Nice spot to watch sports. Food is ok, nice outdoor space, but the big screen inside is great.

Great happy hour for food & drinks. Also appreciate all the options for non-alcoholic beer & mocktails

Surprisingly large menu and large outside patio (with no TV) for a sports bar. Good for mixed company of people who are and are not interested in watching a game. BIG primary TV centered around one area w several smaller ones by it and a row of TVs across the back of the long bar offers plenty of TV watching. Happy hour specials (daily?) and everything from pizza to tacos to salads offer lots of options for all dietary needs. Would even recommend even if you aren't going to watch a game bc of the outdoor patio. Parking can be limited and tricky on the steep incline.

LA really lucked out with Untamed Spirits. This place is *exactly* what the people envision when all chant in unison that ~we want a Women's Sports Bar~ There's ample indoor/outdoor seating including spaces to lounge, women's sports playing on every screen (THANK YOU), and tons of diverse food options. I personally went with the vegan avocado tacos, which were absolutely delish, and the portion size was perfect. They had multiple white claw flavors to choose from, which was a nice surprise! Service was also surprisingly fast and so so friendly! I cannot emphasize enough how stellar it is to have a Women's Sports Bar that is exactly what it says it is, a sports bar that sincerely and actually plays women's sports. Untamed Spirits is absolutely worth the drive from Long Beach, we'll absolutely be back for ACFC away games.

    Fried chicken tacos + aguachiles

I drive from Orange County for Untamed Spirits like it's a long-distance relationship but honestly, so worth it. It's a women's sports bar, which gives it such a fun atmosphere to be in and the fried chicken taco is unreal. The aguachiles? Spicy little flavor bombs that live rent-free in my head. What really makes this place stand out is the customer service. You can tell the owners put so much love and hard work into this spot. They're always around making sure everyone's taken care of and having a good time. It's the kind of place you walk into once and already know you'll be back. Big thanks to the entire team for creating a place that's easy to love and hard to leave!

So many taco options! Tried brisket, barbacoa and shrimp!

Perfect place to watch sports - especially women sports! Went in for Taco Tuesday and had delicious tacos and a passion fruit margarita. I also couldn't resist their Angel City Pink Drink! Lots of TVs and indoor seating, along with an outdoor patio. Will definitely come back and catch more games here!

I finally got to check out Untamed Spirits and girl, I was NOT disappointed! Parking was easy, and as soon as we walked in we were greeted with the warmest smiles. The vibe is super cute & loved the neon pink sign inside. They've got both indoor and outdoor seating, but we went with indoors. As big Angel City & Sparks fans, we kicked things off with the Spark 75 and the Angel City Pink Punch & both were a solid 10/10. Later I switched to a michelada, and the server even checked to make sure it was exactly how I liked it, which I genuinely appreciated! Long story short: Come here. It's great. The energy, the service, the drinks & everything exceeded expectations. And best part? EVERYONE IS WATCHING WOMEN'S SPORTS!!

Came here for the grand opening and tried their nachos and passion fruit margarita. Both so good and so fresh! The energy and the vibe was very welcoming, along with the service and staff. We sat outside which was nice for a summer day in LA. Parking was fairly easy, there was plenty of street parking on the side of the restaurant. I would definitely come back and highly recommend to others looking for a place to hang out, with good drinks, yummy food and a fun atmosphere.

Untamed Spirits is my new favorite spot in town! Having taken over the old Trophy Wife location in May and hard launching in June, I have no complaints (well, except for parking but that's LA). We've been here a few times over the course of the launch and watched the development of the space and menu. Management is very warm and open to feedback. Service is excellent! Tara was our server for brunch 2x and she is a rockstar. At the grand opening, she was getting plates out so quickly despite the rush. The vibe varies on where you're sitting and whether or not a big game is on. Perfect place to catch soccer, basketball, or men's baseball this summer. Patio is calmer with tons of seating and very dog and family friendly. At the grand opening, we ordered the brisket omelet, chicken sando (comes with an egg- nice touch), and my new favorite caesar salad which was plated beautifully. To drink, we had a lychee martini, seasonal Pride 75, and pitcher of cider. Looking forward to working our way through the menu!

