To begin, Anthony and Trey are the ABSOLUTE BEST. Thank both of you for your top notch customer service and exquisite suggestions. Okay in all honesty, I'm not one to consider leaving a review or taking the time for any of this. BUT sheeeessshhhhh when I tell you this, I mean it. I'm not huge on pork or meat in general, but wow the Carnivora pie is OFF THE CHAIN!!!! My goodness. Best pizza I've ever had in my live hands down. Zero exaggeration. And the signature wings....just absolutely astonishing. Literally no joke when I say this, best wings I've HAD TO DATE. The pizza and wings were both best of the best, 10/10, top tier. It would be very very difficult, damn near impossible to match their attention to detail on sauces, toppings, flavors etc. They also have great beer, so 11/10 overall. The staff was nice and attentive, and the dough of the pizza was quite good. The pizza sauce itself though was a bit sour, and there was too much cheese. My wife ordered a salad which had been pre-made and came out inn a clamshell case. The price was a little high for what we got. read more

My husband and I stopped Buy this new pizza restaurant and we're delighted by the atmosphere the rustic look nice booths long tables for community seating or a big group. Ordering is done straight at the register. Our pizza inside salads were delivered very quickly. Knowing that they just open three weeks ago we expected that there would be some challenges as with any new opening it takes a while for everyone to get in the groove - both at the back and in the front. however everyone was pleasant and friendly. We met the owner Anthony and he was amazing and very helpful when we showed him our pizza he knew instantly that it wasn't made to his standards. I gave them five stars because of him and because they are so new and everyone still learning and this is such a nice cool fun place right here in Cary. This is real Italian and we want to encourage small business to stay here!so go visit them and say hello to Anthony! read more

Not sure why this place gets such great reviews. So hard to get service. I sat at the bar figuring I would get served faster. Nope. They saw me there but just kept walking by. I had to get up and go ask for help. The pizza I got was burnt. However, due to the great reviews, I figured it was just a fluke. I went in the other night just to get a couple of desserts to take out. I tipped the gal that was taking my order (she saw me put a tip in the tip jar) but when I was waiting for my change she said, "oh do you want this 20 cents?" Holding both dimes up in the air. Like WTF? Annoying. So when I got home, my friend and I had the tiramisu (which she said was always sold out because it was so good.) Umm, it was bad. Like, old or expired ingredients. I had to throw it out. The tiny cannolis are not tasty. I don't know. This has nothing to do with being shortstaffed by the way. Plenty of staff there. Never again. read more

I really wish I could score the pizza here but after waiting for an hour for my dinner, I don't know any witty or descriptively interesting adjectives to use to describe the "fantastic" pizza I'm "eating". Visited this place for dinner. The pizza was ok, but not worth the price in my opinion. Also our waitress was terrible. She was more interested in chatting with her coworkers than checking to see if we needed anything. Also, they charge for drink refills which I thought was strange. Will not be returning. read more

I went to V Pizza the other night with my husband and two kids and oh my god nothing but good things to say! The atmosphere was wonderful , the owner Anthony was so kind and attentive, and the food was out of this world. My favorite thing that we ordered was the Mac attack pizza - see attached photo! The food at V Pizza is amazing. Warning: you will be instantly addicted and find yourself needing a V Pizza fix at least weekly. The wings and margherita Classico are savory and deliciously charred in all the right places. ;) The Caesar salad is also yummy, fresh and clean tasting. The pizza and wings here are excellent. We split the signature wings and pizza Carnivora. The crust had was thin but still felt light and airy. The ingredients tasted super fresh, I thought I'd miss pepperoni but I didn't at all. The pizzas are on the pricier side but it's worth it for the high quality ingredients. We split a 13 inch pizza and 10 wings. We had more than enough to take home. Also the wings had excellent seasoning and were topped with delicious caramelized onions. we will definitely be back! read more

Went on a Friday night. Arrived about 5:45. Party of 7. Placed orders for pizza and didn't get our food until 7:15. I inquired with our waitress why it was taking so long. She said they had some really big on-line orders. Several of the tables around us that arrived later than we did got their food before us. The food was good, but it seems they should have placed a priority on the in-store customers and told the online orders their orders would take longer. This is an issue for managers and owners to review-- who are your more important customers-- in-store or online? Won't go back again, even though this is a nice place. read more

