This place has horrible customer service! The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. I was sent by Verizon to have my battery changed and screen replaced. Went to this place for both of these things. Waited for my phone to get fixed. When I picked it up I was told both of these things were done. However weeks later I was noticing my phone was still not holding a charge. They initially told me I had to let my phone drain fully and the battery would reset, due to its memory. I called them again and told them my phone was still not holding a charge. They told me to bring my phone in to have it looked and the battery replaced. When I went there I got nothing but the runaround and excuses and completely different information I had been told the three other times I have been there. I was then told I needed to file a new claim to have the battery replaced And they can only do one thing at a time. Meaning they can't replace your battery and your screen in the same claim. I inquired as to why I wasn't told that when I dropped it off nor was I told when I picked it up nor was I told when I called and said my phone was still not holding a charge. And the fact that they told me the battery was replaced and it wasn't!! read more

I had dropped my phone just like everyone else did. Sadly my screen did crack after a week having my Galaxy Note9. I searched around to get my phone fixed and people were quoting me $250+ and yeah I was disappointed. Spent a few months with my phone screen cracked until I found these guys. Mind you I so forgot that i had the protection plan with AT&T which covered my repair here with UbreakIfix. I knew they closed at 7pm and i work 9-5 and had to pick up my son from his after school program. I got off early to specifically be there before 5pm because I was wanted that the repair would take 2 hours. I got lost because my beloved GPS took me to the Montclair mall. I had a general idea of where this place was at so I just started to drive until I spotted it from the street. I got there a few mins past 5 and I took the chance that they would take me I didn't care if I had to pick up my phone the next morning (I really did care, had an interview the next day). I was greeted by Johnathan and he showed me all the test he was doing to see if anything else might be wrong with my phone and he would explain each test and the process of the repair. He did have to double check to see if they had the part for my phone and YES I was crossing my fingers and behold they had the peice. He did say they might not be able to take my phone to repair at the time. So he double checks with one of the techs in the back to see if they had time. I was already in disappointment that they weren't going to take me in since I knew they weren't going to be done by the time they closed. Well Johnathan came back and told me that they would squeeze me in and boy was I so eternally grateful! They did ask me to come back a few minutes before 7 and I was okay with that. My son wanted to do pokemon go raids so I drove around the general area until 630. I came back with a couple of people there waiting and assuming they were also getting their phones repaired. I walked in and Nelson (not 100% sure if that was his name) had asked me if I had the purple note and I told him yes and he said my phone would be done in about 20 mins or so. 3 people ahead of me were slowly getting their phones back and it was now 7:15. I was getting nervous because they could come out any second and tell me to come back tomorrow for my phone. FINALLY 720 I see my phone and they go over the process with me if any issue I have with the phone to give them a call or come in. I am seriously beyond appreciate that not only did they squeeze me into their schedule but they were all still there after operation hours to have my phone fixed. STRONGLY recommend them. read more

Came here today to fix my phone understanding the cove in 19 guidelines they have multiple X's marked on the floor to stay 6 feet apart but Only allowed one customer in at a time and have all other customers lined up outside. It started to rain then the rain turning to hell I open the door and ask them if I can stand inside on one of the marked exes on the floor they told me no to stay outside. I asked why do they have multiple marks on the floor for customers if they're not allowing customers in to stand on those. They just said to stand outside. I finally get in soaking wet give them my phone they tell me to come back in two hours I come back in two hours they tell me another 15 minutes I go back in there 15 minutes later they tell me another 5 minutes finally the fourth time I go in my phone is ready horrible experience would not recommend this place I only came here Because this is where my Verizon phone insurance covers my repair. read more

