Came here to celebrate a family member's birthday! My family and I have been going to Thai BBQ for years and we have known the owner for a long time. The ambiance and interior of the place was nice with good lighting. We had many dishes and I ordered the Thai BBQ. The serving size was very fair for the price. The chicken wasn't too dry and their rice is one of my favorites. Other dishes we tried were the pad see ew, yellow curry, and pad thai! Service overall was okay. I really like this place. The owner is very nice but I've noticed that they hardly put chicken in the pot Thai not even half of a thigh. It's more like three or four tiny pieces of chicken nugs. And it didn't come with the lemon or lime it didn't have any sauce. It was very dry. Unfortunately, the curry had a black thick, long hair And all of us are light hair and not black or long haired at home The orange chicken has a honey glaze to it. It doesn't taste anything like chicken with orange. There's no breading on the chicken either. Uncle Tim's is due to close by the end of June after 15 years in business. I have known Tim when he & his family used to work at Thai BBQ & opened up Thai Village in the mini-mall for about 3 years. Although they share the same menu items as Thai BBQ, their version has a lot more flavor & quality. Their type of combo selection with orange rice is unique & I have never seen these in any Thai restaurant. But the business model of a restaurant dining is no longer viable as cost of operations gets expensive & serving portions of menu gets smaller in an attempt to bridge the gap. I hope they can find a way to transition on a smaller scale like the L&L Hawaiian BBQ next door so they continue to offer their unique menu & taste to their loyal customers. read more

Great Thai food and Thai bbq! Located in a plaza with plenty of free parking. Restaurant has plenty of indoor seating- could do with update but I go for the food! Once you enter you can see Thai national decor which I appreciated . But it needs a little update on the decor, needs bright color to brighten the area. Way too dark and dim. Dinner invite by hubby's former co-workers. Upon entering restaurant at around 6:30 pm the place felt so gloomy with minimum lightings. We were greeted warmly by an older gentleman who escorted us to a table for 6 people. Every delicious authentic Thai restaurant. Pad Thai tasted very authentic. It's glazed with a sweet sauce at makes it a bit different than the ones I've tried in other Thai places. The Sauté Beef plate and the BBQ Ribs are delicious. I particularly like the BBQ Ribs. The sauces that came with it complements the meat perfectly. My wife and I decided to dine at Uncle Tim's Thai House last Thursday mainly due to an ad with a coupon for 15% off. The restaurant was a 20 minute drive, and we had never heard of it until that day. We arrived, found plenty of parking available, and walked in to find we were the only diners there at the time. Taking a seat we were greeted by a middle aged gentleman who appeard to be Thai. We chatted amiabley as we looked over the menus. The prices were about what we would expect. We settled on Green Curry with Chicken, and their Seafood Salad. Both were delicious. Uncle Tim's is spacious, with comfortable seating, subdued lighting, and few discractions. I see a lot of three and four stars when this place is a 5 star full stop. It is "RARE" when the owner himself still takes your order after 15 years. I had the bbq chicken in a light honey, all natural flavors, not drowning in salts and sodium's. Incredible light flavors. Half a chicken and the unique fried orange rice that looks like Mexican rice for a post workout meal hit just right. My wife had the chicken pat thai. Also fire. I've ordered here a few times for takeout but decided to finally try it out in person! I usually order the combination soup which a great light soup with chicken and veggies ! Its definitely my go to soup on cold days and when I'm sick, or just having a stomach ache. Today I tried the dinner specials of the baby stuffed cornish hen and the black pepper garlic ribs! The hen is the size of two closed fists and comes with the fried rice and a sweet chili sauce! The sauce is perfectly paired with the fried hen, which is stuffed with what seems to taste like eggrolls. Its extremely crispy and is something you should definitely try if you're in the mood for fried chicken with a twist of filling. The black pepper garlic ribs are something I've ordered before, but I have to say, like they are to go, they're extremely delicious the marinated ribs are something they've got pat down the sauce is flavorful and savory being slightly sweet. We also ordered thai iced tea which is sweet, but not overly sweet and the boba is also chewy! The server is also very nice and the food came out quickly! Ordered from this place on Uber eats on Wednesday. While the food was delicious, my fiancé instantly got so sick from the food, we had to take him to the ER. He threw up all the food and broke out in hives. We ordered the spicy basil fries ride with shrimp, pad Thai with tofu, egg rolls, side of white rice, and the cucumber salad. The only thing I didn't have that he had was their white rice, which was really stale and old tasting, and their weird honey sauce that came with the food. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We ordered beef satay and calamari for starters the beef was super chewy and the calamari was mostly batter with little to no actual calamari. We also ordered fried rice,pad thai and orange chicken. The pad Thai tasted watered down and lacked flavor and the noodles were chewy. The orange chicken tasted like they only poured honey on it and also lacked much flavor according to my husband, it looked unappetizing so I did not try it. Finally the fried rice had a white HAIR in it and I was absolutely disappointed. After finding the hair I couldn't stomach eating any more of their food as I was disgusted. After my husband got up to pay I noticed a worker hovering behind him while my husband was paying. He was literally looking over his shoulders maybe to see how much he was tipping or if he was tipping at all? Either way, It was extremely uncomfortable. The service definitely needs to be worked on. I ordered a Thai iced tea and sticky rice w mango for carry-out. The fact that not one person was dining in there shoulda been a telltale sign... Thai iced tea score: 2/5 A lil too sweet for my liking.. Maybe there wasn't enough milk or half & half inside.. The rice was stored or microwaved inside a plastic bag!! I saw the person taking the rice out of the lil baggy and fluffing it up. It wasn't even sticky. We also ordered the crispy catfish to try something new. The pad see ew looked really plain but had a decent amount of flavor. Superb choice for a hearty Thai takeout dinner. I typically call the order in and can expect the food to be ready within 15 minutes. The family who runs the restaurant is friendly and it's always a pleasure to see them. The man who I presume is Uncle Tim himself is a gregarious fellow. My favorite dishes here are pretty basic, but they're good nonetheless: spicy basil fried rice with chicken, pad see ew with beef, and a pad Thai with shrimp. Every dish is made well, flavorful, and satisfying. My only negative would be the portion sizes on the fried noodle dishes are usually small - don't count on one of those being enough for more than 2 diners. But still, I would highly recommend.
