Whoa?! Did that just happen? Perhaps the best service I've ever experienced with auto repairs? My SUV (Miss Clairee) needed transmission work and found this place on Yelp with good reviews -- and sure enough -- crazy/amazing + in Uptown!! I called ahead, got my truck in there -- then they proceeded to shuttle me where I needed to go.... followed by a kind phone call stating the issues with the car, followed by them picking me up at home to get my car?! What what what? On top of it all, the staff was fun and kind, held open the door for me and all... #Totes VIP service! I then get my car and she's driving better than ever before + they recommended that I drive the car for a couple hundred miles and bring her back in for a check-up. They even provided a discount for the inconvenience. I was able to get my car back the same day, actually too. They worked hard to fix the mistake and were reliable. I recently moved to Denver and found Urban Autocare on the web. Based on positive online reviews I decided to try them out and take in my minivan which had a fuel leak among other issues. Nick was very professional to deal with and explained all of my options. What was remarkable was that he stayed in regular communication with me as technicians assessed my vehicle. As I suspected there were quite a few issues with my 2002 Town & Country. Nick helped me to identify the most critical issues and fairly recommended repairs within my budget. Where do I begin.... is it the fact that I scheduled to get an alignment not once, but twice? Or the fact that I had to spend an additional $600 to replace my rotors because they incorrectly diagnosed my brakes? I wanted to find a new forever mechanic in Denver. I scheduled an appointment for an alignment and brake check. I dropped my car off at 08:00. When I got there I pre-authorized my alignment and let Alex know that my brakes vibrated while stopping. I was told that they would get the alignment done and that they would call me with any other repairs. I had to call them repeatedly and didn't get a response until the afternoon. At that time they let me know I needed an alignment, brake fluid changed and new transmission fluid. I was also told at this time that my brake pads looked fine and that I had another 3000 miles left to drive on them. I let Alex know that I pre-authorized the alignment and would like to add the additional services. They told me that they could no longer get my car back up on the rack for the alignment because they were servicing another car and that they did not have the time for the additional services. After 9 hours with my car they were able to complete an oil change. I spoke with the manager and reluctantly rescheduled my alignment. I was told I would have the best mechanic and that they would get me in for the requested services. I showed up for my appointment and the alignment machine was broken from the day before. There was no phone call to reschedule my appointment and once again my time was wasted. In addition to this, my car continued to vibrate while braking. I assumed it was because I needed to change out my brake fluid. I took my vehicle somewhere else to inspect my brakes and found out that my brakes were rubbing against my rotors and because of this needed to be replaced. Always love paying more for a service that could have been avoided if I was given the correct information in the first place. I am a mom, I work full time and on top of that I am working on my doctorate. There was no respect at all for my time and their customer service is horrible. If you don't value your time or money come here!!!! read more

I brought my car in for lube/oil/filter and the service was great! Everyone was friendly and work was completed quickly. When my car is done I was told I need new rear brakes and it would be around $385. However, I told them I needed to shop around first. During this time, Urban Autocare texted me several times saying I needed to get these brakes fixed asap! So, I called around for other quotes and had 2 other shops look at the brakes. Come to find out, I do not need new brakes, nor am I even close to needing them. I noticed several other reviews that said Urban Auto Care will see gauge your car knowledge, then say you need this or that if you have minimal car knowledge like I do. So, if you don't know much about cars, I would not trust this shop. read more

Highly Unlikely Service. Just finished with my oil change at Urban Auto Care and it was like hitting the easy button. Highly Unlikely I will go any where else but here. Great local coffee shops right next to Urban Auto that you can chill at while you wait. Urban is very honest with me about what they saw and basically said I don't need to worry about other needed services for a bit. Gave me a list of Future services that are recommended with there costs. I will be back. Also, if you drop your care off first thing in the morning... You will be done quick. read more

While a little bit on the pricier side of things, in my experience they are very thorough! Everything they fix is covered by a warranty that they offer. 3 years, 36,000 miles. after 2 years or 24,000 miles you pay 50% of parts and labor. (At least that's what it said on my receipt, hopefully I'm telling the truth there!) For the skeptics out there like me who aren't sure if the mechanic is telling the truth, they have a very handy service that sends you various videos and notes on all aspects of your inspection after your service is done. This allows you to see that leaky seal, wobbly link, whatever the case is. It really gives you peace of mind to know that they aren't out to fix whats not broken. Like I said, a little bit pricier than the rest, I'd recommend this shop to others who care about their car. After a little bit of a hassle they were very good to me. read more

Sadly the van is too big for their shop but they took time to give me personal recommendations which really is huge and answered all my questions. Not only did UAC get me a last minute time to come in, they were extremely friendly, took great care of the car, washed the summer wheels off before re-bagging them, got the BMW tire light reset... above and beyond. This place is the best! As a woman I fear walking into a mechanic because they instantly target you and think they can sell you anything and everything completely unnecessarily. I have been in many times over the last couple years and have never been treated like I was dumb or felt cheated. Just the opposite, I think I have gone in with a sound or a problem and was told I didn't need anything done (ie. Squeaky brakes that I thought needed to be replaced but they said they would resolve themselves and they did) more often than they told me I needed a service. Nick, the guy at the front is always very nice and professional. They gave me rides both to and from home, and when they were too busy they ordered me a lyft! Amazing service and honest people! So here's my story...My brakes were pulsating badly and I was leaving town for the weekend. I stopped by Urban Autocare and, as is always my experience with Steve and Beau, they worked with me to solve my dilemma. They suggested that I drop my car off when convenient before I leave, they would work on it while I was away, and I'd be able to pick it up upon my return. Not only did they fix my brakes, they also noticed a bad wheel bearing, and made sure that it was covered under warranty. These guys ALWAYS cover ALL the bases. read more
