Looking at the overall ratings I thought I'd try the spot out. I decided to order their Pepper Jack Cheeseburger. Over all the sandwich was good. The sweetness ratio with the vegetables and meat was pleasant. I also ordered their crème buréele which was sweet, custardy, and topped off with walnuts adding a nice nuttiness to the dessert. The advice I'd give is to spread the burger patties, vegetables herbs, and dressing evenly on the baguette. The veggies, herbs and dressing were mainly on the inside of the baguette while the meats was mainly on the outside. Thus making the bites either mainly meat or vegetables. read more

What a great idea to have bao as a burger, unfortunately the bao didn't hold up well and fell apart after a few bites. You will definitely need a plate and utensils after those few bites. Brand new vietnamese sandwich joint on Auburn Way. I think this location use to be a teriyaki joint. The parking sucks and there aren't many parking spots but don't let that discourage you from giving this new spot a try. The Banh Mi was really good and there was a ton of fried pork on my sandwich. I order the Urban Pork Banh Mi. It was pretty awesome..the pork was tasty. My co-worker ordered one of their rice dishes and said it was solid. Do hope they are able to last. The owner was telling us he hasn't had a chance to do a ton of marketing but hopefully word will get out. There isn't an over abundance of asian food spots in Auburn so it's nice to have a place to get a good vietnamese sandwich. Definitely a level up from what you typically get from your local pho restaurant. The hours can be funky so might be worth calling ahead to make sure it's open. read more

We live near downtown Seattle and drive down to Auburn just to get these banh mi because it's frikken bomb! The texture of the bread is crisp on the outside with a perfect chew, the pork is thin sliced so you don't lose half of the fillings after a bite or two and the sauce and pickled veggies are just perfect. I went in thinking how good can a bang mi taste and came out with my mind blown and with a very full and happy belly. To start off, there is a variety of sandwiches ranging from pork to calamari. Menu is pretty clear; pick your carb (banh mi, bun burgee, vermicelli bowl, or rice) and then pick your protein. My husband had the urbanchop banh mi and I had the pork vermicelli bowl. The banh mi (literally 2x than what I'm use to paying) had a lot of toppings and stuffed with goods. My husband enjoyed it, was it orgasmic? No. But it was good and it hit the spot. My vermicelli bowl was more or less the same experience, but at a more common/average price point. Their ngoc Cham was yummy; tangy and not too spicy. I would recommend those any times. I would come back for the vermicelli bowls, but for the banh mi, I have no problems driving in to Kent to save half the price, get the same experience, while grabbing some groceries along the way at a market deli. again they have a lot of different protein toppings, even catering tofu vegan and seafood options which stands out from their competitors read more

Urban Chops is not your run-of-the-mill banh mi shops. These banh mis are ginormous! The fillings are creative too. You get combinations like thai chilies with pork and shrimp, and crispy chicken and bacon, which I've never seen on other banh mi menus. If I didn't live all the way in Bothell, I'd be grabbing banh bis here probably a few times a month. If you're on the fence about visiting this place, do yourself a favor and do it! read more

The savory meats, crispy veggies and soft yet crispy exterior on the bread. Literally heaven in a bite. Don't hesitate to try this place. And also don't let the exterior fool you. There are some darn tasty ones up there. Both traditional flavors and some interesting mashups. Spicy and not. Clean, tidy, excellent menu - happy to explain and discuss the food. And they were super cool about the 3 of us who were there to meet up and talk for 2 hours. They have a pretty vigorous take-out thing going, so if you can only pick-up and go.
