This place has been on my list for a while , and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Cajun chicken biscuit and it was prepared well, had good flavor and the sauce that comes with it (I believe it's a blackened ranch) was very delicious and the avocado was super fresh. How can I forget the biscuit ?! Lite and fluffy. The orange juice was great as well and had the perfect amount of pulp . The service was very friendly and easy to order, I love how they find you a seat as well. Definitely busy on a Friday morning but a great atmosphere. I will definitely be back to try another menu item.

Came here for Father's Day and it was good! I have never had biscuits and gravy because I am gluten free, and always thought I would be missing out on things. Alas, I still have not had biscuits and gravy because was tempted by the other GF options on the menu. I got the standard egg sandwich on a GF biscuit which is not nearly as cool but I enjoyed it and I just wasn't feeling a heavy gravy that early in the day. The people I was with got a fried chicken on a biscuit and the father in law got a plate with eggs, has browns, a pancake and a biscuit. Lots of food and good portions. Tables by us seemed to be inundated by the amount of food. Service was good. You check out with a cashier and then runners bus and run you to your table. Thought the runners did a good job making us taken care of. In the end, I'll be back to try biscuits and gravy, unless I am tempted by another biscuit with one of their delicious spreads.

This place is a great breakfast spot! You order at the counter and then they tell you where to sit. We got two breakfast sandwiches (classic egg and cheese, add bacon) and the cheesy egg kids breakfast. The kids portions were huge! The eggs were cooked perfectly (scrambled on one and over easy on the other). We also got a biscuit and honey butter, which heated up great the next day! They close early so don't be late!!

OK... holy F this place is GOOD. I had saved Union Biscuit in one of my Yelp collections forever ago and this morning I woke up and said, "today's the day." And wow... I'm so glad I finally came. One of the reviews said, "holy f this place is good," and I'm gonna have to second that because the food was AMAZING. These were hands down the best shrimp and grits I've had in my entire life. And mind you, shrimp and grits isn't even something I eat all the time. I first started eating it maybe two years ago from a spot on the east side and I thought THAT was good... but this? This doesn't even compare. So much flavor. The grits were smooth, creamy, and had little pieces of bacon mixed in that gave it the perfect touch. Every bite just tasted comforting and rich without being too heavy. I don't even know what else to say other than goddamn... that was amazing. It genuinely tasted like it was made with love, like somebody's grandma was back there cooking for me. It was warm, soothing, and honestly exactly what I needed after a super windy night and cold morning. This meal literally revived me. I also ordered a single pancake and OMG... again, probably one of the best pancakes I've had in a long time. So fluffy, soft, buttery, and the syrup amount was perfect. Nothing felt overly sweet or overwhelming. Everything was just RIGHT. Even the coffee was amazing. Another thing I loved was the setup. They give you a mug and you can get up and refill your own coffee or water whenever you want. I actually loved that because I didn't have to wait around for a server, even though all the staff were super friendly and welcoming. It just made the whole experience feel comfortable and relaxed. I went Monday morning around 10-ish and it wasn't too crowded yet, but it was definitely starting to fill up, so I'm glad I got there when I did. I sat by the window with this beautiful money tree (hope he thrives by that window) in front of me and nice scenery outside and everything just felt... good. The vibe was right. The food was right. The whole experience felt cozy and comforting. Can't wait to come back.

Yes please! I would break some major laws to eat Union Biscuit regularly. Luckily, I can make the short drive and just wait in line. The biscuits are fresh, flaky, and soft. They are not the heavy, out of a can that you smack on the counter Pillsbury dough we grew up on. The gravy is spectacular. Light, full of flavor, spread of joy that will make your morning. The fried chicken was awesome, and the coffee is really good too! Not that it matters because I would fight for parking in a hole in the wall, but there's plenty of parking, restaurant was clean, and the set up was well organized for a small place. If you haven't tried Union Biscuit, go! Now!

Service When you walk in you can get a laminated menu or order off the board at the counter. Very nice staff. Food We ordered the traditional sausage biscuits and gravy and the french toast. The biscuits were soft and moist the gravy is a little runny. I wish it was thicker and would be nice to have a spicy sausage option. The french toast on the other hand very very good has strawberries blueberries walnuts and cream very good. B&G 7.5 out of 10. They have self serve soft drinks tea and coffee. French Toast easy 9.5 out of 10. Ambiance very nice and simple and clean.

