I suggested Urban egg johnstown and it was just as fantastic as loveland! Put my name on the waitlist via Yelp! (yay yelp!) we skipped the line outside. We arrived. They cleared a table and we were seated right away. super awesome! The staff was all super friendly and attentive. The restaurant was extremely clean. Our food was delicious! I had the buddha bowl minus the walnuts because of an allergy and a urban beet juice minus the beet lol. It was so good! Of course their hash browns are absolutely amazing as well! Decent food but just like everything in Colorado it's super expensive for the portion size. Super clean and modern interior. The biscuits were a little tough, the eggs a little watery and the hashbrowns a little burnt but overall it was a decent meal. The gravy has a distinct flavor. Maybe it's the sage they put in it. I gave them 4 stars and I think 3.5 stars would be more accurate. I will go back and try the carnitas next time. read more

This is our favorite brunch place in the Loveland area (technically this resturant is Johnstown, but close enough!). Fun decor, consistently great food, amazing cocktails, coffee is good, and the staff is friendly & attentive. Basically, we love it. In fact, this place is in our top 3 restaurants in Loveland even including non-breakfast restaurants! Our favorite menu items are the "Chicken & The Egg," Corned Beef Hash, strawberry cheesecake pancakes, Huevos Ranchos, and the Breakfast Tacos.... with a Bloody Mary or pineapple-infused vodka cocktail. Ok, I get this place is always busy but it really doesn't give the host staff license to be completely rude! I checked in, was the told 20 ish minutes. 30 minutes passed so I went to see where we were on the list, I was told we'd been removed from the list. We'd been standing right next to the host stand the entire time. I explained we'd been standing right there and the dude tells me we can sit at the community table... um why did I wait 30 minutes to sit at the community table? When I declined he got all flustered and said he'd seat us at the next available...ok. He then comes over trying to tell me I had removed myself from the waitlist, he reads out my phone number, not my number, I never gave a number... he was literally blaming me for a mistake in their system... not only blaming me but rude and condescending about it. This is my third time placing a to-go order from Urban Egg. The first time was great, no issues. The second time there was no chicken in my chicken and waffles. The third time there was no syrup for the pancakes. Instead, they gave me a brown sauce of some sort that definately does not belong on pancakes. Went on a Sunday morning so expected it was busy, but put a reservation in prior to leaving and wasn't much of a wait. Our server was very personable and shared his favorites. I had the Bloody Mary grilled cheese and side salad, which hit the spot. My daughter had the fruity pebble French toast on special and she said it was the "best French toast eeeevvvvveeerrrr". We went with family, who ordered a urchata coffee drink that she wasn't a fan of (stated she had it before and it was delicious so maybe a barista issue), as well as the juice that consisted of pineapple and orange juice with vanilla, the vanilla was apparently something cream based because it was like curdled chunks in the drink that didn't look appetizing, so maybe avoid those things. This place is quickly becoming one of my favorite breakfast / brunch spot. It's pretty fun just to go in and see all the people's face when the plate of pancakes come out. So far too date I've had the pancakes, biscuits and gravy, the breakfast burrito, juevos Rancheros chicken sandwich and the breakfast sandwich. All of them amazing and very generous portions. I ordered the corned beef hash with over easy eggs. The eggs were over cooked, no runny yolk at all. The corned beef was good, but the potatoes were just shy of being burnt. My wife ordered the stuffed french toast. It was three slices of bread with a smear of cream cheese inside. You couldn't tell that it had been dipped in a batter at all. Just dry bread... not the custardy goodness that you would expect from a french toast. Kelsy was rude and dismissive when we asked if it was supposed to be served that way. Condescending tone of voice when telling us "that's how corporate tells us to make it". Not going back after this experience. SO likes the cure which is a great choice. I'm fond of the cucumber melon. The service can very but is usually good with attentive and kind staff.
