We come here fairly regularly. Always a wait. Today was 12:30pm but put our names of from home at 11:15am. As always delicious! Best breakfast in Loveland/Johnstown! I have been about six times. The Pineapple Pancake is the BEST. I like their crunchy french toast- good mixture of crunchy and soft. I love their biscuits and gravy, really good chicken and waffles, BOMB eggs benedict. GO THERE!!!! I would drink love to drink all their bloody mary's but I usually go before work. We really like Urban Egg and have brought out-of-town guests here. Definitely try to join the waitlist (online) if going on a Saturday or Sunday morning because they are usually busy. What you should eat before hiking in the Rockies. Biscuits and Gravy (which is so delicious here), loaded hash browns and two over easy eggs. Their juices are also super fresh and just what you need to balance out a heavy carby breakfast :) Their huevos rancheros is also really delicious and you should try it :) it is a bit expensive here but you will leave full. read more

My husband and I really enjoy coming to the urban egg! We live right around the corner so it's conveniently located. The menu has something for everyone! The portions are definitely the perfect size as well. It can get insane on the weekend with long wait times but it is worth it. I love this place so much I'm updating my 5 star review. I wish I could give it 6! The staff here is so wonderful; my husband and I come in regularly and love sitting at the bar and chatting with the bartenders. They're all so friendly and kind, and many of them know us by name and will go out of their way to come say hi even if we aren't sitting in their section. Everything on the menu is delicious, and every single plate is beautiful prepared and Instagram-worthy. Their variety of Benedict's is top notch, and so are their drinks. The cocomosa, the morning margarita (with pineapple vodka, as recommended by staff), and the Bloody Mary are some of our faves. Urban Egg will always be a go-to for us. Build your own Bloody Mary bar, best pancakes I've had in a long while, homemade biscuits and delicious sausage gravy and the loaded pots are loaded just enough. (Sometimes people overdue it, not here) Could only eat half of the meal. Servers were professional and fun. Management seemed very responsive to the needs of their team and respectful to each. If we could give this 10 stars, we would! Had the supreme pleasure of breakfasting at the pre-opening at their Johnstown location this morning. Greeted warmly by Mark, the Regional Mgr, Randy..the Owner, Brennan, Gen Mgr, Samantha, Asst Mgr..they were all very happy my husband and I traveled from Ft Collins to try their new restaurant. And are we HAPPY WE DID! Noelle, our vivacious and the most absolutely PERFECT server welcomed us, took our drink order, shared the special of the day and was delightful. We were visited several times by all the managers ensuring our food was good, asking if we needed anything..my husband who is a fussy eater proclaimed it was equal to the OTHER best breakfast he had had which was at the Ft Collins Urban Egg...(they really do have it dialed in, thank you Randy). The two things I do not like is they have charged incorrect amounts twice on two different occasions. I got charged a little over $5 and $8 when I went with family and friends. I'm so glad I discovered this place! I thought I'd never find anything equal in quality to the "Egg and I" before they got bought out. The food is sublime. They use high quality, fresh ingredients, and everything seems like it's made from scratch. I always order something different each time, and I've never been disappointed. They also have a great bloody Mary bar, with the option to top your drink with BACON!! Every server is incredibly friendly and attentive. Management is also proactive and good about checking on the guests. My server even recommend me a fantastic combo that wasn't even on the menu: They have a grilled cheese sandwich battered with bloody mary which includes horseradish aioli, bacon and various cheeses. I was in a breakfast mood, so the server recommended I try it with eggs, and holy crap it was the bomb! I highly recommend you try this combo! The only real negative I have to say about this place is they use paper straws exclusively, which don't last very well. So I recommend bringing your own plastic ones if you intent to use straws, especially if you have kids. read more

The real issue at the Urban Egg is that service is SO hit or miss. Our most recent visit we went and we're told we would get a text when we had a table. We never got a text, and when we returned they told us that we had been removed from the waitlist because we never responded to the text THAT WE DIDN'T GET. The response was, "service is spotty out here." Then, our wait person was very nice and not super attentive. Food was good. Other visits we've had great service.
