This is a favorite spot in Ventura. Have yet to eat a bad meal here because they don't make any bad meals.

One start for them not charging me for this. So thank you to that nice gentlemen. I ordered eggs Benedict which took about 40 minutes to come out. I am assuming the plate was sitting out by how soggy the bread was when it arrived. The eggs were not by any means poached or enjoyable. Hashbrowns were terrible and lacked flavor. I love this spot so much for many reasons, friendly service, very nice people .. the Ventura vibe the i love It is one of the very first restaurants i went to when i moved to ventura, I still have some comments about food It should be served hot and right when it comes out There's a lot of servers in there and it wasn't a busy night. Yet we had to wait way too long to get our order taken.. or to get our drinks or to get the second drink . Like the wait is boring kinda.. i just wish for faster service and its okay to wait for food but we want it hot . Visited Two Trees for the first time last night. My women's group went for Happy Hour and there were 12 of us. Many people ordered HH food. The portions were large and reported to be delicious. I have Celiac disease and ordered the chicken piccata dinner which was prepared gluten free, per my request. The food was delicious! My sides were grilled, mixed veggies and a perfect baked potato with whipped butter, sour cream and real chives. The drinks were also really good! I ordered a margarita and it's one of the best I've had. Others raved about the lemon drop which was served in a lovely champagne coupe. Other drinks had fresh fruit garnishes. The attention to detail here is remarkable and the prices are reasonable. We sat on the patio and enjoyed attentive service and a nice breeze. I'll soon be back to Two Trees! read more

My husband ordered the carnitas and it was AMAZING!! We have had the carnitas several times, and without hesitation-it is THE BEST CARNITAS in Ventura!!! No doubt!!! Raul and his brother are doing a TERRIFIC JOB at Two Trees and Art's on the Corner! Carnitas at Two Trees is TOPS in Ventura! BAR NONE: Two Trees beats EVERY MEXICAN restaurant in Ventura!!! This is the FAMILY RECIPE that every Mexican family WISHED that their Mom made!! And the Chili Verde is DROP DEAD delicious!! I've gone to Two trees a few times and I recommend going for their breakfast over their dinner menu. Big fan of their fresh baked biscuits and their home made berry jam. Their hash browns could do with a bit more seasoning. For dinner, I ordered a veggie burger and my mom ordered a turkey burger with onion rings (see picture). My veggie burger was a bit bland but the fries were good. The turkey burger was ok. Their cocktail options are fancy. If you get the chance, I recommend sitting in their back patio. read more

Absolutely delicious food! Had the chipotle chicken sandwich, so good. But the Michelada is where it is at. I don't even like them but they are fantastic here!!! Must try if you like the chili lime with your beer! Love that they serve lunch early, not a huge breakfast person but want to try it here! This is definitely one of my favorite breakfast spots. I absolutely love the Chile verde everything. I'm not crazy about the Chile rellano omelette but it a favorite of one of my daughters. Love the atmosphere of a Ventura breakfast spot and the outdoor seating in the back to chill for brunch. Not fancy but solid food and nostalgia. Prices are good for the quality and quantity but biscuits tend to be salty. The huge drinks are cool for a brunchy breakfast before you start the day. It's a must try. read more

If you walk into a brunch restaurant on a late Sunday morning with a group of 8, you're going to wait. It just happens. My friends and I decided on a whim to brave the brunch crowds for some tasty food and were not disappointed. Every bite of this meal was incredible, and we found ourselves taking bites of each other's breakfasts just to experience all of the menu we possibly could. First--get the beignets. Just do it. No, they're not authentic Louisiana beignets, but we're in Central California. And they're delicious. Crispy outside, fluffy inside, and excellent dipping sauces. Need something savory? Get one of the hash options. I was overjoyed that there was a vegetarian hash, and I devoured it with a pinch more salt and some hot sauce. Non-vegetarian friends enjoyed the biscuits and gravy, and the traditional eggs/bread/meat type breakfasts satisfied all who partook in them. Want a sweet breakfast? They got you covered. Lemon blueberry pancakes with compote--omg, divine. But the star of the show was the churro waffle. Omg. It was so decadent it needed to be shared between three people. Literally every person left this meal more than satisfied. Not to mention the coffee and waters were refilled constantly. Great service! We found this place by accident and what a fantastic accident!! It's tucked in the back of a shopping center. The staff was warm and friendly. The ambience was cozy. The food on more than one occasion has been soggy and over priced. My crab cake Benedict was drenched in hollandaise sauce so much that I thought the poached eggs were popped, but were not. The home fries were also undercooked and soggy. Before leaving, and not finishing, I figured their classic beignets would be a win, but again they were not as crispy as in the past and doughy. They have successfully lost a customer after being charged $75 for poorly made food. read more

I ordered the Monte Cristo, this a hit or miss plate depending on the establishment, but here at Two Trees it was really good. I was disappointed only got 1 refill on my coffee and I drink a lot of coffee. Also my dad asked for sweetener and they brought out sweet and low, but I only use real sugar so I had the server go back to get me sugar.