I visited because they offer vegan options. They have a few items, and I brought my own creamer for the coffee. I didn't check for dairy-free creamer, but they have small creamers next to the coffee. There's also a coffee roaster nearby for specialty coffee. My friend loved the blueberry pancakes, praising their flavor. My vegan biscuit and chicken with gravy sandwich was decent; the chicken was a bit tough, likely over-microwaved, but decent flavorful. The staff is helpful and there's a lot of seating. But it did get quite busy at around 9 AM.

Cute spot with a casual, welcoming vibe. You order at the counter, then they bring the food to your table and even help find seating for your group. We ordered the junior chocolate chip pancakes, vegan biscuits and gravy, vegan chicken fried chicken sandwich, and bread pudding -- everything was really good. The restaurant was clean, service was friendly, and the prices were reasonable too. Definitely happy we tried it and we'll be back!

This place was very good! They have a gluten sensitive menu and the biscuits are awesome! The owner was there when I ordered and I really wanted French toast but I'm gluten sensitive so I can't eat a whole flour based biscuit she was willing to work with me to make a gluten free biscuit in the French toast batter (warning: if you have an actual gluten allergy you can't do this!!! I'm only intolerant so cross contamination doesn't bother me drastically but their gluten free biscuits are fantastic without doing this!). Everything was clearly fresh and made to order. You order at the counter then sit down and they bring the food to you. The spot itself was very modern and simple, just the kind of place to go and grab a nice peaceful breakfast! Nice breakfast spot. They have a self-serve unlimited coffee bar, which is a nice touch. The beignets were really good, and the fried chicken biscuit with mushroom gravy was delicious--the gravy complemented the biscuit perfectly (I ordered it on the side so it wouldn't get soggy). The Breakfast Club (egg, bacon, cheese) was good too, though probably wouldn't order it again. It was pretty packed since we went on a Sunday, but the wait was only about 15 minutes, so not bad at all. Only downside was that some items on the menu weren't available. Staff was very nice. Overall a good place for breakfast or to hang out with friends.

My husband and I visited Union Biscuit today. The experience was pleasant and everything was perfectly fine, but it's probably not somewhere we'll return. For us, the biscuit-to-chicken ratio felt a bit off, with quite a bit more biscuit than chicken, which made the sandwich feel a little heavy. We also found ourselves wishing the biscuit and chicken tasted a bit more freshly made, as the overall flavor didn't quite have that just-prepared feel. The staff was friendly and the visit was enjoyable overall, but the food just didn't quite stand out enough for us to make it a repeat stop.

The shrimp and grits were really great. I don't even like grits and these were amazing!

Sometimes you just got to go. Have a really good biscuit. I'll tell you what, my grandmother made the best biscuits in the world. So when I go out and have a biscuit, hers where the benchmark by which all other biscuits are judged. I got to tell you Union Biscuit may have bested my grandma. This place is a little bit hard to find, it's tucked away in a shopping center around back so you really can't see it from the street, so definitely use your GPS to help you get there. Plenty of parking and the restaurant itself once you get there is very bright, warm, and inviting. When you walk in, there is a little A-frame placard that gives you the instructions. Basically it's grab a menu, wait in line, order at the counter, and a table number will be given to you. You. This place definitely gets busy on the weekends, but the line moves pretty quickly. The coffee bar will serve yourself, which I was a little taken aback by, but it actually worked very smoothly. The coffee itself was very tasty and wonderful. Plenty of cream sweeteners and such. Plus a serve yourself water bar. One interesting thing about Union biscuit is that you are a signed a table. Which I have never experienced before, but it actually makes sense. The restaurant itself is bright and airy with Windows everywhere so you can look out and see the mountains. There is also outdoor seating on a patio which is very nice as well. I was torn between the Korean chicken biscuit and the peanut butter and jelly and bacon and chicken biscuit. I opted for the peanut butter and jelly and bacon, just because it sounded amazing. Spoiler alert: it was! My girlfriend had the shrimp and grits, and she loved them! I myself am not a fan of grits, but I tasted them and they were so good.. Bottom line? This place is definitely on my list of breakfast places to go back to. It's really really good, and definitely has a warm fuzzy vibe to it. All the server staff was friendly and kind, and even a little chatty. Not an overbearing way but just in a nice welcome to my house sort of way.

