It's a small milk tea joint, emphasis on small and joint. They host popular drinks with "fluffy", like honey fluffy green tea. They "ran out of boba" that night, wink wink nudge nudge. Wait, no boba? da hell? In all seriousness, I didn't like my drink (Honey fluffy green tea). The fluffy is just frothed milk and it took away from the green tea. Not cool beans. Just bad pairing on my part. When I mixed them together, it just tasted like bitter milky tea. It's still the 6th most popular drink. The cafe is also pretty small. The tables with benches probably sit about 16 people total. The bar seating probably seats another 16. When filled, the walking area gets tight. I was going to find a new boba place around my neighborhood and I saw this was a recommendation. I drove up and there was no parking but everyone was just parked randomly. I walk inside and it's busy, loud and so small. They had menus on the wall inside and out. And it is big. I tried their most popular item which was the brown sugar milk tea and their brown sugar frappe.( I don't know if they put coffee in it) but they were amazing. I liked it alot. My daughter got a strawberry green tea with strawberry pop boba and it was so good. By far one of the best green tea drinks I had at a boba shop. First time trying Twinkle Brown Sugar and I would say it wasn't a bad experience. I ordered the Hawaiian Sunset Fruit Tea, which was very pretty looking. It had diced up fruits(kiwi, strawberry, mango, etc.) in I think what was a green tea base. Tasted well put together. Just had troubling sucking up the fruits so I ended up drinking more of the tea than fruits. I also got the fried combo which consisted of popcorn chicken, french fries, and fried tempura. There was only four pieces of fried tempura, which were basically fried fish balls.. Lol. The french fries were average. But I thought the popcorn chicken was pretty good. It looked like it was made from real chicken when bitten into, compared to other places. Would I come back? Maybe?? Maybe if I wanted to give it a try again. But I would rather go somewhere else. So many options, everything is always delicious! Their cheese foam tasted like cheesecake and it was just perfect with the jasmine milk tea.

Pros: -I love the Twinkle Fruit Tea! It's light and refreshing, and comes with lots of little pieces of fruit, including strawberries, kiwis, mangoes, and pineapples. -Their lemonades (strawberry, mango, or peach) are great on a hot day, and also include pieces of fresh-cut fruit. It has lots of zing from the lemon and lime in there, which is well balanced by the other fruit. This drink in particular comes with a lot of ice, so if you don't feel like paying for half a cup of ice, make sure to ask for less! -Twinkle Brown Sugar is less than a mile from my house, so I often walk my dogs past here and get my dose of boba. You know, hitting two birds with one stone. The employees are so sweet and always welcome my little pups inside the store. -If you sign up for a FiveStars rewards account, you can get 10% off every order! Once you earn a certain amount of points, you can get a free drink (but with a catch, see below). -The first topping on your drink is free! Cons (why I subtracted a star): -The milk teas are made with Coffee-Mate non-dairy creamer, which is not vegan because it contains sodium caseinate (a milk derivative). It would be nice if you could substitute soy or almond milk, since many boba shops have this option. -While their boba is usually delicious, it can sometimes be bland or mushy. I wish it was more consistent, but I guess it just depends on what time you come. -Their drinks are often really sugary for my taste, so I ask for 1/2 or 1/4 sugar. Sometimes, these honestly taste exactly the same as the normal sweetness. Maybe they just need to measure their sugar more carefully... -It doesn't seem like that nice of a place to study, since the seating area is pretty small. There aren't too many outlets available, and the wifi can be pretty slow. -Unfortunately, the FiveStars free drink only applies to their basic teas where you choose a base and flavor (not their specialties, slushes, coffees, etc). Honeybadger & Ladybug Teahouse = packed so I ended up here with my friend since we both needed to study for finals.There were only 2 tables left. PHEW. Brown Sugar with Grass Jelly ($3.85): I usually never opt for grass jelly but this is really the only place i'll ever choose to order it since the sweet drink compliments it so well. I asked for my drink with half the amount of sugar they usually put and it was PERFECT! Would have much rather got the brown sugar milk tea with grass jelly and boba but then I wouldn't have slept all night - pass. The drinks are a generous portion if you order for dine-in. This is the place I discovered coffee milk tea. Yum! They have an extensive menu on drinks and I haven't ventured off on trying the other drinks, they have the usual boba - not a boba fan. They have fluffy drinks, sounds interesting. The only thing they don't have is cappuccino :( I usually take my laptop here and enjoy my drink in a ceramic cup. It's small and cute, most of the people that come here are students studying, wifi is free. They don't have desserts, the only sweet thing they have here is "brick toast", which I realized is a creative name they came up with for jam & bread, and that's exactly what it is. Came here last week for the first time! Parking lot was so dark in the back, but we were just glad that we found parking. The set up of the place is a little awkward because we had to stand right by someone's table to look at the menu on the wall in order to not block someone for the line. (if that made sense) It was nice for them to have varieties of drinks on the menu, but at the same time, why do they have so many different kinds of milk tea.... We had to ask the waitress what their differences were, which was confusing. Prices were pretty good, but the drinks were just average. After ordering, we just found ourselves a small table to sit down and chat. The waitress brought our to-go drinks to us, which was nice. It's a nice place to just chill till late night with your small group of friends since the place is realllly small. Will probably come here again to try their other milk teas. read more

It's a good place to study but it can get loud and distracting with chit chats and conversations flying back and forth. Great place to hang out with your friends and play games. My sister & I ordered drinks through postmates, and there was a problem. The worker on the phone was super nice and helped us through it! Great customer service! The drinks were decent but I wasn't a huge fan of it. My sister got the sea salt thai tea and she said the tea wasn't the strongest which could have been an improvement. I tried the jasmine milk tea float with matcha ice cream & it tasted just like a jasmine green milk tea in my opinion. It could be the factor that my ice cream melted on the way but that wasn't their fault! I would probably order again and try another drink! Size is quite good for the price, but the service is very mediocre as some workers are disrespectful while others are nice. It is a very mediocre shop from this matter. The food is sometimes under cooked by a few minutes during rush hours making it unbearable to eat. Only go after the rush hours ( 6 pm - closing). If only the cafe was more professional, it would have gotten a higher review. Some of the workers, during the rush hours would just casually talk and not pay attention to their customers fully. The environment itself is quite small and cramped and the employees do not do a thing about it, especially when there is a "no loitering" sign. Like come on. Do your job. Serve customers.
