The corn was cold, soggy, and tasted like it had been sitting out all day. The agua fresca? Might as well have been flavored tap water with a sprinkle of disappointment. And don't even get me started on the customer service. The employees acted like they were doing ME a favor by taking my order. They even laughed at me at the way I ordered. Anyone else order online and buy the Mangonada just to receive a slushy like drink when normally (when I order in store) it's usually more like a Smoothie? I was disappointed when I ordered online, I got a Mangonada that had lots of ice more like a slushy than the usual more smoothie like mango drink I normally get. Also the Strawberry agua Fresca online picture makes it look like it has some cream in the strawberry drink, well I received the strawberry agua Fresca and it had no cream what so ever. Not like the online picture at all. If the strawberry agua Fresca was like the online picture and the Mangonada like the smoothie I normally get and not an ice slushy then I would have liked it. Came specifically because we were craving strawberries with cream. The crema was delicious with berry clearly mixed in, and the strawberries were great too, even though I don't think we are in strawberry season. Got the large and it was indeed extremely filling. Next time must try the other fruit option too because they all look spectacular. The savory food was a big pleasant surprise as we didn't come initially for the savory dishes. The tacos were massive and they were very generous on the meat. The burrito was also huge, served grilled and hot with oozy cheese. They definitely don't cut corners here. The pictures speaks for itself. Honestly the best fruit cup I've had in Austin. If you want something healthy make sure you let them know because they add Chile and sugar to a lot of them. I got Ice cream that honestly wasn't great, which is hard to do for ice cream. I asked if they had toppings and they said they only had granola as I stared at a tub of sprinkles and several others behind them. Not only that but as I ate the ice cream I noticed something I couldn't chew... it was a cardboard star cut out in it.. absolutely disgusting. Me and my friend took a short 10 minute walk after school to go get some Tutty Frutty, it was my first time and her third. But dare I say, the raspa de piña was AMAZING I haven't tasted a raspa like that in years and her fresas con crema was amazing for her too. I don't know much Spanish but it's great I knew enough to talk to the lady at the counter and order it. It was good food, the lady was nice, and a really nice environment to be in. Asked the lady at the counter what was best and gave her a few options. She squinted to look at the menu and literally just picked the most expensive of the three options. The people working there weren't friendly at all and had the tv turned up so loud I could barely hear my friend talking right next to me. They have a variety of snacks you can choose from! I ordered a milanesa butrito, corn, and strawberries con crema. The strawberries con crema was super delicious! The corn was okay, nothing special. Just your average mayonnaise with cheese, however they barely put any in my corn. By the time I was midway down my cup it was just corn and not any leftover condiments. The burrito I ordered was soggy by the time I was finishing eating it. I've never had a soggy burrito in my life. They also put jalapeños on it, which was so weird. Then they said that door dash had selected piña con pepino. Ok, no biggie, I'll try that. My order arrives promptly. The sandwich looks good. But, it doesn't taste the way it looks. I'm very picky with flavor and love all types of foods, but this flavor came from the meat. It tasted old, almost as if they had cooked it a week prior, and took it out, warmed it up and placed it in my sandwich. Everything else was tasty (lettuce, avacado, tomato.) The drink, that tasted like something my kid could have made in a blender (with chunks and pieces floating around). I finished the drink and only ate a quarter of the sandwich. Don't come here if you are looking to grab a quick smoothie and go. They took about 30 minutes to make 3 smoothies. The other customers in there came and went in reasonable amounts of time. Also as I was waiting I had some time to read their walls. One wall advertised 50% off your second smoothie if you try a smoothie that was listed. Tutty Frutty is one of the only places in South Austin that you can get food like this, which alone gets it several stars from me, but they really go above and beyond on their orders compared to the other ones I've been to. My wife loves getting the "Sandia Loca" from here, which has to be pretty tough for them to make, but it always comes out massive and amazing. Myself, I always go for a Topo Chico Preparado or a Strawberry Aguas Frescas. Their tacos are great on their own, but it's their authentic street food that has me coming back all the time. It was kind of crazy to see how much time we were waiting for two orders of the taquitos, as they had one chef that didn't seem busy.
