This is a very small shop next to the tattoo and barbershop on harbor boulevard. I came here while my bf was getting a tattoo. They have plenty of options, but was recommended the Ubus by the artist at the shop. I decided to get a crab meat and a salmon one. The girl at the front was very nice and patient with me while I decided what I wanted. The Ubus came out pretty quick in a cute packaging with napkins and chopsticks. My favourite was the crab meat one but the salmon was also very good with some seasoning that was absorbed by the rice on the bottom making it very tasty! I would highly recommend the Ubus as a quick snack or meal.

I was craving tteokbokki and I was satisfied here! The cashier was very nice to let me know that there was a combo deal of tteokbokki and one Inari for $12! That's a steal if you ask me. Food was absolutely delicious. I'll be back.

Located in downtown Fullerton, parking could be a little bit challenging during busy times. This place is small with limited seatings, and you place your order at the counter before finding a table. We tried the five piece yubu special, which was fine, but nothing stood out. They also offer self serve ramen, cupbab, nigiri, snacks, and more but we didn't see anything on the menu that would draw us back for another visit.

Solid lunch spot! I love their combo deals. It's so worth! Their yubus are pretty big with a decent filling to rice ratio! I tried the fresh salmon, unagi, and crab ubu! The eel was a little boney which made it a little hard to eat. Overall solid!

Ordered through the Yelp app from here. I was having a late lunch and had dinner plans and tried a chicken teriyaki ubu and a salmon ubu. Each one was $7.19 and they were good but not filling. I would recommend this for a light snack where you leave feeling like you respected your body's wishes for not overeating or eating junk food on your lunch break. It delicious and it's just enough, but for $7.19 you could get more elsewhere, especially if you're feeling super hungry. Parking is located behind the store, but you have to walk all the way around to the front of the store to enter. There's no entrance in the back. This place also sells Asian or Korean & Japanese snacks and they have ramen stations where you can buy a pack of ramen noodles and make it right there in the store.

We ordered the 5-piece special -- fresh salmon, eel, two spicy tuna, and crab -- and everything was super fresh! Honestly one of the ubu I've tried in SoCal. We also got the bulgogi sandwich and wow... total hidden gem! So flavorful and surprisingly filling. The staff were super nice too. We opted to grab spam musubi and onigiri on the way out because of how nice they were. Can't wait to try it at home! Can't wait to come back and try the ramen self-serve bar and tteokbokki next time. Ubu Ubu is definitely a new fave spot!

Really enjoyed this small spot off Harbor blvd. The 5 for $25 Inari deal was really attractive and everything tasted so good! We shared the Eel, tuna, and buldak chicken inari, they were pretty huge. Five pieces were more than enough for 2 people to share. The eel was definitely the standout, melts in your mouth. The instant ramen selection is quite extensive. It's fun to pick out your own and use the cooker to make your own, my wife liked that a lot. There's limited seating, so it may get a little crowded, but lunchtime wasn't too bad. Will definitely come back for more!

This place was delicious! My friends and I stopped by here after going Axe throwing next door. We were all pretty hungry and were delighted to find a yummy looking restaurant within walking distance. It seems to be a new(ish) spot & family owned. The cashier was really nice and what seemed to be either the owner/ manager was very nice too. He was very smiley & accommodating. It does take a little bit for the food to come out but my friends and I were busy talking to really notice. The wait was worth it though, the food was so good! Very pricey for pretty average yubu. $6 each meaning 2 rice pockets costs almost as much as a chipotle bowl (with guac lol). The spicy meat toppings are actually pretty spicy. But the meat quality could be better. Rice to topping ratio was disappointing especially for $6 each I expected more.

Just checked out Ubu Ubu in downtown Fullerton - a small cute shop next to the pub. The staff and owner were super nice, explaining their menu and how carefully they prepare their dishes, especially the tteokbokki. This place is perfect for sharing different dishes with friends. I got the ramyun, spicy buldak onigiri, tamago and salmon ubu. The ramyun is cooked right at the store, and goes perfectly with the ubu and onigiri!! The ubu had this nice smoky taste with a slightly sweet flavor that worked really well together. I'll definitely come back to try their tteokbokki!

