I frequently have issues with this post office. The delivery drivers often mark "attempted delivery" when no such thing has happened. I know because I remain at home waiting for them. I also have items marked as delivered when no such delivery has taken place. Packages go missing fairly often too. Trying to call the national number is like pulling teeth. This morning I have attempted to call the local number 10 times, each time it rang out with the exception of the one time they picked up and then dropped the call. This place gives new meaning to the old phrase "Going Postal". I don't think anyone that works here graduated high school or even attempted to get their G.E.D. It never opens on time, their self automated stamp machine works less than a Kardashian family member and there's ALWAYS a huge line because the employees work slower than two snails experiencing carnal knowledge of one another. Top that off with the fact that when it finally IS your turn the clerk helping you (doesn't matter which one, they stand in solidarity as far as Customer Service) does their absolute best to let you know that you're nothing more than an inconvenience. I mean seriously, what's so hard about what these people do? With the invention of that thing we call the internet their job demand and volume has decreased so much to the point that the government was opting to have them operational only 5 days a week. Whatever the case may be, you'll not find a more angry, disgruntled unintelligible group of people unless you attend a Taliban conference somewhere in the Middle East. And if you're on this particular outposts mailing route as am I, God help you. 2 months ago I ordered something from China (as EVERYONE does so don't judge). I never received my package. I contacted the sender & they sent the shipping info. Shipping info said the package had been delivered. I called this post office with all pertinent info 5 times. 5 times I talked to some joker named Arnold and each time he said he'd talk to the carrier and get to the bottom of it and call me back. Never happened. In retrospect I'm thinking Arnold didn't even work at the post office but was just a reoccurring customer waiting forever in that long line of theirs. My guess is the staff was too lazy to actually answer any questions over the phone so they just passed it to Arnold because he was always there. After my 5th attempt to find out where the package was that I'd already paid for, like the staff at this place and their life's ambitions, I finally gave up. I left for a 5 day trip the next day. The day after that they left a delivery notice regarding my package. The notice also said that this was their "final attempt" and after 4 days they were sending it back to the sender. I didn't get this notice until after I'd returned from my trip which was well after the return to sender date.Now thanks to the ineptitude of the staff my package is somewhere beyond the realm of space, time and common sense. I honestly believe that this post office is a model of how truly ineffective, apathetic and unreliable government is. If you need to send something or someone is sending you something and you're on this post office's route, opt for methods more reliable like the Pony Express. read more

I really love this post office! It's super close and convenient to my house, and I have a P.O. Box here. I've been going to this post office since I moved to the area 6 months ago and I really enjoy each visit. All of the employees here are so helpful. Today, I got excellent customer service from Cynthia who just started working at this location. I am so happy she is here because she is so friendly and helpful! She made my visit so much easier, and enjoyable! I see a lot of bad reviews here so I hope people come back and give this location a try again! read more

I have never had such HORRIBLE service in my life and i have dealt with this post office for 11 years now. My current carrier does NOT pick up outgoing mail NOR deliver the mail properly and if you complain he will HOLD your mail out of spite. ALL of my neighbors have experience such issues with our main carrier and we have ALL filed a report with the Magnolia office YET they will NOT do anything to reprimand him or remove him. He is RUDE AND AGGRESSIVE if you try to say anything to him. He refuses to take any responsibility for mistakes and then will just HOLD your mail for days out of his own anger. Absolutely terrible and rude. Kelly at the counter was no help at all, turning away me and another customer with "I'm closed" in a really loud, nasty tone when we wanted to ask a question. Ive been coming here for years.. yes, the lines sometimes get long, especially around the holiday season (expected, no?) but they are always very helpful. Theres a large parking lot in the back in case you cant find on the street. and as i said, ive always appreciated their customer service. Today I received horrible customer service. I asked an older gentleman that works there if I could use tape to seal my envelope. I didn't want to lick the envelope because of what is going on with COVID19. He said he didn't have any , but I could clearly see he did . Instead he handed me a dirty used sponge to seal my envelope and had me do it . I left upset and horrified. Please practice safe cleaning habits especially at a time like this . read more

I regret using this USPS location. I walked in and 2 employees were engaged in a conversation about their paychecks and how they'd been shorted hours and they were going to get the union shop steward involved, already a bad sign, they appeared disgruntled. There was one other customer besides me, "clerk #11" assisted me, a Russian man with an unpleasant demeanor. He threw my package in a bin on the floor then left my receipt on the counter and walked away. 3 days later,theres no record of my package other than my certified receipt and my transaction receipt...my package does not exist. I mailed it from the counter of a USPS office, certified mail and it's gone. I mailed copies of an adoption application, our passports, social security numbers, drivers license, bank routing numbers, birthdays ...everything needed to steal our identities. I've tried to navigate the maze for filing a claim, "system temporarily down" "try again later" "invalid tracking number"...etc.. How is this antiquated, inefficient system still operating ? read more

Problem: This post office is horrible. There is one lady that I listen to, talk to people in front of me and I want to reach over the counter .... ... ... But I can't do things like that. They have no respect and no they can't be replaced easily. Another thing is we can have 30 people in line and they move like molasses and will also hold a conversation with the buyer who has finished their business. Missed closing by five minutes. Needed to pick up package. Stood at glass door and asked worker if she would come to half door to hand me package. Repeatedly she said no. I knocked and another worker came out and stared at me and wouldn't help me. I knocked again. I called and let their phone ring twenty times. They would not answer. It would have taken two seconds to help me. I thought the lady at the counter was rude and unhelpful. I am going out of town for a week and my package will be sent back. Some customer service. Note: Just got a nasty "compliment," (to include name calling), obviously from some friend of one of these workers. (I know this because nowhere in my review do I mention I'm new to the neighborhood. This place is always packed and there is always a huge line at all hours of the day. The employees are nice but just make sure you have at least 20-30 minutes to spare while waiting to do your thing. Parking lot is fairly big because they share it with a few other businesses. read more

