My drink was good and not overly sweet. It was a papaya frappe but I didn't really taste papaya. It had a faint coconut taste to it so I'm not sure if coconut water or milk was added. There wasn't any fruits in my drink or pulp fibers. I think their fruit drinks are either from concentrate or syrup flavorings. The way my drink was blended wasn't thorough. I had many ice cubes that were not crushed. When I finished my drink there was at least 5 ice cubes sitting on the bottom of the cup. The lady helping me was nice and made the drink quick. I had a hard time hanging out there because the seating area was small and the music was a bit too loud for me. It wasn't really ideal for studying or group hang out, although it has seating I saw it as more of a grab and go kind of place.

Popcorn chicken Hawaii POG tea Thailem Lime mint

Goodtogo app: great deal, love that they made the drink when I came into the store. Also I really appreciate that it's two different tea flavors than your standard milk tea. Parking: parking lot available and shared with other stores. Hawaii POG with boba: orange juice with other fruit like passion fruit. Thailem Lime mint with boba: bit tart because it's lime instead of lemon, sour and sweet like lemonade. Popcorn chicken (spiciest level): bit salty depending on the chicken piece. Chicken pieces are pretty big compared to other cafes. However, it's not that crispy coating in texture when fried.

Found this boba location using the Too Good app and decided to try them out. Great customer service and fantastic drinks. Will be back to try their snacks!

Tried a strawberry banana drink and it was really good! Not too sweet which is my style of drink but still very flavorful. Service was super quick and the cashier was very nice. My go to before enjoying some Thai food next door.

As far as the Drinks being super good, the games and the atmosphere is welcoming. I didn't get greeted or spoken to at all until the transaction was done. It would have saved us some time if the person behind the counter would have told us to order from the kiosks and that's the only way because the sign said something along the lines of saving time which seems like an option. Fix the customer service or create a sign that says "Must Order Here" and not make it seem like an empty space without being busy the person can't take the order.

DIGUSTING MOLD IN THEIR DRINKS AND THE SERVICE IS SLOW!I'm pretty understanding when it's just one person working but it took 30 minutes just 2 drinks. No toppings or adjustments just a basic To top it off the drinks weren't even good. Very basic and flavorless. Not impressed given that there's plenty of other boba shops close by that are muc h better. Also, there's mold at the bottom of their cups. Looks like they add their toppings ahead of time and just keep it there. So disgusted. DONT COME HERE.

Wanted a boba after dinner so came to try this place out on Friday. First things first it's really small and hot in here. I was sweating by the time I started ordering. There was one worker behind the counter. Seemed like he had a lot to do. No smile or anything when taking our order but he also wasn't rude. I ordered a Thai tea and a taro smoothie. It was alright. Definitely needs a pick me up and some cleaning and air conditioner but drinks were good!

2 drinks available from too good to go

Before visiting my family in Walnut wanted to check out this boba shop since it's on the way there. I don't know what's going on the building says Uncle Tea but my cup says FULI which I believe used to be in Glendale. Anyways I stopped by around 1:30 on a Sunday. This plaza isn't that busy considering they have a lot of restaurants and shops here. There was only one worker helping with ordering and making drinks. Boba shops should have a minimum of 2 employees. Maybe there's one in the back making food orders. But employee was working hard on everyone's order and even greeted everyone. I ordered from too good to go app to see what they would give away. I checked in when worker was done making order from previous guest. Got 2 drinks, I didn't ask what it was but tasted like some iced peach tea with blueberry popping boba. Their cups are super cute with the capybaras, I also like their straws. I'll stop by with my own order next time.

Coconut Throne, Halo Halo, Thailem, Two Slipper Waffle
Jordyn D.

