The snow was so light and fluffy, and the flavors were incredibly fresh. I also loved the variety of toppings that you can choose from, like mochi, fresh fruit, marshmallow and condensed milk. This dessert shop is to die for! It wasn't what I was expecting at all, and that's a good thing! It was magical. It was beautiful! I took at least a dozen pictures and savored every bite before it melted! Their potions menu was unique and I'm officially addicted to the dark rose milk tea. I can't wait to try everything on the menu and I'm especially looking forward to their afternoon tea which I'm told will be offered in the fall. The staff are doing well considering they have only been open a few weeks. I commend the owners for taking a risk and hiring younger employees some with little to no experience. Tea Sisters Society was in attendance enjoying afternoon tea. A few ordered the Princess, and a few ordered the Queen's Tea menu option. I'm writing this review based on the ambiance. The place is beautifully decorated, however, there is a pungent sewage smell upon opening the door entrance. I'm not sure what it is and I won't be coming back but it is a shame bc they offered a "high tea" service I wanted to try but Ican't due to the strong sewage smell. I had a headache and throat soreness immediately upon entering the building due to the smell. I hope management figures out what is causing it and mitigates it. read more

I've tried several tea places in the area including The Tea Nook and Sotherton, and Vampire Penguin far surpassed those places in my opinion. Most of the sandwiches were tasty. The scone with clotted cream and lemon curd were wonderful and was much better than either of the aforementioned places. The teaware was traditional but cute/modern. I appreciated the details such as providing a strainer for the tea leaves. The presentation was beautiful with plenty of fresh roses. Such a nice touch. Excellent friendly service by the young ladies there. I loved the ambiance with the wall of roses. The things I think they could improve upon is maybe having a better choice of traditional English teas. At least have a Darjeeling would be my recommendation. And perhaps use tea pot cozies to keep the tea warmer longer. Also maybe some more choices in desserts such as cream puffs, instead of just a cupcake and a strawberry. I'm talking about vampire Penguin at the Palladio in Folsom city. The décor and set up is so European and have Paris vibes. Customer service was so fast and attentive to my guests needs. The variety of food choices was very fresh and I appreciate them asking my guests if anyone had allergy to anything in particular. I am allergic to strawberries so they made sure there was a variety of food items to choose from. The tea menu was great our favorite was Fairy dust tea. A must try when you visit. You got two pots of tea. And oh sorry yes we ordered the queen setting with all the accessories that come with it. I also had ordered a charcuterie board with combination spread which came out perfect. The restaurant is amazing but the parking is definitely a problem. During reservation it will be wise for management to let guests know that they will have to come early to find parking. When I entered the place was packed and it took me another 10-15min to find a parking spot which means now I'm late for my RSVP. My sisters and I took some great videos and pics and we really enjoyed our tea party. The high tea sets were very beautiful and every little detail was just mesmerizing. I just checked out this location for the first time the other day and I loved it!! The snows were so fluffy and creamy, nothing like I have ever tried before. We went for high tea on this last Saturday. The tea set up is beautiful. I gave it three stars because the service during the high tea was not good. First, they have a menu for tea and they only gave us one menu for a table of 13 people. Second, I had to ask for everything 3-4 times from the server Erica. Things like more tea and to bring milk for our tea. I asked Erica 3 times and Brooke I asked her once. She went and told Erica to do it and then stood there doing nothing. Not once did Erica come and check on us. I had to flag her down more than 4 times to get her attention to bring us things that were missing from the table. Then during the middle of our tea Erica left. She didn't say her shift was ending or here is the new person who will be helping you. She grabbed her bag and I watched her walk out. It was a little hard to find as it is hidden in the middle of an outdoor shopping center and google maps doesn't give good directions, but once we found it we felt it was oh so worth it. It should be a 1 star but I gave an extra for presentation. I had been very excited to try one of their new desserts. I went with my husband, brother and 5yr old son. Upon entering we were barely noticed. There was only one other couple in place and it looked as if they had just received their order. We looked at the menu and we're surprised by how much a small dessert was priced. The pictures looked amazing and we thought it must taste as good as it looks at those prices. Myself and brother ordered the s'moreos, and my husband the twix. Just over $25 for 3smalls. (Interesting thing to note they charge over 8% sales tax in folsom where the tax rate is 7.75%). Once we sat down on very noisy chairs, after a few moments our orders arrived. The s'moreos were pretty but did not taste like it was worth the cost, but at least I was able to finish mine. My brother said he really couldn't place the taste and rather than waste calories he gave his to my son, who also didn't care for it. My husband's was so bitter he could not recognize any twix flavor and couldn't even finish his. Funny thing the couple left without finishing their's either. I was reccomended their best seller (Strawberry Cheesecake Deluxe) but instead got Elly's Strawberry Fantasy, let me tell you, it is fantastic! It's a new experience. My friend and I came here super last minute after dinner for a light dessert. When we came we were so shocked by how cute the interior was! We also were super intrigued by the high tea table sets and made future plans to come back for that. I ordered the Thai/milk tea snow, I didn't quite understand why it only came as a large but I can't complain since it was delicious. It just wasn't convenient considering my friend and I wanted to buy two different flavors and share each other's but it really was a different dessert experience overall. I can't complain about dessert that feels this light but tastes so good!! The Thai/milk tea one was delicious in combination with the Oreos and the condensed milk, and the only thing I wanted was more condensed milk because it was so tasty! The dulce de leche snow was also delicious, and it came with two pieces of flan which was a really good texture combination with the snow. Both items you really can't complain about! Went to Vampire to have their high tea service. The ambiance is beautiful and the table settings are just spectacular. But, I was disappointed with the food. It was very obvious that they only repackaged food and put it onto their pretty plates. The only exception was the blueberry scone, which was very tasty. The sandwiches tasted like they just opened some spread from the store and cut the cucumbers to add. The tuna salad on croissant tasted like Safeway's. The desserts were also from a package other than the strawberries that were sliced with whip cream on top. I love going to high tea places. Just hoped for more with the food than what we got. We had the Queen's tea service and it was phenomenal! I've been looking for a place to get high tea in Sac/Davis/Vacaville area and this has been by far the best find. Every bite was delicious and you could tell the whole menu was created with care and precision. The Queen's service was a lot of food, I could have ordered the smaller version but I'm glad I didn't for my first visit bc it gave me a chance to try everything and I loved every bite!