I discovered V Pizza in the midst of the COVID shutdown. One evening, I called and ordered a margherita pizza for my child and then stepped inside the store the pick it up. The smell of deliciousness was almost dizzying. It's the kind of smells that bring me back to my childhood in Italy. Amazing. A bit of heaven that can reconcile one to living, yes, even in the midst of a pandemic. So I started looking at the menu, and found out that they had dessert! They had me at cannoli. And the lady preparing the cannoli didn't just shove two premade cold cannolis in a box, she actually took the shells out and filled them by hand and generously so! That kind of attention to details gets high marks from me. So far we haven't tried their salads because what's the point of dieting in the midst of a pandemic (LOL) but I will and I love the various offerings! As an Italian, I expect Italian restaurants to have good salads and not just an afterthought!! We have been coming back at least weekly and I have found the food to be amazing and the staff to be courteous, cheerful and attentive. I am looking forward to being able to sit in the patio that they prepared and actually eat there. read more

Not sure what R Victor is talking about; we were here tonight and did not notice a wait in the parking lot at all and came inside to immediately find seats at the bar. The staff and management at V is always accommodating, kind, respectful, and appreciative of the regulars who are here often. The food is incredible and the beer selection, especially during a time when good beer can be hard to find, is always impeccable. Anthony, Ryan, Kristen, Trey, and the entire staff demonstrates immense professionalism and humor. There have been several times we have ordered the wrong thing (100% our fault) and they have corrected the order, no questions asked. They bring a palpable joy and enthusiasm to everything they do, and we could not be more grateful to them. V also offers community events, from movies to workouts. They are family friendly and always at the top of their game, both in their food and their customer service. Their contactless delivery in the parking lot and the restaurant is spot on, from plastic water glasses to disposable plates to gloves and masks on every employee. I've not felt safer in any environment since the quarantine began. Keep it up, V; you're f-ing killing it. There is nowhere else I love more in Cary. read more

Went to this place around 6 Friday night. I wish they didn't have soybean oil in the gluten free crust. However the Cali flower was tasty. Toppings are a little expensive but so delicious. The outside seating was perfect as the weather was great. Tables were extra wobbly. Husband spilled a beer before he took a sip. Kid friendly and yummy. Side note: there was a hilarious kid who was a food runner. He walked out a total of 8 times with food to turn around and go back in. It became our entertainment for our meal! read more

Having heard so many rave reviews about this place, I decided to give it a try with a friend. We ordered two pizzas, the smaller ones, he had one glass of beer, I had water, and we had two ice cream cups desserts - just ice cream, no toppings, nuts, syrup, etc - ice cream scoops. The bill was, get ready, FIFTY THREE DOLLARS! This did not include the tip. Pizza was meh, nothing that would ever make me go back - even if the price was 1/2 of the FIFTY THREE DOLLARS. For the love of Pete, IT'S PIZZA, not rib eye! I can't imagine that this place will stay around for very long, unless all of the crazies that think pizza is worth as much as steak, continue coming. read more

My husband and I love V Pizza. We went right before COVID and had a great experience at the bar, where there were some really great beer options. The food is super tasty; the pizza is perfectly thin and crispy with always diverse options in terms of toppings. We love too that they have weekly specials on pizza and wings to offer new options beyond our already old favorites. The wings are also really meaty and flavorful; we always request extra crispy and find those to be perfect for us. For reference, we lived a large part of our lives in Buffalo, NY so we know good wings and these are good wings! We've been frequenting V's during quarantine and hope others will as well. It is clear that they are doing everything they can to adapt whether it be through offering curbside pickup or coming up with creative options for the community to get together like the drive up movies they've hosted. I don't write many yelp reviews, because as Sebastian Maniscalco says, " it's like tattle tailing on the restaurant!" However, in the case of V Pizza, I feel compelled to make an exception. My husband and I recently moved from Southern California, and checked Yelp for a good pizza place in the Cary area. That's how we ended up having an early dinner there a few nights ago. The food was exceptional, as was the experience we had with our server, Beth. We had the insalata pizza, with burrata, arugula, tomatoes, parm, and the Chicago combo sandwich. We were hosting 11 people for dinner in a couple of nights, so we decided to order two of the family meals; Layla's Cavatappi & Meatballs which came with salad and focaccia to serve that night. The food was abundant and delicious, and all our dinner guests raved about it. The owner was kind and friendly and helped my husband bring the food out to his car when he went to pick it up.
