Eric is an honest and trustworthy rooter. I had Roto Hero come out yesterday to try to clear my main line stoppage, but their recommendation? Hydroblast for 5k and re-line my main line for another 8k. I tell Eric this and he laughs and tells me those large companies say anything they can to overcharge like crazy. Eric comes this morning and within an hour he clears my stoppage and confirms that my main line is just fine, the stoppage wasn't deep or difficult to clear, and I don't need a re-lining. If you have a tough clog or a slow drain they are the guys to call first. This is what they specialize in. They are not trying to up-sell you with expensive video inspection or hydro clearing the line. They don't have the large fleet of service vans or overhead that needs to be paid for. They provide rooting services for your drains. If they believe something more is needed they will recommend other companies for the repair. You pay for the visit and rooting. Eric spent some time cleaning out our stubborn kitchen drain. It has a long history of being a challenge to clear. The clog will move down the line and then reclog. You have to root and test and root and test until the clog is pushed out to the main line. It's time consuming and requires the longest rooter to push it all through. Eric was determined to clear the line and after numerous roots and tests he got it done. Drain has been flowing great for months now. Excellent service. Eric responded quickly to our call of a clog in main sewer line. Within a short timeframe he had the line cleared. He did the work without trying to upsell us, did not charge a ridiculous amount that another big name plumbing company wanted to charge us. We will be scheduling Eric for yearly maintenance. While Eric was working on our house, our neighbors contractor came over and told Eric that there was a plumbing, clogged line, at the house he was working on and that he had already 2 plumbing company's there but they were unable to unclog the line. As part of a remodel my plumber installed a new toilet in the master bath. After install, he asked if the old toilet blocked occasionally because he said the new one wasn't flushing well. He suggested having the lines cleaned. I took him at his word since I wasn't in the room when he did the install. I called Valley Rooter, explained what was going on, and they came out to take a look. They arrived within the hour. We did some troubleshooting, tried the new toilet and it became apparent their wasn't a blockage as the toilet flushed fine and the shower didn't make it back up. So no need to clear the lines since no other drains were backing up. I asked them what I owed for the house call and they said nothing. I had a blocked toilet which a regular plumber tried to unblock with a 3 ft snake. He advised me to call a company with a main line machine. Bob & Eric arrived promptly as they were working nearby, and we found the toilet to have resolved the blockage by itself. They tested by filling the tub with water to see it the toilet level changed, it didn't, so we were in the clear. I can add my name to the list of happy customers. These guys don't fool around--they arrived at my house two hours after my call (same day service!) and cleared the clog (at 65 feet!) within an hour. They had an array of equipment so they had the right tool for the job. I foolishly threw Clorox wipes down my toilet and clogged my toilet almost immediately a few flushes later. I tried my trusty plunger, a 3ft snake, multiple manual water flushes, drain cleaner fluids but nothing worked. After 3 days, it was still totally clogged, and it was clear I needed the pro's help. My normal go-to plumber who I trust told me he doesn't work on drains and clogs (what? ). So i went to yelp and looked for drain/rooter specialists close by. Called up right around 8AM and Eric picked up. He gave me good honest vibes over the phone and he said he could come over in 2 hours after his current project. He showed up on time and texted me beforehand to let me know he was heading over. He showed up with Robert, and they were both friendly and determined how to resolve the clog within seconds. It only took them about 10-15 minutes to take off the toilet, free the clog with their equipment, and put the toilet back over the drain, but I was not surprised as they gave me the confidence they knew what they were doing and would get it done correctly without any surprises. This guy has the machine to do the job and shows up and gets it done. I called Rescue Rooter first. Big mistake. they wanted to put a camera in my line and locate the clog for $425 which they said they would credit to the job after digging up the pipe (30 feet down) and replacing it. I sent them packing. Then I called Rooter Hero and they charged me $77 to stick a tiny line in the wrong clean out which did nothing. My shower still filled with sewage and human waste the next day. So they came back and did the same thing again. then they "cheerfully" refunded my money. Then I called Valley Rooter. they showed the next morning with a machine that had to be winched out of the truck. They snaked the big line in the driveway and pulled enough roots out of my pipe to start a tree farm. The fee was $225. Call these guys first. They get it done fast and right with the correct tool at market rates. read more

Please read! I had a main line clog that backed up my sink and toilet. Called a plumber who came with a snake but couldn't get the job done. They ended bringing their hydro-jetting and camera equipment and went through the roof vents to see what is inside but couldn't tell so they wanted to charge me $2600 which would also include installing a clean-out. I told them to screw off! Called Bob and Eric and they unclogged my main line drain in 15 minutes for almost nothing and even re-installed my toilet! I called Bob and described the symptoms of our home's stoppage issue. I was concerned our house didn't have the necessary lateral cleanout.
