As a Reno local, my FAVORITE place for breakfast and brunch has always been Two Chick's. I have been coming here for years, since college! My favorite go-to's are the: breakfast burrito, the chorizo & eggs, and eggs Benedict! You can't go wrong with any of those options. I also enjoy their toast that comes along with your meal. A big bonus is their freshly juiced orange juice too, so yummy! Another big bonus is their delicious mimosas, if you're in the mood for them, please get them! Additionally, I love the staff. They have always been so great to me and have been so helpful throughout the years. This particular location in midtown is my favorite, the vibe is so welcoming and cute, and definitely a great atmosphere to wake up and eat breakfast to. Loved my Caprese Benedict. Eggs and hollandaise nicely made, balsamic was rich and flavorful, plus I added bacon. I'm glad the waitress informed me that due to the ingredients it comes out at a lower temp than the hotter Bennie's. Still enjoyable. Overall atmosphere and service was fine, but the four stars are due to my husband's overcooked steak (he ordered medium-rare and it came out looking near medium-well) and because the waitress made quite the uncomfortable situation when she said she thought I was my husband's mom.... ? Perhaps funny but definitely felt rude- maybe next time just don't chit-chat with your customers if you don't have a filter. She then went on to explain how she doesn't look her own age (near 60); wondering if she has ageism issues. Leave them at home please. Decent food but questionable service? We decided on Two Chicks before our early Aces game because I'm in love with the Gourmelt Bene. It's one of the best Bene's I've ever had! I ordered a Bloody Mary as I've never had their's before. It was such a treat and I loved the marinated green bean that came with it. My husband ordered the Almond Poppyseed French Toast Combo and a Pineapple Mimosa. Everything was delicious and the server, I think her name was Zoe, was super attentive to our table. We will be returning for more, thank you for an excellent meal. read more

Used to be the best but it's gone downhill. Came on a slow Tuesday the watched every dish that came out sit in the window for at least 5 minutes before being delivered. No bell or urgency to run food while it's hot. Mine sat for 5 minutes while the server talked and then and then she walked passed it and went outside. It was cold and the hash brown was hard and dry after sitting 8 minutes under the heat lamp. The omelette came with 1 piece of toast that was hard and cold it came out 10 minutes after the food had been cooked. We hate cold food so don't know if we will come back. read more

Whenever I'm in the area Two Chicks is a must go for me. If you don't want to go wait for a table the bar seating is a good option (normally no wait). The 3 of guys needed to wait for 45 minutes for a table hence we decided to sit at the bar which was no wait. We ordered 3 items and all 3 were delicious as always. I had the chorizo omelette with hash browns and a side of sour dough bread. The portion is good for the price. Staffs are friendly as always. Parking might be a challenge at certain times but if you drive around the blocks spaces are available. read more

I really enjoyed this chicken fried steak. It was good and satisfying. We did have to wait about 45 mins to get seated. Do I think it's worth the wait..yes and no. I really don't like waiting that long for breakfast but in this case we were from out of town and didn't mind waiting because we got drinks from the bar across the street. The menu in this restaurant has absolutely too much good stuff! This is the most difficult time I've had in a long time trying to decide what to order because there were just too many amazing choices. I ended up ordering their daily special, coffee crumb cake pancakes and it makes my mouth water to remember it now. My hubby ordered the biscuits and gravy and honestly, they were the best B&G I've ever had. My hubby said "the gravy has flavor instead of just flour" The restaurant was adorable too, and service was good. Veggie fritters are the best concept - shredded veggies mixed with egg whites and baked - served as a base for a Benedict! First visit to the mid-town location, sooo glad I came here today! I love the quaint and Upbeat atmosphere. I avoided this location in the past because parking in midtown is usually on street. Plenty of parking in their parking lot !!! The eggs Benedict was hot, hash browns nice and crispy. The waitress really seemed to LOVE her job here! Everyone was very friendly and professional! The midtown location is closer to my home...I think I just found another 2 chicks fave place for a great breakfast or lunch spot !! Found this awesome breakfast spot while visiting Reno by doing a Google search - all the reviews are spot on! Went on Saturday - tried the huevos rancheros - they are delicious! Had to go back on Sunday - this time had the Chilaquiles Verde - and WOW!!! Chicken and green salsa party in your mouth! Both days there were 20+ min waits but we lucked out and sat at the bar - this is a locals and tourist spot - definitely make it a point to go if you're looking for a local breakfast spot while you're in Reno. Absolutely terrible. This breakfast was so terrible I had to hop on and leave this review immediately. I ordered the sweet potato pancake combo with a chicken apple sausage, side biscuit and side bacon which I asked to be cooked not too crispy. These bacon strips have walked through the valley of the shadow of death that's how decrepit they look. The sweet potato pancakes are AWFUL. I took one bite and thought i was trippin then took another and thought yep these are terrible. They are soggy and bland and honestly wouldn't be fit for a dog. The biscuit was tough and had a weird flavor to it. Tasted like it was made days ago. This was honestly the worst breakfast experience I've had in YEARS. The one star is for the hostess who was very sweet. The food though 10000 thumbs down. Would absolutely not recommend at all. read more

I haven't been to Two Chicks for awhile, but as always was pleasantly surprised. It has such unique and tasty dishes. I had the Two Chicks skillet, and man was it spicy with all of the jalapenos. I probably could have used a lesser amount of them, but other than that, it was great. The sweet potato hash was interesting and not too mushy. There was a lot of bacon and the eggs were cooked perfectly. They also served toast with a mango butter. I loved that! The service was friendly and responsive. The food came out even faster than I anticipated. I love the modern but homey feel of the place with its bright colored stools and murals on the walls.