Uncle Tea was one of my favorite tea shops during the pandemic, so I was excited when I returned and saw that they had remodeled their storefront and menu. I had the opportunity to try three of their specialty teas, all of which were good for the simple fact that they weren't overly sweet. I'm usually someone who drinks my boba at 25-50% sweetness, and I was happy with my choices at their regular sweetness. My favorite that I tried was the Thailem, which was super refreshing and probably tastes great with boba! My least favorite would probably be the Coconut Throne because I didn't love the texture of the coconut pudding, and the flavors of the drink were super subtle. I also tried their waffle "Cheese slippers" which is exactly what it sounds like I'm not too keen on cheese, so I liked that it wasn't an overload of cheese inside. The batter was typical for a boba shop waffle, not too sweet and pretty light. All in all I'm happy with the changes that they've done at Uncle Tea and I'll definitely be back to try more.

Uncle Tea is a solid boba joint hidden in the Walnut area. I tend to come here if I end up passing the Amar and Nogales intersections. Prices are fair in today's market and the drinks are pretty tasty. They have a cashier, and a tablet for self service. I usually get one of their milk teas such as the oolong, since it is my favorite. The store itself is pretty spacious with a couple of tables to sit at should you choose to dine in. If you're in the mood for boba, check out Uncle Tea!

House coffee foam?
Jennifer C.

The house coffee was not good to me. Didn't taste coffee, had a weird after taste, and the foam on top was not good. I didn't order any foam but I guess something in the drink caused it to foam. Would not get ah

Honey Lemon with Green Tea and Boba!

Amazing service with equally amazing drinks!! The self service is quick and easy and the staff is super sweet!

Crème brûlée Oreo and Ube mess

Love how good these taste. What a treat!!! Plus, look how cute my tea was decorated. Definitely recommend.

They let me know all the different desserts and options. They also explained pricing and availability to me. They showed me all the different toppings that they have for not just ice cream and sundaes, but crêpes as well. Considering I walked in here, thinking that this was strictly an ice cream place, they have a very large menu. One thing that I remember very fondly about my visit here was not that there were a lot of people here, but the people that were dining in, they were mostly families with children. That may not seem like an important thing, but to me, seeing that is precious More often than not, you see children, their parents, and even their parents parents. So sometimes you get a small group of people, but really you have three generations. Quality time like that is absolutely precious and to see them so engaged in conversation with one another and laughing the entire time and sharing dessert, that was so awesome. Sharing ice cream with my dad at an ice cream parlor near our home is a very fond memory for me. So I guess that's why I paid attention to this while we died at scoop Street. When I took a moment to take a step back and look at our little family, we also were there in our lil three generational group: me, my kiddo & my Mom. The prices here are more than reasonable. The ice cream that is used for their desserts is from thrifty. The waffle cones are made in house and smell amazing. There really wasn't anything more than I could've asked of this visit to the ice cream shop. This was so special. Servers: Art & Austin