What an amazing vibe!! Came here to watch the Dodgers game because playoffs but this is the place to watch women's sports. One of the only places I'd say where you can cheer on women crushing it and feel a community of support with all the sounds and action of that sport front and center. Not taking a quiet second place to a male event that's playing at high volume. Good vibes, good food, and tasty cocktails are exactly what we got. The chicken tacos and the smash burger. I had the spicy passion fruit marg which of like a little tartness you will love. Its passion fruit is front and center and not too sweet, perfection in my opinion. Their bucket of fries is a hit, the guac and chips are well-balanced, the happy burger is delicious, and the fried chicken tacos are a nice surprise! Everything we tried was yummy. Each table has its own QR code that pulls up the menu to order directly so service is as smooth as possible even on busy days. Looking forward to watching more women's sports with fellow fans!!!

The food is fantastic. Service not the best, but the food more than makes up for it. That's the headline, read on if you wish. This is one of the coolest neighborhood restaurants I've found in all of Los Angeles. It's like being in someone's awesome private garden backyard. I instantly loved it! What a great atmosphere! It's nice and open with plenty of various types of indoor and outdoor seating. I went there for happy hour which starts at 4:00PM, and my friend and I arrived just a little after 4:00PM and there were just a couple of other people there. We sat for quite a while and nobody ever came to our table. My friend had to go to the bar and get some menus for us. I won't go on and on, but that's how the service was. You'd get your drink and your food but they really didn't come to check if everything was OK. My ice tea was never refilled. Had to ask for the tab, etc. However, the food is super good. Well worth what was lacking in service. I had a Margarita Pizza on the happy hour menu. It was paper thin and it was perfect!! Wow factor and thumbs-up emojis inserted here! Take note, they have Pizza Wednesday...any pizza $10. Guess whose coming back for that deal? haha!!! We also had a chicken quesadilla on the happy hour menu. It was also terrific...jam-packed with chicken and goodness. Big yes to that one, too. There are also some big screen TVs in case you want to go there and watch a game. Definitely bookmark this place!

A really nice sports bar with great food! Lots of TVs and a nice indoor bar area plus a large outdoor patio. Very dog friendly too. I've been to a few of the women's sports bars out there and this is so far my favorite! We went to watch the Indiana Fever game and they had on several other WNBA games plus the Dodgers game. I got the breakfast quesadilla which was crispy and delicious. My girlfriend got the asada hash which was also really good. A great mix of atmosphere, sports, and delicious food. Will be back!

Ask the Community - Untamed Spirits

Is this place 18+ or is it open to any age?

    ANY AGE IS WELCOME.

They are open again, no more OverLook Bar and Kitchen?

Trophy wife bar and kitchen is back. see you soon.

Is there still 2-4-1 happy hour all day on Sundays?

We offer bottomless mimosas for $24 and great brunch Menu starting at 10AM

Do they still have ping pong or any other bar games?

Yes we do. PING PONG, BASKETBALL AND MORE

Are bottomless mimosas only on Sunday?

Bottomless mimosas on Sundays Brunch 10AM to 4PM $24

Vegan options ? Or dairy free?

They definitely have dairy free items and I guess yes to the vegan option because they have salads, hummus, and bruschetta. They also have veggie burgers. The menu is on their website.

What days and times is HH?

Wednesday-Sunday from 4pm-7pm Taco Tuesday specials from open to close on Tuesdays

Are you guys showing the Dodgers game?

    YES! YES ! YES!

Is this place opened during covid? If yes, are there outdoor seating with TVs?

    Do they take reservations?

Yes, for 6 guests and more

What COVID safety measures are you taking now that you've reopened? Haven't seen any distancing in place, just looks like a regular bar.

I stopped by and saw that it was completely unregulated and people were shoulder to shoulder without masks on. I didn't feel safe and felt that the establishment is not taking COVID seriously so I left shortly thereafter.

Are you going to be able to reopen?

Yes we Are open ! daily at 4pm Sunday at 10 Am closed Monday and Tuesday for now

How is everybody? I've been missing you guys (Brian and Dante and crew) I'm hoping you're doing OK. Are you offering take out, or are you closed for the duration? Anyway, stay safe and hope to see you back at our favorite neighborhood bar soon ❤️

Brian and Dante were not there instead they have two girls. They have placed 3 picnic tables to add to the already existing outdoor seating. I felt safe and it was great to have some sense of normalcy

Yes. And we open at 9:45 AM

Dogs are allowed outside. No TVs on the patio.

