Date night with the husband was a success. Tuscanos checked all our boxes: nice place, specialty drinks, and had Thursday Night Football playing. Service: Perfect. We were seated promptly and checked on throughout our meal the appropriate amount of times. Food: We got the Salmon Picatto and Steak meal of some sort. While a little on the spendy side for Monroe, it was worth it. Delicious and had enough for leftover. I think it took about 15 minutes from ordering to eating. Was hoping to find a good Italian place in Monroe. This is definitely not it. This is about the most americanized Italian food you will find anywhere. And it's not executed well. It makes Olive Garden look like a culinary mecca. The minestrone was good. That was a positive. The chicken parm (which in and of itself is very americanized Italian) was greasy and swimming in sauce. Not very good at all. It's a nice facility (left over from Canyons), but it's not a good restaurant. I won't be returning. read more

My husband and I ate at Tuscano's about a month ago and then took friends there a couple of weeks ago. The reason we chose Tuscano's? The food is good, but the staff, especially Jake, are wonderful. We've lived in Monroe for years and have eaten at Tuscano's often, however, due to the pandemic, we hadn't been there in quite a while. About a month ago, we decided to give it a try. Sitting in the bar area, we were quietly talking when all of a sudden we heard this warm, wonderful, booming, welcoming and all around amazing laugh. It was Jake (although, as he wasn't our server, we didn't know his name yet.) His laugh immediately makes you feel happy. It's simply full of joy. We ate our dinner, enjoying the food, but enjoying the atmosphere even more as it was accompanied by Jake's wonderful and frequent laughter. He was greeting a lot of the customers like they were life-long friends, taking care of all his tables often, and you could tell he was enjoying the customers as much as they were enjoying him. A couple of weeks ago, we got together with friends and took them to Toscano's. This time, Jake was our server. From across the room, Jake laughed and immediately, our friends perked up and took notice. They said how wonderful his laugh was. When Jake came over to greet us, he made our entire table feel welcomed, and again, full of joy. His attitude and personality just made our evening all the better. We'll come back just to hear Jake laugh, and will request to sit in his section when we do. The food is consistently good. The lasagna is AMAZING, the dry chicken wings are incredible and the deserts are to die for. Give Tuscano's a try... and ask to be seated in Jake's section, although, if you're lucky, you will get the benefit of this warm and joyous person from anywhere in the restaurant. read more

Pleasantly surprised by our experience at Tuscano's! We've been wanting to come in and dine at the restaurant since having Tuscano's catered at a work party last December. Jake was incredible. The service was perfectly attentive and he suggested some incredible dishes! The stroganoff was to die for along with the shrimp linguine. We spent some time chatting with the manager (she was lovely) who gave us a free app to come back again because it was our first time in. It's a nice change to be in a restaurant with great food AND great service - everyone greeted us with a smile. We look forward to coming back and making this a regular spot!!! read more

I always enjoy eating here and I consider it one of my favorite Italian restaurants. You should try their wings because I've never had such flavorful wings in my entire life! The chicken with capers is one of the top of the really exquisite food choices. Daily and weekly food and drink specials welcome you at the front door. I will admit that the Lemon drop is one of my favorites. Paired with these, the ambiance adds to the eating experience and it definitely makes it the entertainment that it should be. All of the staff including the hosts, management, servers, and the bar staff provide an overall experience that's expected in a high quality restaurant. My friend and I stopped by after our hike yesterday! I heard from my sister that this place was better than Olive Garden. She was right! I loved the decor of the place with the lights and I didn't expect that the place would be so big and modern. I love the little art pieces where we were sitting. In mind, I thought it would be a small family-owned restaurant with checkered tablecloths, I was mistaken! The food was spectacular! I got the spicy sausage ravioli with a side of their garlic bread. They ran of focaccia sadly but the garlic bread was very homemade. The ravioli was great! My friend got the Italian trio and I must say, I'll be getting that next time. An eight-layer lasagna, a seafood cannelloni, and cheese ravioli with pesto sauce. That's certainly a good combo! I docked off a star because the cocktails were not that great. I got the raspberry lemonade and I was expecting a good balance of lemonade and vodka but it was strong with the vodka. Also, the mojitos were okay - not that great. The best spaghetti! And I love the wicked shrimp! The sauce is so good! The walnut-apple salad is good and you can order 1/2 salad. Ordered chicken parmesan and found that my chicken breast was already cut up and when I asked about it they told me that people were complaining that they had to cut up their own chicken so they were doing it for the customers sake but it was kinda convenient for them because they can limit the amount of chicken they put in it basically saving themselves money on chicken. The sauce doesn't taste authentic it tastes like it came out of a jar and on top of that it's really expensive. read more