Try to use a different post office. Again, I was given a wrong shipping quote for my international shipping. Thankfully, I double checked online once I had the weight. The self-shipping machine in the lobby rarely works. Oy! You have got to be kidding me. I avoid this post office at all costs, except that I'm glad they now have a self-service machine in the lobby, at least when it's working. The post office, and this one in particular, seems to hire the slowest people in the world. This one has two employees, a guy with graying hair and a little short woman with a strange bun hairdo, that talk, talk, talk as the line gets longer and longer. "We also have, stamps, greeting cards, key chains....we take visa, mastercard, atm...." with every customer. In the summer, the air conditioning is rarely on and it's like an oven in there. They always ask you how fast you want something to arrive, which is usually irellevant. As fast as possible right?! The real question is, how much is it going to cost? Did you know you can buy postage online, but the cheapest they'll let you get is priority mail class? If you want to print out a $1.50 label, you can't do it. They make you go in for that stuff. read more

Mailed a check to my assistant. It never got there. I spent many hours on the phone with various people in the post office and then got on with my bank to see if I should take the risk and not stop payment on it. Well, I finally got the check back -- "Return to sender. Not deliverable as addressed. Unable to forward." The thing is, the address was typed, included the apartment number, Valley Village, CA, and the correct zip code. It is the correct address because the other checks I've sent to my assistant have arrived. The supervisor there, Jesse, said there was no forwarding notice for that address (which I already knew) and he didn't know why it wasn't delivered. Thanks, Jesse! That was super helpful! read more

By far, the best post office I've ever been to. I've lived a mile away from this place for over 30 yrs and I wouldn't go elsewhere. The staff knows they're not being paid to (1) socialize with patrons (2) chit chat with patrons who aren't prepared with their packages and (3) waste time with people who can't remember why they came to the post office in the first place. I've seen everything during my decades of utilizing this P.O.; I bet the staffers are paid enough to endure a lot of the problems they encounter. They are fast and efficient; in almost a robotic manner which I LOVE. I never come unprepared; I know they'll move me aside for someone else who is. I went there again today; there were two attendants on duty and 17 people in front of me. I was in front of a post office attendant and ready to go in less than 10 minutes! The two staffers moved aside 8 of the people ahead of me. One of these customers didn't speak a word of English and seemed to want to know where the nearest dry cleaners was, another came in with a dog that peed on the floor, a third had gifts that weren't even wrapped yet had questions for how to package them properly. I'd wager a bet that the complainers on this page fall into similar categories! I can't imagine going into a post office and thinking it's an appropriate place to waste ones own time and that of the staffers. I hope these P.O. attendants at this location never change; I remind them of how much I appreciate their efficiency every time I go in there. read more

This post office gets worse and worse. Ed needs to be fired. Never have I met a more unpleasant person. Today he yelled at me to close a door before I had even entered the post office. No please just rude, gruff, and loud. Previously he loudly proclaimed to an entire line of people that I was rude for wishing to step to the side, like everyone else does, to fill out an international form which had just been changed. I had the previous form filled out and he yelled at me to go away before I had even pulled the form out of my purse. I left went to another post office and was told I could still use the form. I wanted to rent a PO Box for my business use. I run the LA office for a company based in the Bay Area and I work from home. Seemed sinple to me and I wanted to support my local Post Office rather than UPS and the like. I completed the online application and had to go to the post office to complete the transaction and get my keys. Well.... I was asked for my business documentation. The USPS doesn't mention a word so I asked what specifically is needed. Clerk 1 says that I need a DBA statement or an IRS letter. I explain that it is not my company and I will not have any of those documents, ever. Clerk 2 steps in and repeats what Clerk 1 says. I again explain that I will have none of those third-party documents linking my name with my company's name. I ask if they can look up an option because I can't imagine I am the first non-business owner to want a PO Box for business use. They can't look it up because they "haven't been trained on PO Boxes." I had no idea a postal worker required so much training that PO Boxes are an entire separate category. Clerk 3, who handles PO Boxes, "is in on Monday", unless she isn't, "because she may be on vacation." I ask a final time if there is anything that they can do because I don't want to go through this again. At that point, Clerk 2 tells me that I should stop "being fishy" and just come back to talk with Clerk 3. I tried. I really tried. But when the Amazon drones are legalized and all USPS workers are made redundant, it will be the millions of interactions like this one that will result in absolutely no public outcry at all. read more

So rude! I went there to pick up a package after calling USPS and having them tell me it was at this location. Upon getting there the lady gave me so much attitude and told me over and over again that there's no way it would be here and that I needed to go to another location, and gave me attitude for asking her to call and make sure! She snatched the paper away from me and walked away to "call" and was only gone for 30 seconds so she definitely didn't call and told me to go to the other location. Mind you I had just moved so I'm unsure of which one she is talking about so when I clarified she yelled at me saying "no that isn't your main post office!" and then clearly felt bad and knew she was wrong after I reiterated I had just moved so I didn't know which post office is my main one!
