I own a 2019 Tesla Model 3 Performance and don't care for the look (ride height) of the stock suspension. Initially, I spoke with Jeff at UP over the phone to inquire about the effect their dual rate lowering springs would have on the overall softness of the the car's ride. I have previous experience with coilovers on a BMW E46 M3 and loved the handling improvements of the coilovers during cornering. What I didn't love about the coilovers was the stiffness of the ride when commuting to/from work on LA freeways. I didn't want the ride on the Tesla Model 3 to be so stiff that it made the car uncomfortable. Jeff explained the options available and I decided to go with his recommendation of UP Super Performance springs and UP adjustable sway bars. The result is excellent. The ride is "as advertised"...actually feels a bit softer than stock on smoother roads and a bit more firm on bumpier roads and during aggressive cornering. The improvement to handling during aggressive cornering is huge! As I had springs and sway bars installed, not sure how much of the improvement in cornering is due to the springs and how much is due to the sway bars. Overall, I am super happy..no regrets. I live in Thousand Oaks, CA (about 1 hour away) so I decided to have UP do the installation. The price for install was super reasonable (in my opinion). I figured UP has a ton of experience installing their products and that they would the job correctly. Showed up for my appointment at 9:30 and they were done at about 11:15. They had even boxed up my stock springs and sway bars and loaded them in the back of my car for me to take home. Waited in their lounge area on a nice comfortable couch with complimentary wifi and drinks. Overall, I couldn't be happier! read more

The overall cost for the springs and installation is reasonable compared to other places. I arrived on my scheduled day and while for the installation to be completed, I waited in the lounging area. My personal experience with Unplugged and ALL the team there was amazing. They seemed to be the only company capable of removing the rear passenger seat from my 2022 Model X Tesla. I needed space to put a wheelchair. It fit perfect. They made the floor area where the seat was located look as if it came from the factory that way. What a great custom job. Really frustrated with these guys. I placed an order for Mild springs for my Model 3 a few months ago. I was told that they were in production and that they don't know when to expect a shipment but to just hang tight. I understand that design and production can take time and I am willing to be somewhat paitent. However, I am surprised that a shop that supposedly has a wide range of quality aftermarket products is never available for contact. I have left messages on their answering machine twice in the middle of the day with no response. The only luck I had was Jeffery (sales) getting back to me via email a week after leaving my first message. I have yet to get a response back once again after a few days wanting to either change or cancel my order. I'm writing to give my review of my UP Model Y luxury suspension. While it took me a few weeks to finally get it installed it was worth the wait. I didn't notice a big change at first. Once the suspension settled in it has made for a wonderful ride. The bumps in the road are significantly smoother and driving my Model Y is a lot more enjoyable. The improvement has been particularly noticeable on my current 900+ mile road trip to Florida. In my view, this is the suspension that Tesla should put on all its Model Ys. Came here to have lowering springs installed on my Model 3. Was charged $300 flat for installation, which I feel is a fair/competitive price. I brought in my own springs, as their product was/has been sold out. Very happy with the results. They estimated a 2 hour turnaround, which was pretty accurate. Worked with Justin and Dave, but based on my observations, overall staff is very knowledgeable and experienced with Tesla's and offer a wide array of services. Very courteous and professional. After my last review, Kirk reached out to me. Whatever I had done to my Frunk did not do the job and it continued to not work properly. After talking with Kirk, he believed there was some miss communication and told me he would like a chance to fix the Frunk, no additional charge. I set up the third appointment, this time Kirk connected with someone from Hansshow, and at that appointment, it was determined a part was faulty, and UP dealt with Hansshow in getting the part. I set up the fourth appointment and after seven hours the part was replaced, the firmware was updated, and it was discovered the locking mechanism for the Frunk was not working properly. The technician working on my Tesla was able to identify that and swapped out that part with a Tesla they had on-site. At the demo, before I left the Frunk worked without any issues. I'm not going to recommend or not recommend UP. I'll let this review speak for itself. read more

I think Unplugged Performance still has the best aftermarket parts that can be purchased and they always go the extra mile to fix any issues that may arrive. I have had nothing but positive experiences buying their products and still plan too. This was the only part I ever had any issues with and I don't believe they really knew why the issue was so common. Even the quality of the bumper was top notch besides the fitment issues, but they sell many other products and have some of the most amazing body kits for Tesla's. I still think they are the best in making quality products and they continue to make more exceptional products. I never ended up using the bumper and they never did anything else besides offering to help with the install. It wasn't due to something they did for the product I bought for me to write this. It's just the fact that they would have done several things if I did choose to keep the bumper and they have always had an impeccable history of trying to resolve any customer that may have had issues as I have seen it from many different sites where they did installs for free regarding the same product. I'm simply writing it cause I know that they are willing to work with any customer to resolve issues accordingly. I plan to purchase more of their products in the future as I don't believe this one issue I had is anyway the norm for 99% of the products they sell. They have always been helpful and gone out of their way to resolve issues that customers have. With that said they have the most amazing kit every made with their S Apex Kit that is nothing sort of remarkable in every way. This was not something they asked me too do but something that I felt was necessary just from the their professionalism regarding issues like mine and even more so other issues I have seen them resolve for other customers. Nothing but respect for companies who are willing to do what they are, which is definitely not the case for most companies. I will always recommend their products and their services and plan to buy many more of their products in the future. read more

I waited 4 MONTHS for an aerokit for my Tesla Model X, which never materialized. They really promote it hard on their website. The only time i got a clear answer (that they don't actually have it right now, "in-between manufacturers") was when i asked for my $5,000 deposit back. Solid company, Max Lopes was the sales advisor and helped pick the product. Had some issues with a local body shop (pick your installer carefully!), but Avi and Eduardo at Unplugged/Bulletproof actually got my car in their hands and undid the bad work my installer did, and put it together properly. Looks great, they did a very good job and kept in constant communication with me. Appreciate the help, I would get their Model X kit as well, but since they know their products so well, I would probably ship my car directly to them for correct installation. read more

After just the first session on track with my 2020 M3P, I knew I needed better seats and a proper harness for support. I bought the UP Ascension R racing bucket seats and the Willans 4pt harnesses and they really do the job! The 'Plaid' inner and UP alcantra outers look great in my Midnight Silver Metallic 3. I'm 5'8", medium build and they fit me perfectly. Highly recommend. Also bought the adjustable sway bars. Can't say exactly how much difference they made, but the car feels better, the bars were easy to install and they don't make noise! I bought the Tesla Model 3 Ascension front bumper from them but when my body shop technicians checked the condition, it was pretty terrible. The bumper itself is very heavy and there were too many imperfections to count. You can run your finger on the surface and feel the dips and bumps that would be very obvious after the paint job. The bumper was sold to me at $2300 for a flawed product. At that price, I was expecting a paint ready product. I drove back to unplugged for 45mins and was able to get it refunded. David told me that there's supposed to be a lot of prep work that goes on top of buying this bumper at $2300. He told me this when I brought it back to return and not when I was purchasing it which seemed a bit scammy. So yes, it's risky to buy stuff here I would say. read more