Thought when you make a reservation for a certain time you should get sat at that time or close. We showed up Friday at 6:25 for a 6:30 reservation. The lady said that she thought we reserved it for 6 people....we did not we only had us which was two. So then she informed us she was gonna see if there was a table for 2 open. She came back a bit later and said there was nothing and it would atleast 20 mins to be seated. If they messed up our reservation they should have put us at the first available table. We left and as we were pulling out I saw a empty table for 4. They could have sat us there. Very disappointed. I get they were busy but we made a reservation....put a bad taste in my mouth and don't think we will be back. read more

We walked in to meet with friends and the owner was up front greeting people as they walked in. It was refreshing. We had calamari for an appetizer, lasagna and cheese cake. It was delicious. Our friends had lobster ravioli and fettuccine alfredo. They enjoyed their meal also. The owner came by the table and we chatted for 5-10 minutes. He seems like a great guy, friendly and amicable. He asked about our family and we told him about our son in boot camp for the army, and he asked us to thank him for his service, and that if he came in with his uniform on in the future, he could have anything on the menu on the house. I give tuscano s a 3 because it can really be hit or miss. One of my favs is saltimobacca, sometimes it can be the most delicious flavorful pasta of your life and other times it's just bland/completely flavorless and just swimming in oil. I've also found the margarita pizza to be lacking in any flavor- yes, I realize that's a simplistic pizza, but I've had really good ones at other places. This has zero flavor, very little cheese, the crust is like cardboard. It could really use a little salt, or whole basil leaves, better quality tomatoes (if you want a good margarita pizza check out the Repp in snohomish!). When they have the prime rib my husband really enjoyed it, but I think it might be seasonal? Some good app suggestions are the focaccia bread and the chicken wings! read more

Recently ate at Tuscano's and it was great! This place is definitely the locals favorite and makes you feel right at home. The manager, Conner, introduced himself and made an effort to say hi to all of his customers. I really enjoyed the strawberry salad, wicked shrimp, and bread pudding. Will be back! read more

We ordered wood fire pizza, ravioli, mozzarella, and tiramisu. It was honestly on par or slightly below Olive Garden. The "woodfire" pizza crust definitely came from frozen. Tiramisu also tasted like it came from frozen. The ravioli was ok, but I added some veggies and you could tell they were really fresh so that was nice! The fried mozzarella was good. read more

After living in the area for the past 8 years, I'm ashamed to admit we're finally giving this place a try. We ordered their pizza meal option, which includes 2 pizzas, a big caesar, and some of their wings. We tossed an extra order of coconut prawns in the order too! The pizzas were fantastic, we went with their chicken/bacon/ranch and it was surprisingly delicious. The pepperoni was also very good. The caesar was on par, but the wings were absolutely incredible. I like a good wing, but they've got their game going strong on these! The coconut prawns were better than average, but their sweet chili sauce was HEAVENLY. Dropped in this evening for a family feast take home kit. Ordered chicken fettuccine. It reads it'll feed four to five people but I was able to feed six with some leftover pasta. Food was nice and fresh. The pasta was perfectly cooked. I like that it was just enough sauce and not drowning which is what pasta is supposed to be like.. It came with four chicken breasts which I cut up and divided evenly among the six plates. Chicken was a little dry but I've noticed with other takeouts places chicken tends to be a little overcooked as I believe it continues to cook a little bit in the containers on the way home. Came with some cheesy bread, dipping sauce and enough Caesar salad to fill a big bowl. I love the giant parmesan shreds that it came with. The whole feast only costs $50 plus tax and tip. Was ready in 20 minutes for pickup and I didn't have to cook it. They have other family feasts as well.. The two brick oven pizzas with wings and salad looks like an option I'll use next time. read more
