I wanted to love this place so badly because it came highly recommended but they initially missed the mark. I am so glad I returned and tried this spot again because they put my initial experience to shame and really knocked it out of the park this time! We came here as a large group of 7 of us for a little work bonding time. One of our meetings went over so we were running behind for our reservation but they made it seem like it was not a problem for them so we felt welcomed! The service was excellent. Our server made great recommendations which is why I ordered the GourMelt Bene. Holy cow! This was so delicious! I love brunch with all my heart and I can say with full confidence this is one of the tastiest brunches I have ever had, and it's a shame I was just here to visit and can't have it more. The place was busy on a Sunday morning but the wait was no more than 20-30 minutes. The service was very kind and attentive, filling out water when we needed and clearing plates without us needing to ask. I ordered the GourMelt Bene and was just blown away by the sour dough and the sauce. The sourdough was sooo sour in the best way and was soft, easy to cut through, and soaked up the sauce and the yolk perfectly. The hollandaise was plentiful, creamy, smooth, and lightly seasoned. The eggs poached delicately and had runny yolks. I ate this up so fast and enjoyed every bite. The sourdough pancakes were tasty and bouncy. You can tell there's a difference but the sourdough isn't as prominent as it would be in an actual bread. But still tasty and adds a light tang that works well. read more

It was Saturday morning and after a pedicure down the street, my girlfriend and I wanted some breakfast. This spot always gets really busy so we put our name on the waitlist and we popped into the shops around the area. We waited probably 30 minutes which wasn't bad. We sat the bar which was a first for both of us. Gave us that classic diner experience ! We started with some breakfast cocktails. I tried the elderflower mimosa which was perfectly sweet and aromatic. My girlfriend got the classic Bloody Mary. I'd come back for this Bloody Mary alone! I did some research after waking up in the morning for a good breakfast spot nearby me and this place popped up, I told myself I have to give it a try and to see is it good or just hype. Upon arrival, there were a few people ahead of me, but that does not bother me since I am a very patient person. I then got seated and was greeted by their friendly staffs. They have a drink menu that consists of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Their main menu includes breakfast, skillets, omelettes, benedicts, sandwiches, salads, a kid's menu and much more. I just went with the breakfast since I was craving for it. Everything is made to order which is always a plus for me since it is quality over quantity. The staffs here are very welcoming, well trained and understanding where it made my visit a pleasant one. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent breakfast/brunch spot, if you are looking to try something new or if you just so happen to be in the area. Two chicks delivers good service and the food comes out pretty quickly for how busy they are. I had a matcha latte the last time I was in and it wasn't sweet, which is my preference. I like how you can do the single Benedict with a side as that is the right portion for me. I usually get the veggie one on the veggie fritter versus an English muffin. The last time the fritter was undercooked making the flavor not as good. Hashbrowns were nice and crispy. One less star due to inconsistency. read more

We stayed at the Aiden by Best Western so we wanted to try this place out for Breakfast. The actual food was good, and so is the service! The place is cute. It was very busy and the way things are set up, it did feel pretty cramped and not in a cozy way. For eggs/meat it is way over priced here, above inflation costs, that is why Im giving 3 Stars. If you're coming here for a high carb breakfast of bread and pancakes, your money goes a little further. It was $4.75 for a tiny Cappuccino, that tasted sour. They give you less for more money here. I really and truly love the food at Two Chicks-- it is always fresh, well prepared and served with kindness and prompt service. There are times when the restaurant is extremely busy and you have to wait a bit to be seated, but like many things in life, good things are always worth the wait! Their Irish benedict, served with fresh corned beef and hollandaise sauce on English muffins, can't be missed when it comes up on the specials menu. Nor can the chicken fried steak served with farm fresh eggs, homemade sausage gravy and a deliciously crispy outer breading. Their biscuits are fresh and wonderful and can easily feed two people, but I've never been of the inclination to share my biscuits with anyone else! Parking can be a bit challenging, but patience helps sometimes. This is a great place for breakfast or lunch and exploring the entire menu can be very fun. The staff is friendly, attentive and very polite and the more often you come by, you start to feel like family. I highly recommend Two Chicks, excellent food and service overall. read more

I like to try new breakfast places. I pulled up this place on the web, I saw their menu, and I decided to come in for breakfast. I like the place. It's kind of "rustic" in a way. Bare bones, but it gives it a cool atmosphere. When I walk in, I saw that they had a special. It was the spring scramble. A Three-egg scramble with sage-maple sausage, sun-dried tomatoes, mozzarella, and fresh fennel. It was served over their white sweet potato home fries. The food comes quickly. It was a very large portion, and it was delicious. The eggs were fluffy, the sausage was sweet and savory at the same time, and the tomatoes and fennel went very well with each other. There was just the right amount of cheese. I haven't had white sweet potatoes before, and they were good. Just the right texture, and I liked the flavor. There was one piece of toast instead of two, but that's OK. It was a good quality sourdough, and it came with an amazing blueberry butter. I've never had blueberry butter. That blueberry butter was so good, I could've almost eaten it by itself. The coffee was good, and they kept my cup full. For all this food, it was a very decent price. I loved the fact that they cooked my eggs the way I like them. I always ask for them well done, brown even but never come out like this. Bacon could've been a little crispier. I'm glad the waitress informed me that due to the ingredients it comes out at a lower temp than the hotter Bennie's. Still enjoyable. Overall atmosphere and service was fine, but the four stars are due to my husband's overcooked steak (he ordered medium-rare and it came out looking near medium-well) and because the waitress made quite the uncomfortable situation when she said she thought I was my husband's mom.... ? Perhaps funny but definitely felt rude- maybe next time just don't chit-chat with your customers if you don't have a filter. We decided to pop into Two Chicks for a late brunch on a Sunday afternoon. This is a popular midtown brunch location, so be aware of a wait (we waited 30 minutes). Also, parking in midtown and the complex that the restaurant is located are limited, so have patience as you scour for a parking spot. The restaurant is spacious but cozy, with eclectic decor. The service was prompt and friendly. We really liked that they not only texted when our table was ready but also called so that we wouldn't miss the table opening. Our son got the breakfast burrito and said it was delicious. My wife and I each got a different "melt" and then split them. The "wiseguy" was yummy, but the real star was the tuna melt. It was perfectly toasted outside with a perfect amount of flavorful tuna on the inside. The aioli dipping sauce for the fries was delicious, and the fries were crispy. The only minor complaint would be that the fries weren't as warm as I would have liked. Overall, the experience was great, and we will return to try other melts! read more

As a Reno local, my FAVORITE place for breakfast and brunch has always been Two Chick's. I have been coming here for years, since college! My favorite go-to's are the: breakfast burrito, the chorizo & eggs, and eggs Benedict! You can't go wrong with any of those options. I also enjoy their toast that comes along with your meal. A big bonus is their freshly juiced orange juice too, so yummy! Another big bonus is their delicious mimosas, if you're in the mood for them, please get them! Additionally, I love the staff. They have always been so great to me and have been so helpful throughout the years.
