Pizza was very good. Typical pizza place. They clearly don't get a lot of eat in diners, but were accommodating and nice. The restaurant could use some updating but it was fine for the most part. Would definitely come back for takeout.

OMG!! Distraught, shocked, and nauseous are just a few words to describe what I saw when I walked into this restaurant! A friend told me how good their pizzas are. I remember it being Slice so while out Saturday evening I decided to go try a slice. So, I entered and the gentleman behind the bar near the entrance did not greet me, he signaled for a young man to come and take my offer. The bar area appears normal except there was only one patron at the bar enjoying a drink. I stated I wanted to order one slice of pizza. The young man stated there are no slices, just whole pizzas. I turned around and looked at the menu on the wall to see if I wanted anything. I asked where the restroom was so I could utilize it. What I saw was so awful I would not use the restroom, nor touch anything, much less, eat here! THE PICTURES SAY IT ALL!!! The bathroom was so disgusting and a large sign on the wall said to not flush any toilet paper!!! The back dining area is utilized for trash, storage, piled high junk, and a motorcycle!! And there was an employee working with napkins and silverware at a table in the midst of the filth. Yes, I'm not lying! This is right by the kitchen!! On the way back on the front I realized there were no patrons dining on this section! There was a couple dining in a booth, one gentleman alone, and the one at the bar. I tried to take a pic of the kitchen area but I was being watched! So I decided to quickly leave. Upon exiting I decided to take a pic of the outside of the rest and then noticed the menu on the wall! Just look at the pic and you understand the owners standard, period. It's a Saturday night in New Orleans!! It used to be packed when it was Slice. I know why and feel bad for anyone ordering delivery from here because they have no idea how disgusting this place is!! THIS RESTAURANT NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN! It deserves zero star, just couldn't give it one.

*** Vegetarian Review *** Great place. Friendly service. Local joint with a ton of character. Felicity Pizza ($14 small, $19 large, Grade A) : Garlic butter sauce, feta, spinach, mozzarella, artichokes, mushrooms, tomato, and red onion. I really enjoyed that it wasn't stacked with mounds of cheese, but packed with a lot of flavor. The cornmeal crust was like a meal by itself. Side of Fries ($5, Grade A+) They delivered the French fries straight from the fryer to our table and they were perfect with the pizza. Nicely salted. Crunchy outter with a soft inside. Spend the 75-cents for ranch and get to dipping! Recommended. Spinach and artichoke dip ($9, Grade A) : You can choose between garlic bread or pita. Just go with the garlic bread. It's unique and delicious. Bottom line. Fun place that's on the streetcar route. Food served hot and the staff is welcoming.

I'm a regular here and I highly recommend! The gluten free pizza is actually really good, and tastes like a regular thin crust. All pizza comes with one ranch cup (hell yeah!). Salads are great portions and very tasty! I always call in and get it to go and my order is always right. Staff is super nice and welcoming. It's nothing special but very consistent and I love going somewhere knowing what i'm getting is gonna be just as I expect. (cheesecake is also good!)

This was the most horrific chicken Parm sandwich I have every seen in my life. They used the chicken that is used on their pizza and it was all dried out. There was a little bit of cheese and barely any sauce Chicken Parm should be a breaded cutlet covered in cheese and sauce. Their other food may be good, but any Italian restaurant should know better than to serve this monstrosity

Unfortunately, I was pretty underwhelmed about the pizza here. There wasn't much flavor, there definitely wasn't enough sauce, and the pizza was just all around bland. Won't be going there again. read more

The pizza here is excellent. My favorite in the city. Their delivery is sneaky fast to the point don't order if your not ready to eat in 20 minutes. My order is always right and delivered with care. I've never dined in so I can't attest to that. But this is my pizza go to always! read more

Ordered on a recommendation from the desk clerk at our hotel. After a long day of travel I just wanted something to eat. What a great surprise!! Ordered the Philly pizza and the esplanade burger. The Philly is something I would NEVER order but my girl said it sounded good so I went for it. I'm glad I did. Herb sauce was delicious, perfect amount of toppings, perfectly cooked. Also I would usually never order a burger from a pizza place but is was really good as well. Decent quality beef, well put together with fries. Toppings were fresh and delicious. And was delivered in 30 min!! Well done, U pizza! Thanks for making my first night here pleasant. read more

I'm from Los Angeles and came to visit, we stopped by with a group of 17 and they accommodated us right away. Really great service and the pizza was soo good! It was one of my favorite pizzas I've ever had. Got the garden district pizza with califlower crust and wow, thin crust loaded with veggies. We also got the Greek salad that was also good. read more

Visiting here from Lake Charles, staying near by google pizza and this little pizza joint came up. Stopping in the middle of my meal because this is absolutely amazing!! I have to tell somebody! A pizza place that offers vegan cheese? With delicious, crisp crust and the freshest of toppings? Yes please! My husband and I stopped here for lunch, and am I ever glad we did! I'm vegan; he's not. We ordered the Margherita pizza with vegan cheese on half. Our server pointed out that the margherita pizza was made with garlic sauce and included parrmesan cheese. She suggested that I leave my half without the Parmesan and substitute marinara for the garlic sauce, so that's what I did. And it was amazing! I really appreciate how she pointed that out. Many servers will not, and the Vegan Police have cited me for it in numerous occasions. This will be our go-to pizza place every time we're in NOLA! read more

Great food and excellent service, found out about this place on TikTok and they did not disappoint! Our pizza was delicious, chicken wings and salad was very good. But most importantly the service was the absolute best! Moses is the absolute best, he went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our food. Just finished 2slices of a take-out 14" Uptown pizza and it was absolutely delicious. I could taste the garlic pods (a NOLA must) and the rest of the ingredients seemed fresh and were very plentiful. This was our first time but won't be our last. 5 stars for taste. read more

For entrees we had the Spicy San Marzano Pie, Roasted Mushroom Pie, and I had the Pappardelle dish. Excellent flavor and spice on my Pappardelle, and not complaints on the pizza front. Padalar is definitely a classy casual destination away from the typical NOLA tourist scene.

The sandwiches other diners had on their plates were large and looked delicious just glancing around at other tables. Everything comes up fast and the atmosphere is . . . just ideally New Orleans. It feels all the way "working CBD lunch" yet unhurried, a reflection of Cochon's greatness but scaled down and with utterly no pretense. There's simply a real sense of both care and expertise in everything done here no matter how simple or complex. Beyond all else, they're doing what they love here with no scaling back or dressing up to make it anything else. A winner through and through.
