I sell items on eBay and buy my postage, with a tracking number, from eBay. This allows me to just drop the package off in a mailbox instead of standing in line at the P.O. The issue I've had, on multiple occasions, is that I drop the padded envelope off in the mail box directly in front of this P.O. and it takes them two or three days to process it. The mailbox shows that the mail is picked up at 10am and 5pm everyday. So, why does it sit in the P.O. for two to three days before they finally get around to processing it? I send a note to my buyers after I drop it off in the mailbox saying their package has been shipped, but the tracking number shows that nothing is happening for two or three days. Usually, the Post Office does a fine job in doing just that-their job. However, my latest interaction with them was less than helpful. I ordered something from Amazon to deliver on Monday for my camping trip that I was leaving for on Thursday. Long story short-the USPS lost my package. It was noted that it was left in my mail box (I live in condos) but it wasn't there. I went to the post office every morning to follow up and see how they could help. I never received a phone call in return, which is why I ended up going there every morning. They were completely unhelpful and unapologetic. I never received an "I'm sorry" or anything of the sort. My negative experience with this office is due to both the mail carrier and the supervisors here. I ordered a gift online for my friend who was coming back from Europe in a few weeks. My item shipped from a warehouse in Kentucky and almost 2 weeks later, I still hadn't received my package and my friend had just arrived from Europe. I proceeded to track my package and it tells me that it was scanned and delivered at my location, over a week ago. I know that it was my responsibility to have tracked it sooner but I was very busy with work and life. I give them a call and they tell me they would talk to the mail carrier and would be giving me a call. I never received a call so I called the office the next day only to be told the exact same thing by a woman named Sandra. She also mentioned that she briefly spoke with the mail carrier and he didn't recall delivering the package and he would look for it. I still never received a call from this guy. I decided to express my disapproval by visiting the office in person and spoke with Sandra. She told me that she spoke to the mail carrier and that he assured her that he had delivered it to our location. He told her that he had slipped it through our mail slot. If that was the case, then why don't I have my package? She kept telling me "I don't know, you'll have to talk to him" and was being very dismissive. I asked for the supervisor's information and all she did was simply write down their phone number on a piece of paper. I picked it up and my instant response was "Wow, this is awesome" to which she replied with "Excuse me?" and a dirty look. I say to her "I said this is awesome, alright? You heard what I said. Good bye." I called in the next day and spoke with their supervisor and he actually apologized to me! Well, that's a start! That's what you should tell people when you guys misplace/lose their packages. I was told that I could file a claim but nothing would be done since it was under $100 in value and I hadn't purchased insurance. He tells me that the mail carrier would be stopping by to talk to us and that if he had lost the package, that I should contact Amazon and have them send me a new item. The mail man showed up when I wasn't there and told my dad that he had slipped it through the mail slot. My dad told him that he was lying and the guy just gave him a stupid look and still stood by his bullshit. I called it a loss and contacted Amazon regarding the situation. Amazon was very professional on top of being kind enough to send me a new item which arrived very promptly. Thanks Amazon! If you lost my package, then just fucking admit that you delivered it to the wrong address and that you made a mistake. Why would you blatantly lie to a customer's face? Rushed here from work and barely made it here at 5:30 and Sandra, I believe, wouldn't let me pick up my package. She didn't mind getting me a pen and having me fill out the post card to get my item delivered tomorrow, but she couldn't just give me my package. Mind you I didn't get out till 5:33 and here I am sitting in my car writing this review. She said doors close at 5:30 but there was a line of people waiting inside. I just needed my package. Today was a bit humiliating for me. Being temporarily disabled makes everything much harder for me with the exception of simply laying down & resting. The employees at this post office are very helpful & understanding. I put a hold on my mail since the stairs are hard on my busted & still healing knees. My packages were delivered right to my front door, which I very much appreciate. While waiting in line, a kind employee helped me send a package as well as get my mail for me. I loved this Post Office location until recently. Now I can't mail letters and bills at night or all day Sunday. They're taped off with a sign that reads "Out of Order". Come on what's the deal. This is one of the better post offices that I go to. The staff is friendly and nice. I can only get in and out fairly fast. The one reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because their mail people keep miss mailing to my home. This is THE WORST post office! The staff are very incompetent. I've lived in this neighborhood