Great service, delicious food, and tasty horchata agua fresca. It is a clean and upbeat ambiance.

    Burger combo with onion rings

I really wanted to like this place more than I did. Easy parking both in the lot and on the side street. The decor is great with very cool car-themed vinyl seat art. I ordered a cheeseburger combo, swapping out fries and getting onion rings instead. It was an unremarkable 3.5 star burger, but I can only give the onion rings 2 stars. Probably I should have had the fries instead. Despite being a "burger" joint, the majority of the menu is Mexican food, and if I come back, I'll focus on that next time.

I called in my order & asked what the price was for 2 Chile rellenos no rice or beans they said $9.99,plus inorder a shrimp tostada & a ceviche tostada & a large Coke my total came out to $73.84.I told that's not correct she said yes $9.99 per Chile relleno & $20 per tostada it came out to $73.84,I told the owner this is wrong then he started to hesitate while the woman in the back kept saying something in Spanish they ripped me off! No tortillas no hot sauce no crackers & they even forgot my coke I had to go back to get it! 0 stars.

Ordered the new caldo de res and chilequiles. The food was served very hot, and had big serving sizes. Very good! Our order even came with some fresh chips (not in picture because we ate it immediately lol). Will definitely come back to try their other new menu items!

Glad they reopened again. Good simple burgers and fries at good price. Very good customer service. It gets busy at lunch time so call ahead.

Cheeseburger w/ only Avocado and Lettuce. Seasoned Fries.

I've been coming here for years and the burgers and fries are amazing! Cheap too! It's run by an older lady who seems humble and she seems like she cares about her community. Great customer service! Food: I've tried their cheeseburger and chili cheeseburger. They're both amazing and made to order. Seasoned fries are amazing as well although, I wish they gave out more seasoning on it. They give out large portion sizes and most of the time, I was unable to finish everything. A cheeseburger burger combo with added avocado, seasoned fries, and a soda came out to $10.83 total. Interior: There is a about 6 tables inside and two outside out front. The bench seating is comfortable and everything about the interior looks like if it were in the 80's. Two old school gaming machines inside and a TV. You need a key in order to access the restroom. Restroom is out back, really small and all tagged up with graffiti. Seems decently clean, no hand soap but, they do provide paper towels. One gripe about the interior is that, their is no A/C. Verdict: Valley Super Burgers have been around for a while. There is a reason for it as the food is really good and fresh. Affordable prices and the workers or owner seems to care for the community. I've seen them provide food for a homeless person once. All in awe, if you're looking for a good cheap place to eat, this is the one. Always great to support local small business! This place is a low key gem.

Now open as of August 9, 2024. A Fresh Look, Same Great Taste. I recently revisited valley super burgers, and I must say, the experience was even better than before. The newly remodeled interior is stunning, blending modern design with warm, inviting touches that make you feel right at home. The layout is more spacious, the lighting is perfect, and the overall ambiance is just right for a casual meal or a special occasion. Despite the changes in decor, the food remains as outstanding as ever.

I've been coming here since high school and I'm glad they're now open after their renovations! Staff is always nice and they have an updated menu.

    Carne asada fries

Ordered carne asada fries got home and they put no toppings went back they supposedly fixed it. I included the menu and that doesn't like like guacamole or pico de gallo

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The cook/ person who took our order was pissed when we asked for salsa. She wasn't friendly at all. The meat inside the burrito my boyfriend ordered seemed old. I ordered a corn dog and it was way overcooked. The food was gross and I'm disappointed we gave this place our money..Never again!

I've been here a grand total of twice…read more My first experience was problem free. Kudos. The second visit "could've been better" (which Yelp suggests that a 2 star rating would be appropriate to indicate): we placed quite a simple order - 2x Strawberry Sundaes. We took our number placard (#52) and sat at a table to await our order. After patiently waiting what I would estimate to be approximately 15-20 minutes and seeing quite a few other people served their orders, I did find it odd that it was taking so long to prepare 2x sundaes, so I located the young man who took our order and politely inquired about it. He looked a bit confused, exchanged some unintelligible words one of the guys on the grill, and then looked back at me and said it was not our turn yet (or something to that effect). Okay, fair enough. Maybe there were many orders ahead of us. I took it in good stride and went back to my table. After waiting approximately another 15-20 minutes and seeing that *Order #70* was being given their food, I realized that there was a problem and went back up to the ordering counter. I ended up talking with an old man (who I presume is the owner/manager). I explained the situation, and he inquired who had taken our order. I looked around, and the young man appeared to be nowhere in sight, but I did mention it was he who had had taken our order. The old man apologized and assured us he would take care of our order right away. Sure enough, I saw him beeline to the ice cream machine to start our sundaes, and he delivered them to us within 2-3 minutes. He apologized a second time, stating that it was the young man's 2nd day on the job, and that he otherwise would not have forgiven the transgression. In my experience, the resolution to the absurd wait could have been handled worse (in theory, the old man could certainly have told us to pound sand rather than apologizing and immediately attempting to correct the problem and quickly getting our desserts after being made aware of his employee's failure), but also could have been handled better (comping us for the trivial cost of the sundaes as a remedy/cure would have more effectively salved our irritation from the unnecessary waste of 30+ minutes of our life, and would have been in-line with remedial efforts I have experienced at other eateries, including similar fast food/burger joints). All that said, the sundaes were quite good. They would undoubtedly have tasted better had they been served in a time frame reasonable enough to not spoil the mood. I get that this is not a fine dining restaurant of any sort, but I still expect staff competence to be no worse than that of a McDonald's baseline level. I also get that humans make mistakes, but ... how did a simple order of 2x sundaes get botched this badly, particularly after a good faith attempt to bring the matter to staff's attention??

