Drove down to their location in the early afternoon to go pick up my order. Some one helped me out as soon as I entered the door. I was offered to sit but I didn't want to sit, lounge around, or touch anything because of the whole COVID situation. Everyone one who walked past me asked me if I've been helped or needed help. Excellent product. Oh man where do I even start. Product was well packed, box was clean and rigid. Would have liked printed instructions but with this day and age it is just a waste of paper and totally understandable. I just scanned the QR code on the box with my Ipad and got the link to the installation instructions. I install all my own parts so I can really see and appreciate the quality and detail of the instructions. Wish I took pictures but the install process went so smoothly I just finished without thinking twice. I had an early appointment at 9am, as soon as I walked in I was greeted by Jeff, who right away, registered my car into their system to get work done on it. Friendly, fast professional service and great prices. What an improvement over the harsh factory springs. Freeway and city streets in Los Angeles are now smoother without lowering tire pressure, and the dual rate means that they don't bottom out. read more

Fell for their vaporware twice. In 2015, I placed an order for a set of 21" Model S wheels. At the time, they were doing business as "Bulletproof Automotive, LLC". The wheels were promised in about 2 weeks. After a month, I asked for an ETA, and received no reply. I placed a dispute with American Express. A few days later, they offered me a set off of their demo car so that I can cancel the dispute claim. I declined the used set of wheels. Then magically, the set I ordered arrived and is ready for pickup immediately after. Declined again, as I doubt the set they were offering was a new set. They asked me to cancel the AMEX chargeback so they can refund me directly instead. Which makes no sense- avoid this red flag if you are asked to do so. Fast forward 4 years, they are offering a spoiler for a Model X. Placed the order in January, with a March delivery date. "Unplugged was just getting off the ground, in the years since we have greatly improved our processes both internally and externally", I was assured. Checked for any potential delays at the end of February. Two weeks after, they claim the delay is only a few weeks. A week into April, I placed another AMEX dispute claim. Now the ETA is pushed back until June. Learn from my mistakes: 1) Ensure the product is in stock, ready for delivery. 2) Don't get enticed into placing a deposit or purchasing the item with their promised delivery times. They have great salespeople who can push this by claiming that there is a long wait/reservation list, and a deposit secures your place/order. 3) Pay with a reputable credit card. American Express if you have it. They will back you up if a refund is refused/delayed. 4) Document ALL of your communications, especially around delivery times, etc. This will help your credit card company lean towards your case in a dispute. read more

Just got UP's rear sway bars installed today for my Model X Plaid. The rear end stays planted throughout acceleration and it's a night & day difference and improvement in overall handling feel. My wife wasn't happy with the ride of our 2020 Model Y Performance; so I started looking around for a solution and came across the Luxury Coilover Suspension kit from Unplugged Performance. I watched a couple of videos on YouTube and the guy was impressed with the ride after getting the UP coilovers installed. I had already been following UP for a while and knew that they made quality parts and were experts on modifying Teslas so I felt comfortable ordering from them. Getting the part in did take a while because of the global supply chain issues but my salesperson, Kirk, kept me informed and updated whenever I had a question and the parts finally came in. After ordering the Luxury Coilover kit Kirk recommended I also order the Billet Adjustable Rear Camber Arms so that a proper alignment could be done. So I ordered those also and they actually came in before the suspension kit. Once I had all the parts, Kirk suggested I contact a local company, DriverSource, in Houston, for a quote on getting all the parts installed. Steve, at DriverSource, responded immediately and got me a quote and then all I had to do was make an appointment to drop off the Model Y at their shop. Huge difference in the ride of our Model Y now!! We had the car lowered about 1/2" and the adjustable coilovers set at their softest setting and it is like a different vehicle! Much more comfortable for us and what we use the car for so we're extremely happy with the ride of the Luxury Coilover Suspension kit! Excellent customer service and products. Was looking to lower my M3 and get a better, more aggressive handle in the corners so went with the Dual Rate Moderate spring set. Living in Hawaii, getting everything here is expensive and yet the team was able to get me a reasonable shipping cost. Better than I could get through independent shipping companies for the islands. Once I got the springs in, the actual install wasn't that bad for my first time swapping just springs and not the entire shock assembly. After the install, the look was immediately noticeable and much much better than stock. The moderate springs close the wheel gap very nicely without giving it that slammed look. Much more sporty without going to far. Ride quality was also drastically softened. The roads here aren't the best and the springs definitely helped to diminish and soften the more mild bumps and reduce the harshness of the bigger bumps. However, out of all the benefits, the handling was the most noticeable. Wow! This car is completely different in the corners. It feels planted and you don't notice how heavy this car is when starting, going through and coming out of a corner. I really didn't expect this level of improvement in handling with just a stiffer second rate on the springs but it has the "riding on rails" feel without any other upgrades to sway bars, adding coilovers or tires. Highly recommend as a very affordable and easy upgrade to the car to improve the looks, ride comfort and dramatic handling improvement. read more

It's been about a year now that I purchased the Comfort Coil Overs for my Mod Y and I could not be happier. I am still shocked that Tesla does not provide a decent suspension system for Mode Y or Mod 3 as do do for the S & X but that was probably to keep the price lower on the 3 and Y. But UP solved this problem with this kit and I tell all my friends and family that are considering a Mod Y or 3 that this is a "must have" upgrade that is worth every penny. read more

I purchased the lowering brackets for my 2014 Tesla S P85+. They suggested a shop closer to me in Fairfield, ca. The shop made aware to me I was there first install. We ran into trouble and choice was either go back to stock or go down south, in my mind I eventually chose to come to Unplugged to get my brackets re installed. Best choice, and we made a weekend out of it. Unplugged removed and re installed the brackets and tested with no issues. We drove to Cambria with no issues. I had my Unplugged moderate springs and front and rear sway bars installed today and after driving home on them, I can tell you that Unplugged has quality products. I highly recommend them to all Tesla owners who want a balance of style and performance. From the moment I walked in for my appointment, I was immediately approached and welcomed. Even when I walked in the room in the middle of their meeting. I've been to places where you walk in and you're standing there for 5 mins until someone decides you've waited long enough. Already, I felt like these guys are professionals worthy of there products. And the customer was priority #1. Next, I was guided through the process starting with taking a look at my car. Minutes later my car was in the garage. I was also told at regular intervals what stage the installation was at. Now, I was a long way from home, so It wasn't really practical to go home and come back, so I brought a laptop to do some work while I waited. They have a great waiting room dedicated to their craft, with their products proudly displayed for you to see and inspect. Lots of cool stuff to take in. They also had free drinks available in a small fridge and coffee. They told me it would take about 4 hours for the installation - but knowing that I was waiting, they worked diligently to get me out under 3. I have to give a shout out to Unplugged advisor, Eric Torres who guided me through the entire process, from email consultation to in-person advice, to technical aspects of the products. He was patient enough to answer all my questions. I felt at ease at all times and left extremely happy. The other staff at Unplugged was very friendly as well -stopping by to make small talk when they didn't need to. I couldn't help but listen to their conversations and to client calls and everyone is knowledgeable about their products and not pushy.