I lent out my DVD player to another teacher. She sent it back with the disc stuck inside, and the tray would not open. I was told the diagnostic would be about 24 hours, and $20-30 depending on how much trouble it was. I was called half an hour later. Since the DVD popped out while they were looking into it, and there were no other malfunctions to fix, there was no charge. Instead, I was given thanks for being a teacher. Right as I walked in the door I was greeted. I showed them the damage done to my phone and they quoted me right away. Nelson, I believe was his name, proceeded to check which functions still worked on the phone, showed me the different parts of the new screen to give me an idea of what got damaged on my phone. He then quoted me a time (about an hour for mine) to come back and pick up my phone. When I went back to pick it up my phone was brought out right away and it was fully functioning again! Yay! Everyone knows when life happens, everything breaks. I contacted this repair store because Google recommended them as an authorized repair store. With Google, I had a warranty which this store used to cover all costs. Thankfully what would have been a $55 repair was covered by Google and they had my phone at lunch time and returned it the SAME day after only having my phone for 4 hours. NOT ONLY that, but when I returned to pick up the phone I was greeted by lovely customer service from Mark. They did not ask me to leave this review, I do not do this often, but this kind of service and accessibility deserves to be acknowledged in today's difficult times. I just want to take this time to again thank Mark and this business for their friendly and quick service, job well done. Unacceptable! My business phone needed immediate service. I made an online appointment for a technician to come to my home, I provided my info, paid a $30 deposit, and received appt confirmation from an automated system (a technician will arrive between 7-9 AM) 9 AM passed No Call, No Email received, I called customer service and was told this lead belongs to the Montclair location (I live in Glendora), they could not get a hold of the technician or assign a new technician to assist me WOW so customer service rep said to walk into the Montclair location to get helped (if I wanted to go to a nearby location that opened at 10 or 11 AM I would have done that, but because it's my business phone I Needed Immediate Assistance and this company confirmed me a 7-9 AM appt. at my home), that was False Not a Good Experience, Not what I expected Poor Service, I don't Recommend this Company "UBreakIFix" they will take your info and deposit and no technician will show up or Call or Email they will not make the effort to find a new technician or you instead they will tell you to drive yourself to the nearest location Poor Service and Experience - Not Recommended! read more

I don't normally write reviews, unless I need to get my point across. Long story short, I came and brought my iPhone 7 Plus in for a port issue that was a minor issue. But enough to bug me, although a perfectly working phone. I left it on a Saturday and was told to be able to pick up my phone a couple of days later. I finally called on a Thursday and asked the status. I was told they couldn't duplicate the problem. After arriving to the store to pick up my phone, I was told by Mark that he wanted more time with it, after mentioning I could probably do an upgrade with my carrier after the fact. By that Sunday I received a text later in the evening that said my phone has been repaired and ready for pick up. When I arrived the next day, the phone had not been repaired and was told they replaced my screen because they had cracked it while checking out the port. Mind you, my phone was in near flawless condition. So I went ahead and brought it home. Once turning it on and trying to use it, my phone was not functioning properly and was not swiping and detecting my finger. I called back the next morning and explained the issue. I was told they would get me a better quality screen. Finally, by that week on Thursday, I received the new screen which in turn worked out perfectly. However, my battery was no longer holding charge and began to get hot after a few minutes of being on an app or very minimal use. I went to T-Mobile to try and do an upgrade, and they denied my phone due to the replacement screen. Needless to say, I had a perfectly working phone, never replaced the screen prior to this and WOULD HAVE been eligible for an upgrade. This store totally screwed me over. I went ahead and purchased a new iPhone XR at full retail price due to the non eligible replacement screen. read more

I had a problem with an iPad which isn't what they normally fix, but they gave me such good service, and spent a lot of time trying to help me out anyway. The people there are SO nice, and seem really customer oriented. Tyler is the manager, and he spent a long time trying to see what it was that I had done to mess it up, and it ended up working fine, and they didn't even charge me. While I was there I heard them saying that they had driven two hours to pick up a part for someone to get it up and working again as soon as possible because they really needed it done right away. And someone else came in who had broken something after it had been already fixed, and they spent 3 hours taking it apart in order to fix it again, and did it for free!!! I love this place, and will come here whenever I have a catastrophe, which I hope isn't often, but when it happens, this is where I will come!!! Thanks guys!! read more