for the past 7 years and I continually receive wrong mail, and missing my mail. I sell online and buy online. This post office location is the worst I have ever encountered. They are lazy and won't scan packages in. I have a P.O. Box there apparently next to some guy who gets like 200 packages a day. A package that was supposed to be put into my box was put into his. They never got it back for me yet admitted that they made the mistake because the sorter said my package looked a lot like what that guy receives. A few days later, I tried to file a claim but the person who admitted this to me somehow now doesn't remember telling this to me so I'm out $50+ bucks. This location is absolutely terrible. They constantly lose my packages or don't even attempt to deliver them when I pay for express shipping. The supervisor at the locations name is Sandra and she is terrible at following. instruction this or requests. The shipping manager is Keith and he has done nothing to correct my constant issues here. Over the last two months I have had issues getting my Packages delivered on time about 90% of the time. They have me tracking down the driver on my street to get my package. I will b calling their highest management and filing another complaint until they take me seriously. This is a joke of a staff. The last time I was there Sandra would not come out to explain to me how she let the driver take my package out yet again after I told her on the phone to hold it. I have two packages coming this week from them and I guarantee u they will b lost. Today they returned a package claiming its "undeliverable" when I have lived here for 6 years. This Post Office has been so helpful to me and I appreciate all of their work. I had an issue with receiving a package last week and Linda, who has helped me on several occasion with different things, found the problem as to why I did not receive my package. In addition, her supervisor, I think her name was Ileen is also very helpful. Linda had her supervisor come out to speak with me and that is when I realized that the supervisor is the same lady on that helped me before. On Christmas Eve, supervisor promised she would call me if my package came in so I would have it for Christmas. She actually called me around 8pm. Very poor service especially The lady who helped me. That lady always was very rude and unprofessional. That day she told me that I have to drop the prepaid ebay box at the post office near to my house. She told me that I have to use the same postal service as my Zip Code. I talked to the manager. The manager told me that the employee was correct. She printed the post office rules and regulations for the prepaid packages. After reading the post office rules, I found out that the employee and the manager were wrong. The printed rule clearly said that I could drop my prepaid boxes in any post office that was convenient for me. That location was close to my work and I dropped the box after my work. I went back to the post office and I showed the Highlighted paragraph to the manager . I told her she was contradicting and not obeying the rule that she printed for me. I didn't get any apologies from her. I called and complained to the main Postal office customer service and I never went back again. Run from this location. Very bad experience. read more

The only pleasant person at this location is a young blonde hair blue eyed woman. I walked in there today with a package with a prepaid label and I needed just a piece of tape to seal a loose flap and was told I needed to buy tape. Really? This is such poor customer service. I then asked well how about a stapler, and I was patronized by the older Hispanic woman behind the counter, who asked if I carried one with me. Yes! Let me pull it out of my clutch. Love this post office. Yes, they get busy, but every post office I have been to in socal does, and this one isn't terrible. Additionally the people are so nice and take the time to double check my packages. They have even caught mistakes I have made labeling. So I was returning a pair of trousers from Express and was provided (if needed) a postage-paid return label. I walked into the post office at 2:40pm. On Saturdays they close at 3pm. Anyway, I used the tape provided at the table in the back and when I came up to the front to drop off my package I was told that if I wanted to have my mail sent that I would have to remove the "priority mail" tape I used and use regular tape. I did just that and asked to use their tape and they responded that I would need to purchase the tape....RUDE!!! read more

I am at this post office every day due to an eBay business. They have cards and packaging material. If you are sending something Priority Mail ask them for the tape and you do it yourself at the counter. There are also two computer stations that you can check the weight and get the correct postage. The staff will show you how to use them if you have trouble. They are extremely friendly and helpful. Linda, especially, tells me how to save on postage and welcomes me by name every time I come in. If my postage is a bit off, she calls me and we make adjustments. I will not go anywhere else - not even when they had a power outage recently. If you have printed a label, just drop it in the box. I understand they send the mail to Santa Clarita for scanning, but this is several times a day - just don't wait until after 4 and you will be fine. Of course, for peace of mind have them scan the item at the counter. This is my "go to" post office. read more
