This restaurant has been here a long time and I've always been curious about it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is a good size and very clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have great lunch specials M-F and it is very worth a visit. Friendly service with a smile. The food was great. The pizza had a great crunch. The lasagna was very nice. We will definitely be back.

My first time eating here. I was craving a veggie calzone and I am so pleased with what I received from this pizzeria. 10s across the board also because my partner got a medium pepperoni pizza and they did not disappoint. The portion size of the medium was a little small but it tasted amazing.

There's something about the change from using corn meal instead of flour that makes most of their pizzas much better thank anything I've have before! The calzones are also a favorite of mine, but can get a bit oily. Most of their menu costs a pretty penny, but it's worth it . Overall, it's my first choice over other pizza places and is definitely a hidden gem worth digging for. read more

Great pizza , fresh ingredients and great variety of other Italian food items , place is cozy and the size of the pizzas are from a 12 to a 16 inch , only thing they lack is cusTomer service , as for sitting down restaurant, you have to order first at counter then find a seat , they forgot to give us plates , and they never check on us to see if we need it anything more , prices are little high but I can work with that because the pizza is top notch read more

I usually stick to 2 spots for really good pizza but gave this spot a try while using doordash..... and man am I glad I officially have 3 favorite spots can't wait to try other options of food here but I doubt it will disappoint the flavor was perfect bread seasoned and crisp and of course the cheese was awesome definitely give them a try .... How hard is it to put extra mushrooms on a pizza? HOW HARD??!!! First time there last time there. If I had not checked it, they would've let me go with the wrong pizza. They were not even busy went at 8:40 tonight 03/15. I told the guy taking my order THREE TIMES EXTRA mushrooms. And then he just tells me you want me to put some extra like raw ones?? So I ordered this pizza for the first time ever. Ordering was easy and painless. Went to pick it up no issues. When I got home I didn't like it I like the wings more. My wings helped this rating from a 1 or 2. The pizza wasn't good and I don't know what it was missing it just wasn't it for me. read more

This is my go to pizza place. Their crust is perfectly crispy and chewy. The sauce to cheese ration is fantastic, and I love how rich the tomato sauce is on this pizza. I always buy more than what I can eat because it freezes and reheats in the oven great! You should definitely give Uncle Reds Pizzeria a try if you are in the areas. I guarantee you will come back time and time again, even if it's only to eat the pizza at Uncle Reds Pizzeria. read more

First time trying Uncle Red's. We ordered a family meal with pizza, wings, pasta, salad, and 2 liter soda. The pizza was flavor was very, very good. I have been looking for this taste for a long time. They could have been a little more generous with the toppings though. Pasta was good as were the wings. All in all, it was very good. Friday night of course no one is cooking . I'm a family of 4 ; 3 adult and 1 child . Feed the whole family for a little over 30 dollars which isn't bad at all . I got large pizza , wings , salad , and a 2 liter soda . I don't have any complaints the pizza was really good , the hot wings were fire(in a good way) . I have been meaning to try this place as it's very close to my house. Finally I decided to come in and give it a taste. I ordered the basic Medium pepperoni sausage just in case. Played it safe. I should of ordered a large :) The pizza dough tasted fresh! Hot and crispy! The pizza was perfect. Thin and got thicker as you got closer to the crust. Tomate sauce was flavorful and just enough mozzarella cheese. I will definitely be coming back and trying the rest of the selections soon. The prices are a bit on the higher end for pizza compared to Pizza Hut and Dominos. But in all honestly you can't compare ! This is like a pizza pie. Good old fashioned hand tossed pizza. Uncle Reds Pizzeria is well known for it's corn meal dusted hand tossed crust, Blue Ribbon Award winning 100% Wisconsin mozzarella cheese and fresh toppings. We make everything on site including our authentic bolognese meat sauce and vegetarian marinara sauce. Our sandwiches are toasted on fresh made Italian rolls and our deli meats are sliced in house. Dean "Uncle Red" has been in the pizza business for over 17 years and was taught to make pizza the right way. Our pizza has been considered one of the best in LA since the day we opened our doors. The sauce is a little more creamy than I expected which was a nice touch. And the tiramisu was really good. The ladyfingers were soaked and it had plenty of cream, just how I like it! I even showed him the menu and the payment screen, where you could clearly see the discrepancy (see photos), but he was dismissive and said the register never makes mistakes. I had a long day at work and wasn't about to argue over less than a dollar. Still, it's the principle. Charging customers more than the posted price and refusing to acknowledge it is not okay. It made my experience very disappointing. As for the food, we ordered two pepperoni slices, one pepperoni and mushroom, and one ham and pineapple. The toppings were good, but this is definitely not New York-style pizza. The crust was overcooked and so dry that it was close to tasting like cardboard. I wouldn't recommend this place. If you do decide to eat here, pay close attention to the price you're charged and ask for a receipt.