Does anyone know if this bar sells food? My boyfriend and I are looking for a new spot this evening

Good general sports bar grub. Burgers, wings, nachos, tacos, etc.

Then, another 10 minutes before I got up again & went to the bar to order, but the barman told me that a waiter would come to my table. Many minutes later I finally ordered. My drink & my water glass were empty forever. I finally had to snag down another waiter to get another drink. I probably will come back because I love the cozy Scottish pub atmosphere, but they have a treasured gold mine here and they are squandering it for sure. No one seems to care. What a shame! It could easily be a really top notch spot. I'm giving this place 3 stars solely for the ambiance.

Opened in 1922, the Tam is reportedly Los Angeles's oldest restaurant still operated by the same family in its original location. It was also a favorite gathering place for Walt Disney and his artists, who frequented the restaurant from their nearby studio. Walt's preferred spot, Table 31, remains a destination for Disney devotees. The Tam even played a small part in Disney history. It was here that Walt met costume designer Alice Davis and predicted that she would work for him someday. She later designed costumes for *"it's a small world"* and *Pirates of the Caribbean*. We enjoyed the prime rib with Yorkshire pudding, after we had a proper Rob Roy at the bar. The atmosphere is wonderfully cozy, the waitstaff could not have been friendlier, and every room seems steeped in old-Los Angeles history. It was a warm and memorable setting for a very special family occasion--and a wonderful opportunity to dine where generations of Angelenos, Hollywood artists, and Walt Disney himself once gathered.

Highly recommend! Classic Glendale establishment!…read more The Famous has been under new ownership, a lovely woman, who has great new ideas for the bar. Lots of themed nights and engaging activities to really bring the community together. I love the creative and fun cocktails. Lots of asian themes but also traditional tiki drinks. Unfortunately parking may be a bit tough (you'll need to walk) - either street parking (paid in front), free street parking in the residential, or parking at the mall

