    two burgers and french fries

A welcome suprise! While doing Door Dash, I needed to stop for gas. At the pump, they were advertising the Urban Counter, which is part of the Mobile station. Rather than going to McDonald's, I took a chance, and it was amazing! Everything is made to order, I think. I had mini cheese burgers with catsup and lettuce, which are a great size! I ordered the regular handcut fries and a chocolate / strawberry shake, which is made with real ice cream. If you are in the Wheaton area, I would recommend stopping in! The prices are reasonable and the customer service is amazing!

This quick serve restaurant is attached to a gas station. It's honestly the best gas station restaurant I've been to. The 1/2 lb burgers are gigantic and cooked how you want them prepared. I couldn't finish mine! They also offer mini sandwiches which I thought would be really small but someone else got that and 1 or 2 mini sandwiches would have been perfect for me. I would probably get that next time since a 1/2 lb is too much. My fiancé likes his burger but mentioned some of the bacon didn't taste fresh on it. For our side we split the tator tots, they were cooked perfectly and a perfect size to share or eat alone. The speed was appropriate and the staff were friendly. We also enjoyed a vanilla milkshake. Again a great portion size. The consistency was dead on, it wasn't too thick where you can't drink it through a straw but it wasn't cold milk either! Overall they are about the same price as portillos and give you a lot of food for it. Everything was good quality. Great restaurant for being attached to a gas station. My only complaint is that all the tables needed to be wiped down in their seating area when we visited.

Stop eating at every other hamburger joint in the suburbs and start eating at this joint. Five Guys, Portillos, they have decent burgers, Urban Counter has some of the best hamburgers I've ever indulged in. I like my burgers like I like my women, thick and juicy and they delivered. A nice half pound burger I ordered was the Bacon burger, I don't usually order my burgers the way this one was topped but this was f-ing phenomenonal. Bacon, onion rings and a sweet tangy BBQ sauce and jalapenos, I'm usually a strict burger traditionalist but this was fantastic. The fries are real much like you'd get at Gene and Judes. This place deserves your business, they deserve to succeed because their burgers are delicious. Places that have delicious food deserve to have loyal repeat customers who keep them in business and keep us happy.

I visited on Saturday January 28th around noon! The food was inedible and not cooked. They added mayo to the hot dog and also the fries are supposed to be fresh cut but where from a freezer bag.

I forgot about this place for awhile. Got some breakfast burritos to-go. They were fantastic and the perfect size. I got mine with no bacon bc I can just be weird about bacon in things sometimes if not crispy. Dave took a bite of mine and actually liked it better than the bacon one. I recommend calling it in if you are in a rush. Food here is made to order which is great but obviously means it takes a little more time. Still just shocked we can get such fresh and tasty food from a gas station ha.

Ordered a Chicago style hot dog and a salad, but the hot dog was delivered to me plain. Plus the hot dog was a grey dull color and cold , like it had been sitting on a shelf somewhere for hours

Had a great lunch here , made fresh and great service. Location is odd but go for it. Gonna try the breakfast burrito next time.

Hard to believe how good that meal was! I had the Southwest salad with grilled chicken. Literally saw them out the chicken on the grill. Fresh and delicious! The homemade dressing was spicy and wonderful! My husband had the Polish sausage. It snapped when he bit into it...and the caramelized onions, spicy brown mustard, and poppy seed bun were outstanding. And the fries...oh my! Because everything is made fresh and to order, don't expect fast food speed. But it is truly worth the wait!

Asthetically pleasing in presentation. Great addition to the Geneva area. I was surprised at the s'mores mousse I thought it would be more of a chocolate-flavor but I picked up a fruity taste to it.

Nothing I can really say that hasn't been said already. I had the blue cheese burger, and it seriously was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Husband had the classic - same perfection! Can't wait to go back. And so glad my "best burger in DuPage" Google search brought me to Yelp! and Urban Counter. I can't tell you how many times I driven through this intersection, and never saw this little gem. This will definitely be a regular.

This place is next to a gas station but don't let that fool you the food is amazing. The bacon burger I had yesterday was delicious it made me want to come back today for breakfast. Hands down this place has the best burgers in town. If you are looking for a reasonably priced place with great burgers give the Urban Counter a try they won't disappoint.

I had the Blue burger and my son had the bacon burger and onion rings. Food was cooked to order and delicious. I would definitely come back.

Very good burgers and dogs for a very good price. Been here twice now, and was quite impressed both times. The veggie burger is my favorite.

The sun stretched across the pavement like it had personally returned to remind everyone what happiness felt like. The air was crisp, cinematic almost. I had just finished demolishing a bowl at Chipotle when, in the distance, glowing like a beacon of hope to hungry travelers, I spotted the legendary Scooby's sign. Curiosity took over immediately. I wandered into the establishment in search of Scooby snacks. The atmosphere was charming, nostalgic, and wonderfully chaotic in the best way possible. I asked for a paper menu and a few recommendations for the next time I stopped by. Little did I know destiny would return me there in less than 24 hours. The previous night had been a reckless adventure through the city. Loud music, shots, questionable decisions, the usual. The next morning I awoke slightly dehydrated but not hungover because, quite frankly, I am built different. Starving and operating purely on instinct, I prayed Scooby's would be open. Miraculously, it was. As I approached the restaurant, I could hear the passionate echo of a woman enthusiastically yelling into a microphone at what appeared to be a nearby high school graduation ceremony. I stepped inside and was greeted by a smile that honestly made it difficult to remember I came there for food. I asked for a recommendation and was directed toward the gyro meal with jalapeños on the side. What arrived before me was not merely a gyro. It was a colossal, magnificent monument to human achievement. The thing was enormous. Overflowing with flavor, perfectly seasoned meat, fresh toppings, warm pita, and enough character to deserve its own Netflix special. I have eaten gyros from many places, including spots run by Greeks themselves, and somehow this glorious beast stood above them all. The interior of the restaurant felt oddly familiar, almost like a real-life Krusty Krab tucked away in the suburbs. Naturally, I felt spiritually obligated to order what could only be described as a Krabby Patty equivalent. The hamburger arrived beautifully grilled, juicy, smoky, and crafted with the kind of precision reserved for aircraft engineering. Scooby's is not just a restaurant. It is an experience. A beautiful fever dream fueled by hunger, nostalgia, jalapeños, and exceptional customer service.

It's a smaller joint as far as standalone restaurants go, but it had everything you'd expect and want from the local dog house. A wide variety of menu choices and green river on tap? Sign me up! The cheese sticks were good, and got devoured pretty quickly, though that's about as much as I can say there. The fries slapped for sure. They have that fresh cut flavor and styling, and were a beautiful sight to behold. The dog was certainly on the skinny side, but I still enjoyed it for what it was. My buddy liked his polish, and had great compliments for the breaded mushrooms. Our milkshakes were phenomenal also. Honestly a solid lunch outing overall. Will definitely be looking to come back the next time we are around. I don't know if this place is associated with the places called Scoobys, but those are on my list too!