The smell of the food they were cooking smelled so delicious. It was hard to not want to try the food. Sean had explained the menu to me since it was my first time going there. A customer in line had chimed in how they had done a collab with Gooey Center cinnamon rolls and they put a maple sausage in the middle. I had ordered a few sandwiches but was only able to try the sweet heat croissantwich. This was amazing it was a crunchy yummy goodness that I can't explain. It wasn't spicy and you can taste a slight sweetness. It was the perfect bite each time. I had also ordered a hashbrown on the side. It was so crispy and it didn't need ketchup or anything else. I can't wait to come back soon to try the breakfast burger which they're known for and the S.P.E.C sandwich. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich sounded pretty popular as well. I believe the smash burgers is what started it all but you definitely gotta try it for yourself.

Digging further, I discovered that the "Eat Fantastic" quintet of restaurants that dot the greater LA metropolitan area ARE IN FACT a modernized spinoff of the "Cafe Fantastic" chain that Gen Xers like me fondly recall. Sheeeeeeeeeiiit. True story- All throughout my time at San Pedro High, my best friend Mick and I usta demolish their Combo Burger Platter (burger/fries AND onion rings, side salad and drink) for only $3.65. 40yr flashback over, your favorite Yelp correspondent went for Fantastic's pastrami sandwich combo. And while it doesn't come with a quintet of items guaranteed to fillya up- I can vouch that the pastrami is legit!!! Well seasoned, peppered, served steaming hot aboard a French roll gently slicked with mustard. I've had my share of fabulous pastrami in my time- Katz Deli in NY, Brent's Deli in Northridge and more locally and if you're in a severe 'strami fix...then Togo's #9 will do ya, too. This doesn't compete at those lofty levels, but for its price I'll order this eight days a week over the razor-thin pastrami dispensed by the overrated The Hat chain of pastrami-phixated locales! While this was a takeout order, I can attest that all of my.prior dealings w/ the Eat Fantastic staff has been just fine. Courteous and swift service.

Parking: Street parking was super easy on a Sunday afternoon, I was able to pull up right in front and park on the street. There is a Super A across the street and ample parking around for free. Ambiance & Food: This reminds me of an old school burger stand. Those were the best burgers and this one did not stop that trend. As I walked up, we were warmly greeted and given a quick rundown of what which burger. They did have specials (I will get to that in a second) which we were intrigued, but for the sake of perspective, I ordered the Goldburger and both regular fries and curly fries with a bottle coke. The Goldburger is naturally a double, but my gymrat protein brain added that extra patty. They use a 70% to 30% mixture for their burger which makes the burger oh so decadent. The picture I took doesn't do it justice. The moment you bite into the burger the combination of burger juice, aioli, burnt skirt, all come together in such a harmonious fashion. It was remarkable. Though fries are not one of my strong points, both fries were crispy and I haven't had any other experience with Curly fries other than Jack in the Box, but these were so much better. I went ahead and dipped the fries in some homemade Aioli and dang, what a combo! Back to those specials, the current special is CHILI, I was intrigued so they gave me a small container of it to try. Man, if I wasn't watching my caloric intake, that would have been the move. It was rich and chunky and not to soggy which some always comes. Give it a try as they said it will be around for sometime. Other than burgers, they do have hot dogs as well. So worth trying both next time. To be perfectly honest, this brought back so much nostalgia for me, I used to go to school in the area and this brought a lot of those memories back. Tasty burgers and a must try for sure if your around! Cheers!

I ended up in Montebello by chance and looked to Yelp for some help with lunch. I ended up at a little food court that had a few solid looking options, but sometimes when you see a burger and smell a burger, you simply need to eat the dang burger. There was no line when my wife and I approached the window to order and we ordered a double cheeseburger, a grilled cheese, an order of fries, and a milkshake. Now, instead of simply giving us the price the dude working told us how it was going to take a really long time because he would have to make the burgers and the milkshakes, which ya know, is kind of how it works when you order food. So instead of questioning his logic, I just said forget the shake and ordered the food. The food took literally 8 minutes to come out and I can't imaging the milkshake would of caused that much trouble since they are ordered all the time, but who am I to say? The food was great, as For The Win always is. The french fries were great and so was my burger, but the lackluster interaction with the kid working really put a damp on the experience. Overall, For The Win is still my favourite burger chain in LA and it's going to take a lot for someone to knock them down (although Burgers Never Say Die and Irv's are up there too). Maybe one day, I'll even get to try a milk shake! Hopefully you have a better time ordering then I did.