With the seemingly ever-changing landscape along Brand Blvd. in downtown Glendale, this establishment has been around since 2012 (which I believe was the first and only time I came here). Primarily known for its inventive craft cocktails and a killer whiskey selection, it was a nice place to sneak away into before or after your main event... or, maybe this could be the place to spend an entire evening. Would this bar famously make an impression on me to remember to return in the future!? PURCHASE(S) Fremont Brewing Dark Star Double Oatmeal Imperial Stout Beer 8.00% ABV 16floz Draft ($6.00 HH; Reg. $9.00): Dark brown color, coffee oatmeal roasty aroma, medium body, chocolate coffee oatmeal roasty toasty flavor, mouthfeel smooth finish, and coffee oatmeal roasty toasty aftertaste. This was a really tasty brew and my favorite of the two! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=ad_C9YTJYF9lVr2FOEQLkg 12" Margherita Pizza ($20.00 HH; Reg. $26.00): A simple pizza with a somewhat thin crust that was kind of cardboardy, the flavor was rather pedestrian with chewy mozzarella although the basil was fragrant and fresh. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=kdkvUttCLmMOAGQ1nyp5tg Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co. Danish Red Amber Lager Beer 5.50% ABV 16floz Draft ($5.00 HH; Reg. $8.00): Dark amber red color, malty allspice aroma, low body, malty sweet flavor, clean smooth finish, and malty sweet aftertaste. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=QQjsTWce5Lstcxj5PowrYw Steak Fries ($7.00 HH; Reg. $9.00): This was an impulse buy as something to pair with my second beer. A decent portion-sized snack, each spud stick was hot, steaming, and thick and came with a side of ketchup. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=GVoy0nzxFUL6rHWaxNdG7Q SERVICE We were warmly greeted by a sole young woman behind the bar who handed us a menu and directed us to sit anywhere. After a few minutes of reviewing the menu, we each placed our order at the bar, our drinks were delivered quickly while the food took mere minutes to arrive at the table. We had to approach the bar each time we ordered something, but any empty glasses and plates were collected at the table. Once we closed out our tabs, we were thanked for coming as we headed out into the night. Everything was chill and easy - thank you! PARKING (Varied; FREE this instance): I parked in the nearby original Glendale Galleria parking structure and simply walked over first to The Americana then to this place. Otherwise, there was limited parking along the main drag of Brand Blvd. and other surrounding side streets, the nearby Glendale Galleria II parking structure, The Americana parking structure that offered validation, numerous public transportation options, and rideshares - 'nuff said! ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A dark cavernous speakeasy-like place with open space, various tables and couches strewn about, and a large long somewhat decorative bar with an impressive whiskey selection displayed behind it. I appreciated the exposed brick walls which gave it that old-time feel with a few framed pictures hung on them. Minimal natural lighting came through the front doors and windows while minimal electric ceiling lights filled in rest. There was at least one projection TV where we watched the Dodgers game while music played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=SomLKsk1KVcemeOCHGOZfg ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL It was nice to slip into The Famous Bar for the first time in over a decade, and if I found myself spending time in downtown Glendale again, I'd consider another visit. Sadly, I try to avoid the highly congested area as much as possible. I loved the fact that they had a daily happy hour (4pm-7pm) and late-night SU-TH happy hours (10:30pm-close), so there was always a deal to be found. The drinks were the main reason you came, while the food was just an add-on. The prices were elevated, but you had a good menu selection of libations (nice local craft beer list) to choose from. The customer service was easy, friendly, and straightforward. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $42.00 BEFORE any discounts/tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... What a friendly local bar and a great place to catch sports. I watched one of the World Cup…read moresemi-final games here and it was the perfect destination. Hungary didn't make it to the World Cup this year so that was a bit of a bummer, considering my fam is from the old country. However, my second all-time fave, France, was still in the semi-finals. You see, I grew up watching Zinedine Zidane and to me, the World Cup brings back childhood memories and family bonding time. The menu items took me back in time. Much to my surprise, I noticed that there was a Hungarian kielbasa & a Debreziner sausage listed on their $10 lunch deal. I was shocked that I had the opportunity to debate over which one to pick. DEBREZINER sausage (in German) or for us Hungarians, is better known as "Debreceni Virsli" and made in the region where my dad's side of the fam grew up. It's often served cut up on the sides and has a richer color. For me, it's a bit juicier and there's more paprika in there. It's more along the lines of chorizo, if that's what your flavorbuds prefer. It's made with sweet and hot paprika, garlic, pepper, and marjoram. If my dad had been with me that day, he'd opt for the Debreziner. After deliberating for a bit, I decided to go with the HUNGARIAN KIELBASA and decked it out with grilled onions, sauerkraut, and jalapeños (very hot, stated the menu). The jalapeños rivaled the outside 100+ degree temperature. Thankfully, the cool AC made me forget it was one sweltering summer's day. Also, the Hibiscus Cider was crisp and made my experience and the lackluster game worth my time out. I loved how easy the ordering went-just tap the menu on the iPad and voila, you got the whole spiel. Service was quick and felt welcoming like I was at home in someone's living room with tons of TVs all around. Sadly, France didn't show up to play in the game until the last 5 mins or so. Spain obvi deserved the win and yes, this year's cup for their fancy footwork. The vibe was great and the crowd around me were locals on a first name basis with the staff. With awesome cider and food as tasty as I had growing up at home, I think I'll make it a goal to be on a first name basis around here during the NHL & NFL season.

Greeted by the loveliest staff, shoutout to Zel, absolute sweetheart and she KNOWS her beer!! Love how knowledgeable she was! They have a small parking lot that is shared by other businesses so it fills up fast. We passed it and didn't realize so we parked in the nearby neighborhood and just walked over. My bf ordered 2 beers, we got some lemon pepper dry rub wings, fries, and brioche link which were all fantastic. The fries here are THICK but very good!! Love the crispy bits and they're not oily, perfectly salted as well. Their Cusabi Ranch is a MUST try. I dipped both my wings and fries in them. It's a cucumber wasabi ranch dip and super refreshing!! Overall the vibe and food were great, drinks and prices excellent, and staff, even better. We are definitely looking forward to coming back again! IG: @ammysalamii