I usually get their chirashi (which they also have a lunch chirashi special), and the fish is always fresh and good quality. The also have lunch specials and often have other great specials. The last time I went, they had a "buy 2 rolls, get 1 free" deal, and they have Sapporo beer on draft for $1.99! If you have friends who don't like raw fish, they also have a good selection of cooked items - tempura, chicken teriyaki, udon noodles, etc. There's really something for everyone. They have a bunch of TVs and will usually have the game on if there is one. There's also a lot of street parking and free parking lots around since it's Downtown Bellflower. If you like good sushi for a good price, then Kikyo's definitely a place to check out.

Hello there avid yelp followers! Today I walked int uncle reds and was greeted with a smile. I met with the new owner Ramy,and told me he just took over this past weekend,so guys cut him some slack. As far as quality goes they have yet to let me down. Remember times change, but values don't and that's exactly what you'll find here. It's family owned and operated(not a franchise) so don't expect 10 minute delivery when ordering out. Sometimes we forget that local businesses can be owned by a family and not some corporate office.Customer service was great, I only waited 15 minutes for my order. It's definitely a place to go to watch the game or several at the same time and also enjoy a beer or two! It's very family oriented, and I recommend going on the weekend when probably at its best. I just want to remind fellow Bellflower-ians to support your local businesses, I know Uncle Reds supports it's community and gives back. So I definitely will go back, I feel bad for those who had a different experience, but keep in mind although it is a business, you get what you put out. So don't walk in being rude, besides that you'll be greeted with a smile. It's definitely a 5/5 for me. read more

I used to be a huge Round Table fan. The problem was, that the customer service wasn't always up to par. Someone told me about Uncle Reds and I gave them a try. I love thick crust pizza, these guys hand toss it and it comes out perfect. The place has a nice feel to it. Big screen TV, juke box, video games and a great friendly staff. They make you feel like family. They serve 6 or 7 beers on tap which is nice and the beer prices are pretty good. I loved the baked ziti. My wife loves the anti-pasto. But the pizza, WOW. Sorry Round Table, these guys make you guys look like another chain pizzeria. read more

Like many other reviewers have stated before me, this place used to ROCK!!! Then the ownership changed. These new owners must have never run a pizzeria before. The for sure didnt listen to the old owners advice on how to run one. The pizza is really bad, the service sucks, the place is dirty, and they have some pretty rude people behind the counter. I drive by every week and sometimes I even pray that there will be a huge sign on the building saying that the old owners are back. It will likely never happen, but I can dream. read more

Uncle Reds is no longer. The great food I once enjoyed from the guys who felt like family have long sold the company. In it's place is a group of guys that can't tell a good pizza from a slice of white toast with shit on it. The staff is slow, rude and dirty. The pizza is not the same. These guys took over and it seems tried to cut costs. To the new owners, here is some advice: Call the real Uncle Red and get the original recipes. Then have him train your staff. This is my first time here at Uncle Red's and I have to say their pizza ranks top in the area! It is full of flavor and you can tell the ingredients are fresh and of quality. The crust is nice and crisp, and was perfectly cooked. It definitely hit the spot! I'll be coming back here for their pizza and can't wait to try their pastas and sandwiches. These guys make the best pizza have ever had their wings are huge and only 7.99 for a large order. They also have half of pizza when the lakers it clippers are playing in their dining room.