First time trying u-bu. Phenomenal all around. The space is so bright and clean and the customer service is top notch even though they were busy even during a soft opening. We ordered the lemon salmon and the spicy pork. The lemon salmon was refreshing and perfect for a hot day. I personally loved the spicy the pork the best. It was sweet, spicy and savory. I can't explain how cute the owners are here it will make you want to come back even more than the amazing food they offer. Will definitely be a repeat customer. The only thing I wish is that they would be open for the late night crowd after the bar. Seems like a perfect bite to sober you up that's healthier than Taco Bell read more

Picked up a spicy fishcake kimbap, as well as an egg sandwich. Kimbap tasted fine, portion was small for the price. Egg sandwich was not great. Service was nice and quick. But I felt that the ubu was very overpriced! I was willing to try this place so I did anyways. They tasted good, but not enough to justify the price. The fish to rice ratio was a little disappointing, and the overall size was shockingly small for $6 each! :( I thought the instant ramen stations were cool, but I did feel a bit let down to want to return and try other things. I really wish that they would consider changing the portion sizes or figure out a way to down-price the ubu. The staff seemed nice and I wish them the best. read more

Randomly came across this place and they still had their grand opening sign out! It looked so cute so we stepped inside. We were blown away by all the Korean foods available. They have a ramen making station (the ones you see in Korea) with plenty of ramen options, kimbaps, fresh inaris, ice cream, snacks, sandwiches, and onigiris. We were greeted and welcomed in. However, I recommend parking in their parking lot, in the back. That way, you get a view of the garden before you place your order. It's still nice in the front, very welcoming. You walk through the gate, up the stairs, and through the front door. It's nicely air conditioned inside. Indoor seating looks like someone's dining room. The counter is near the back, on the left hand side. I grabbed a menu to take a look before I ordered. Food items listed on one side of the menu, and so many drink options on the other side. Little overwhelming. Too many choices. Coffee and non-coffee drinks. Although they offer paninis and avocado toast, I ordered a regular spicy pork cupbap ($15) and Dubai chocolate latte, iced ($7.75), paid at the counter, and received a pager. When the pager started buzzing, I went inside to pickup my order. My drink was basically a dessert in a cup. Absolutely delicious. So many wonderful ingredients on top. The spicy pork cupbap is spicy. I mixed it all up like I would any bibimbap. It consisted of white rice, glass noodles, red cabbage, pork, and a perfectly fried egg on top. Delicious. They offer a large size, but regular is more than enough. I decided to sit outside, in the back, to get the full garden experience. Although Fullerton is a little warm in June, the garden is absolutely wonderful. It's like sitting in someone's backyard, but on steroids. You shouldn't have trouble finding a spot to sit. There are so many tables and chairs, all over the place, around every corner: In the main garden, in the garden in front, on both sides of the cafe, on both porches, the one in the back and smaller one in front. It's a garden of Eden, with a large, fruitful lemon tree standing in the center. Green plants and trees all over the place, flowering plants and succulents. There's a large gazebo and umbrellas to shade you from the sun. Fun, whimsical displays throughout the garden, including bird houses, curated displays, and miniature communities. Service was welcoming and efficient. I highly recommend this cafe if you're looking for a nice outdoor garden to eat, drink, and hang out.

They are the first place I've seen to feature the viral Korean instant noodle bowl that you cook on site. The bowl comes with a variety of veggies and proteins to customize your meal, making it both fun and delicious. We also tried their tofu pockets, which are filled with rice and topped with a choice of protein. We opted for salmon, tuna, imitation crab, and bulgogi, and all four were incredibly tasty! Additionally, we had the spicy pork rice bowl. It was on the spicier side, but still very enjoyable and flavorful. They also offer a variety of Korean drinks and frozen treats, which added to the overall experience. The service was friendly, and the place was clean and well-maintained. I absolutely love U-bu U-bu, especially their Hangang Ramen stationary bar! It instantly brings back memories of the stationary stores in Korea. The concept is so much fun--whether you're dining in for a quick meal or just exploring the huge selection of ramen. You can choose from a variety of options and cook your ramen at the instant ramen cooker ramen boiling machine, which is such a cool experience. They also offer Ubu Kimbap, which adds even more variety to the menu. I especially appreciate that they have Keto Kimbap, which is hard to find and absolutely delicious here. Being close to a school makes it the perfect spot for a quick and satisfying lunch. Brand new spanking place and it's bomb!! Definitely a worth try and it's also a very different experience compared to other Korean restaurants. There's ramen machines that make the ramen for you and pour heated water into the container. The ramen choices are really broad, the shin ramen black was suggested by a really kind woman that was my favorite and the Yubuchobab is really tasty. This restaurant is definitely a must-try if you're in Downtown Fullerton. The lady who took our order was incredibly kind and friendly, which made the experience even better. I ordered the tteokbokki with a boiled egg and a bulgogi ubu, and everything was absolutely fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. We tried the Samanco for dessert and it was delicious. I saw this place on Facebook and Instagram and it was amazing. I work near downtown Fullerton so it's very convenient for me to get lunch or quick bite to eat. My personal favorite was the creamy tuna and salmon yubu. I never tried yubu and it was absolutely amazing! Also they had my favorite Asian sodas and soft drinks!
