The to go server gave me the wrong order so I called back in to offer to to return the restaurant to fix it but the manager I spoke with said they would "adjust" my charge to take care of it. Sounded fine to me but of course never happened. Please do what you say you will do and not make it the customers responsibility to fix your mistakes. I called back two additional times over the next week to check status and had three separate managers promise to fix it but still have not received any help with this issue going on two weeks now. Today he said now they do not have any record of my transaction yet it's already posted on my credit card statement and no one mentioned that prior. Terrible service. SMH read more

Avoid this place on Saturday for any pick up service. I ordered at 630p and was told my nachos, kids crispy tenders, and dessert would be ready at 705. At 753 I called to find out my status and they didnt seen to know what was my order. After calling back they stated door dash had picked it up... Great right? Wrong. Door dash stated that they stated there were other orders. At 806, the food was ready and Door Dash came to deliver. I am so disappointed that it took over an hour and a half for my food to be ready. Hubby and I stopped in here after church one day for brunch. It was surprisingly not very busy around 11:30, and the inside of the restaurant is very nice. They have a lit fireplace at the far end of the room engulfed by a beautiful painting on the wall. The food selection is decent, and the food was decent as well. I had the chilaquiles, and I've had better elsewhere, but nothing to complain about. I also tried their passionfruit mimosa and it was really good. Chips and salsa were good as well. We were visiting relatives in Texas, and they raved about this restaurant in Allen Texas. The service was ok. Our food was late arriving and the item my wife ordered they could not make. She had to order something else. When our food finally arrived the fish tacos I ordered were cold and I could not eat them. The overall experience was awful, and I will never eat there again. The manager did take our 2 meals off our bill but still charged me for my granddaughters' meal. They shouldn't have charged us at all. Take my advice and go somewhere else. This review is solely about the chocolate pinata. After dinner, for of us decided to stop by here to try out the pinata. We've seen these things online and during commercials for months, so it was about time to try it out. Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated immediately. The restaurant was huge and definitely gorgeous. I was impressed. We ordered the chocolate lovers pinata, cause who doesn't like chocolate? The pinata came out quickly and was amazing. Hanging from a metal contraption, it was attached to a wooden board with chocolate and whipped cream designs everywhere. We were given a wooden stick to smash the pinata. When the pinata cracked, tons of goodies spilled out. From chocolate donuts (apparently, they were empanadas? They looked more like caramel filled chocolate donut holes.), churros, and strawberries, everything was amazing. The portions were huge since everything was edible. Even with a group of 4, we couldn't finish it all. The churros were good, but the donuts were the best. Super rich and filled with caramel. The strawberries helped add a little tartness to the dessert. Overall, the pinata was super fun and delicious. I'd definitely recommend stopping by for it. read more

The interior decorations and designs are very intriguing and unique. The chips and salsa were great and the cheese dip was yummy! For our meal we shared the Jalisco fajitas and they were tasty. The meat strips were large and it only comes with 3 shrimps (accompanied with garlic butter, yummy!) All of the food we had was savory and delicious. The drink pictured is the swirl margarita. The tortillas are flour and they were thick. Overall it was nice. The service was just okay but the vibe from the restaurant and tastiness made up for the lacks. Also they have table side guacamole! We have been wanting to come for a while but they are always packed.. we didn't have a wait but almost every table was full. We came around 7 on a week night. This Uncle Julio's has totally tanked of late. We made an online reservation, arrived 5 minutes early and still waited 20 minutes to be seated. Our server was equally bad. She brought us chips, salsa, and drinks then disappeared. I had to flag down a manager so that our order may be taken. Our order arrived, but no one ever checked on us. The grilled fish in my taco was burnt and bitter. Our mother wanted sour cream with her soft tacos, but we were never able to share these issues because we never saw our server. The best beef fajitas hand down. I won't order beef fajitas anywhere but here and Pappasitos and these are still better. Always make sure to ask them to bring you the Mexican butter sauce with them. We have been going to Uncle Julio's for many years. Recently their food and service have been going downhill. Tonight at the Allen location the cheese and onion enchiladas arrived lukewarm as did the cup of queso appetizer. We asked for the enchiladas to be warmed up. They remade the enchiladas which was nice, but this time they forgot to add onions and they were only a little warmer. The iced tea was warm. The did not bring any extra ice. Food is probably the worst Mexican I have ever had. First their salsa tasted like an old shoe and only thing I could taste from their queso was tomatoes. Then we get our food and that wasn't any better. Steak from my fajita tasted 5 days old and my kids which eat anything would not even touch their chicken tenders. Not at all impressed. The chilaquiles were extremely bland. The shrimp/lobster soup was terrible. I sent it back. The 19.99 fajitas were okay. Fajita meat should be thinly sliced. It was not. It seemed like someone to a cheap steak and just chopped in a few, tough pieces. The portion was incredibly small for the price. Someone else in our party had tamales that she could not give away. There was a massive amount of corn meal or masa flour or whatever on them. Perhaps, they were trying to make vegetarian tamales, but that us not what was ordered. The chips, salsa, and guacamole were good, but that is Mexican food 101. You may as well close down if you can not do that. The raspberry tea was excellent. The service was really good, but the food left me knowing that I would never go there again. No one in our six person party was satisfied with the food. They will never see me again. read more

Had always wanted to try this place, so we went after a Sidekicks game. Even though it was a busy Saturday evening, they got us seated within 10 minutes. There were many large parties, but our server Ulysses was still fast and attentive. The environment was very classy, like you'd walked into a noble's manor house in Medieval Europe. Roaring fires and tasteful lighting! Food was quite good. Loved the mesquite grill's effect on the chicken and the pork. The flour tortillas were stellar -- tasted fresh and floury. Genius fajita plate design keeps everything hot. And the Raspberry Frozen Margarita was top shelf and one of the best Rita's I've ever had.