Eduardo the owner is ALWAYS very attentive and full of joy to serve us. He checks on us to make sure everything is ok with our orders. Kiren the other owner has been awesome too, since our first visit. She was concerned my daughter wasn't eating. Also, always checking in on us. She remembered us the second time we came and asked if my daughter if she was doing better because the first time we were there she had morning sickness so she couldn't enjoy her food. I love finding hidden GEMS, especially Mexican restaurants, with real Mexican food!! What can I say ?! We love it ! Five times here. No regrets. Always good. Food is delicious! Service is AWESOME! Always so friendly, warm, & helpful since the first time we found them. . :D Can't believe it took me so long to find this hidden gem living nearby and around here all the time. How did I find it ?? Well, how do I, and we all, find all my / our favorite restaurants? I Yelped of course !!! :D I was in the area looking for a good place to eat. I yelped Mexican food and TA DA ! I would have never found it, since it's sort of hidden in an area less traveled, in the shopping center across from the West Covina Mall, behind sushiholics & The Bundt place. Same center where Panera is & Sushiholics, except it's on the back side street, on California Ave. I would have never walked over there, on the backside of the shopping center. Just happy to have found it now! Besides GREAT SERVICE, GREAT FOOD ! We are suckers for birria. So 1st time here we had birria chilaquiles with over medium eggs plate, quesabirria, and ramen birria hehe ! YUMMM Yes, it was good, a little spicy for me, but good. I always have to clarify how I want my eggs at restaurants because believe it or not some cooks don't understand that over medium means soft yolks. They sometimes bring me over hard and that's not what I ordered. Over medium eggs have to be just right! No runny whites and no hard yolk. I explained that to Eduardo when ordering because I didn't want hard or soft; runny & gooey whites ewww. So I'm always very specific. Eduardo said no problem, if we don't get them right we can remake them for you. :D Woohooo ! They were perfect! Not many places get it right the first time, so they always remake them, but not here ! PERFECTION !! Thank you Eduardo!! I was happy ! Can't forget about the coffee!!! Oooh coffee! We love coffee so when the owner told us iced coffee ! Whoa ! Our eyes lit up ! YESSSSS please! It was good as well and when she saw we had finished it, she offered us a free refill. Thank you my new friend! You're the best !!! You made our day !!! We were like we're coming back !!! 2nd time, I had bulgogi breakfast bowl with over medium eggs ! I love eggs with beef ! Who doesn't ?! lol Eggs were perfect ! Beef was perfect too ! My grandson ate all my bulgogi though lol! I guess he liked it too. 3rd time on Friday 7/25/25 Eduardo always very cheerful & welcoming :) I ordered the chicken salad lunch, daughter ordered the green pozole! She's a sucker for green pozole hehe. I loved my salad! It was perfect! The chicken was perfect, pulled pieces with a green dressing that was whoa soooo YUMMMM ! This is making me hungry now. Daughter said pozole was good too Of course we will be back !! Need to try to yellow curry ! Next couple times had to order some previously had dishes like Birria ramen, tacos, pozole and chicken salad. Eduardo also accommodated my grandson, as he loves chicken but we get him grilled chicken. So he made a kids version of the chicken salad and it was just perfect and delicious too. PS good spot for kids too. They have a Foosball table ! So when they get antsy, they can go play! Kids love it and play every time. Great thinking! Thank you for this addition to your restaurant ! It's a plus for us with little ones because it helps with their impatience. This is GOLD !! Thank you Eduardo and Kiren ! We will be back next time we're looking for yummy Mexican food or are nearby. Have you tried ? Let me know if you stop by. I'd love to know what was your favorite dish. Happy eating & happy Yelping ! SYOY or IG ;) PS Support small family owned pro American businesses. So do with that as you will. Locals must think this is good food. Located in a tiny corner strip mall on a desolate street is this little breakfast/brunch place. I wish I had listened to the 1 star reviews and not gone in. I especially wish I had seen that Yelp had their health listing rated at C before I ordered. Isn't it the law that a restaurant must display their health rating in the window, cause it wasn't displayed anywhere to be seen. So first they brought out a large jug of water with some fruit slices and mint in it. Would've been nice if the water wasn't room temperature. Is the ice machine not working? Then came the best part of the entire meal - my hazelnut latte. The coffee was good and the cup is gigantic. My teen had the french toast, eggs (scrambled), and bacon plate. The one slice of french toast was okay but nothing special. The eggs were bland and lacking any seasoning including salt and pepper. The bacon, of which I got a side for myself, too, was absolutely disgusting. At first I thought the bacon had been cooked possibly on a dirty grill in old grease or right after something else had been cooked, as it had a horrendous aftertaste like rotten meat and sweaty gym socks. They made a new plate but this one was raw, despite being ordered well done and crispy. Raw. And it absolutely stunk. That was when I came to think it might be uncured pork belly like you get a Korean KBBQ and not bacon at all. Luckily they cancelled the order. I also got a side of the breakfast (rosemary) potatoes, which I also ordered crispy and well done but arrived as a scoop of mush. They tasted okay but I saw crispy potatoes at numerous other tables. Don't know why they couldn't cook as ordered. I also had the dutch baby. I'm sorry but this is a dessert bread pudding and not a real dutch baby pancake. The inside should be airy and fluffy, not sopping wet. I'm not sure if the inside was undercooked and possibly raw dough or if they make it with some sweetened cream inside. It was not good, and it was way too sweet. Instant diabetes sweet. I will never go back. I strongly recommend that all people stay as far away as possible. The service was good - friendly and attentive, but what good is that when the food is so awful? I also had severe stabbing pains in my stomach for a couple hours after getting home. Avoid at all costs!