Very cool breakfast spot. Pretty quaint inside and some outdoor seating too. The employees were all nice and the food was great. My friend got the Club sandwich and I got the Fried Chicken with Sweet Potato Pancakes (wow!!!). So good.

We always make a…read morestop in Vegas to stock up on groceries and grab brunch before heading to Zion for camping. The food here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious - but they really need to step up their dishwashing and make sure the food is served hot. There's nothing worse than ordering coffee and seeing purple lipstick on the rim of your cup. It makes you want to leave right away. Then comes the inner debate - do you say something and risk being that customer, or just wipe it off and move on? On top of that, getting food that's supposed to be hot but arrives cold is frustrating. You sit there wishing you were at home where you could just microwave it - because the food is that good and would taste even better at the right temperature. Our experience wasn't helped by our waiter, who seemed disinterested after the lipstick incident (same guy mentioned in previous reviews that comes off rude AF/ agreed!). We didn't feel like asking for much after that. On the bright side, one of the waitresses was amazing - she looked like she was carrying the whole place. The chef clearly knows what she's doing because the food coming out of the kitchen was fantastic. That said, attention needs to be paid to cleanliness and serving hot food. There's no excuse for that. Despite these issues, I gave it five stars because the problems are fixable and don't take away from how incredible the food is. For reference, we visited on Friday, January 3rd, in the morning. There was a nearby parking structure and no wait time. The decor is a mix of farm-to-table and modern bistro - nothing overly exciting or disappointing. We were just looking for a good brunch spot, and this place is truly a hidden gem. Hopefully, they address the concerns we mentioned because it's worth coming back for! __________ To the Chef, Your food is incredible - truly Michelin-worthy. However, the staff is serving it cold and sometimes on dirty dishes. This isn't the first review mentioning these issues. Also, the tall white guy with grey hair was incredibly condescending and rude. Hospitality doesn't seem to be the right fit for him. It's disappointing to see someone like that representing the amazing work and love you pour into your dishes. On the flip side, the waitress with long brown hair was picking up the slack and holding the place together. She deserves recognition - maybe even a promotion. I hope you see this because if the team can consistently serve food hot and on clean dishware, this place could easily become the top brunch spot around. We appreciate your talent and hope this feedback is helpful! - Vee & Mike

It has a rustic, darker ambiance and not your usual bright and sunny brunch spots. The menu not too big, but offered enough varieties that we decided to try the biscuit and gravy as well as the corned bee hash. We also got house coffee and they were from mother ship coffee. Food came out quickly, but they were lukewarm and felt like it was already made and just put under a food light to be kept warm. The biscuit was good and soft, but the gravy was a little too salty. The corned beef came in a smaller portion than I expected, and the beef was diced too thin that they didn't have great texture and flavor. Coffee was good, but overall food was not as good as we'd expect. Service was average, the waitress was nice but didn't offer much service besides bringing out initial water and coffee over. No one really checked in on us after the food was served. I'd most likely not be back as there are many other brunch places in the downtown area to explore.

We were enjoying the music and it was a vibe until it came to pay the bill. At 9:30 PM, a full 30 minutes before the posted closing time of 10:00 PM, the staff began rushing us out while my wife was still eating. When it came time to pay our bill, our bank cards were temporarily unavailable due to a system outage. We had the money. This was not a financial issue. It was a technical one we were actively working to resolve. Instead of being given a moment, security surrounded our table and treated us as though we were attempting to leave without paying. We were not. We never attempted to leave. I want to note that a couple of the security members were actually kind and professional throughout. A manager then approached with immediate hostility white male, tattoos, wearing a white crop shirt, and beige pants) no introduction, and no interest in hearing our explanation. I want to Emphasize That everyone working there refused to give me his name (white male) I even attempted to ask him and he walked away. He made demeaning remarks about our finances and specifically told us that if we didn't pay, he would call the police and trespass us, but if we paid, he would not. We paid. My brother sent $30 via Zelle directly to a security staff member to settle the bill. It was paid in full. He called the police anyway. And trespassed us anyway. I had offered to leave my ID as collateral, leave card information on file, or return the next morning. Every offer was refused before we even got to that point. The responding officers acknowledged his behavior was inappropriate. His own staff was visibly uncomfortable. Unless you are prepared to be treated as a suspect over something completely outside your control, I would think twice before dining here.
