house cold brew, soft drink, warm cinnamon rolls, avocado smash benedict and breakfast combo. Despite our waitress advising that she would have to check to see if there were any cinnamon rolls left because it was later on in the day, they did end up having some and they came out really fast. Unfortunately, I would not order them again, they were still very doughy, certainly a bit underdone, and the cream cheese frosting was just okay, but they do give you a good amount. The good news is that they were only $8.95. So I'm certainly not upset about the price. The avocado smash benedict was very good, the bacon was thick and crispy, the Hollandaise sauce didn't taste too heavy, the eggs were poached beautifully, and the potatoes were seasoned perfectly. The breakfast combo was also nice. A good variety. Two fluffy pancakes, eggs and the same potatoes (we opted for no meat). All in all, it was just a decent, run-of-the-mill breakfast. I'm dying to go back, but the service was really nice, and the restaurant is spacious and clean. While the cinnamon rolls were pretty cheap, each of our dishes were almost $16 which seems pretty steep for what seems to be typical diner food. For the appetizer, two entrees, coffee and soft drink we spent about $50. I don't think I'd come back on my own accord, but if someone invited me I would definitely go.

Came here today for breakfast for my moms birthday I just the waitlist online before arriving so we were promptly seated on arrival. We all got coffee which was delicious and the food was tasty and hot when it came out. Our server was also very kind. I'm just taking off a star since we told the server prior to ordering we are celebrating my moms dinner and based on other reviews they usually give a birthday dessert but that was not our experience unfortunately. That did leave a bad taste in my mouth honestly.

I recently placed a takeout order here while in the area and was pleasantly surprised! Ordering on their website was quick and easy, and I loved that the menu had photos ,definitely a plus. My food was ready in about 25 minutes. The restaurant itself is tucked in a plaza with plenty of parking. When I walked in, the space felt nice, quaint, and gave me First Watch vibes. The young lady at the counter was pleasant and welcoming. Now to the important part ,the food! I ordered a build-your-own sandwich: bagel with bacon, egg, cheese, and grilled onions, with potatoes on the side. Everything was fresh and delicious. The potatoes were perfectly seasoned and probably my favorite part of the meal. Overall, I really enjoyed my food and the experience. I'd definitely recommend Turning Point if you're in Boynton Beach looking for a solid breakfast spot.

Had an amazing Birthday breakfast yesterday! Thoroughly enjoyed my cappuccino and smoked salmon Benedict .My husband had super fluffy pancakes with warmed maple syrup that were extra delicious. Our sweet server Rachel D. made it perfect with a huge chocolate chip Birthday cookie. We'll be back soon!

    Welcome to Turning Point restaurant

We had a hankerin' for a nice breakfast and went to Turning Point. This place gets jammed on the weekends (good for them!) even in the summer. Fortunately for us, we visited on a weekday morning and there were plenty of available seats. While I perused the extensive menu trying to decide what to order, my wife already knew she wanted the blueberry lemon pancakes. She had thoroughly enjoyed them on a previous trip. Sadly, I must report that the pancakes weren't quite up to her expectations. While the portion size was hearty and the pancakes were filled with fresh blueberries, the food temperature was just lukewarm. The blueberries scattered around the plate were very cold, as though they just came out of the refrigerator. Perhaps these cold berries were also causing the temperature of the pancakes to be less than optimal. And the pancakes were a little dry, especially around the edges. I had an egg and cheese omelet with a toasted bagel and home fries. The omelet was delicious. The home fries were okay but a bit bland. I added some pepper to perk them up. The server was very nice and readily accommodated my wife's request for additional sugar free syrup. Overall, we enjoyed our meals, but were not as excited about them as we had hoped to be. Will we return? Probably, but maybe not as soon as we might have if our meals were exceptional.

Such a great spot! I'm so glad Turning Point Cafe opened nearby--what a welcome addition to Boynton Beach. The space is a beautiful new build with charming decor and cute coffee mugs that add a cozy touch. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, but this location gets busy! We arrived just before 9 a.m. on a Saturday to treat my parents to breakfast while they were in town. Perfect timing--we beat the morning rush! We were warmly greeted and promptly seated by the friendly staff. Our server was excellent--super helpful and gave us a nice overview of the menu and specials. We started with the Jamaican French press coffee, which was rich, smooth, and absolutely delicious. I ordered the lemon blueberry pancakes (a generous stack of three) topped with warm syrup--so fluffy and flavorful! My mom chose the tropical strawberry waffle, my dad had the Western omelette, and my husband went with a cheddar and mushroom omelette. The omelettes came with home-fried potatoes, and an english muffin, and everything was cooked perfectly. I sampled a bit of everyone's dish, and honestly, it was all so tasty. After the French press, we ordered a regular carafe of coffee, which was also fresh and satisfying. From start to finish, the service and food were both excellent. I'll definitely be back--and highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area!

A birthday card signed by the employees and a giant cookie
    Kim H.

Great service. Cozy-feeling decor and terrific food. The menu is not as broad as First Watch but my crispy bacon was done just right and the home fries were seasoned perfectly. They also allow you to order 1 or 2 French Toast pieces instead of a standard huge plate I would never finish. Took my adult daughter for her birthday and the server brought her a huge chocolate chip cookie and a birthday card! that was hand signed by employees! Who does that anymore? Turning Point just became my new breakfast go-to place.

On top of that, drink refills were infrequent, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. I'd get a soda next time. For someone who loves sweet, I was surprised to ever find "too sweet" in my vocabulary. But I'd definitely come back to try the ribs or the pork. The pastrami sounds intriguing, but they don't always have it and it's not available on a set schedule. I asked about it and was told to call to see if they had it that day. But the lemony collards and beans will definitely be added into my future visit.

First time here. Wow! A visit to Sandwich Man Pizza Too is entering a space where time stands…read morestill. Amazing that this large place is located in a such a prime location on the corner of Atlantic and Congress... they must own the property? The time warp really kicks in when you step inside... a huge open space with formica tables and molded benches... nice enough and super clean, just odd for the area. The ordering area and signage, a blast from the past, reminding me of my canteen at summer camp as a kid. After seeing photos of the chow on Yelp, was dissapointed in my Egg and Cheese Sandwich. It tasted fine enough, but the egg/cheese was skimpy on a large roll. If I knew, would have ordered an extra egg or 2... oh well. If I'm in the area around lunchtime, I will stop by to try one of their subs or a BLT... they look great on Y. I want to love it here!

I'd been wanting to try this place for a while. I bookmarked it after reading a review from fellow…read moreyelp elite, Raymond K. In his review, he mentioned that they had the best BLT here. As this sandwich is a favorite of my husband's, I knew we would have to stop here some time. We were in the area around lunch time and decided to try them. The restaurant sits on a corner in a large separate building with its own parking lot. Inside, it's much bigger than I'd expected. There is an extensive menu painted on the wall. Plus, additional small signs of newer items or specials. You order and pay at the counter, and they call your name when your food is ready. There were quite a few choices of subs and sandwiches plus salads, soups, meals, and sides. It wasn't easy to make a selection as so many things sounded good. My husband wound up getting their BLT on a sub with mayo. There was a ton of crispy bacon on the sandwich along with the lettuce and tomato. I had a bite, and it was excellent! I got their white Russian which was a white meat turkey sub with lettuce and tomato, cheese, and thousand island dressing. The soft Italian bread along with the fillings were delicious. But it was so huge a portion, that I wound up saving half for another meal. This place is definitely a keeper! Thank you to Raymond for bringing it to our attention. So many other things on their menu that I'd like to try in the future.
