I recently bought a vehicle from this location about a month and a half ago and they've now had it in their repair shop for a month now. They have done nothing to keep me updated I have to constantly try to call them and get ahold of someone who knows anything about my car just so I have any sort of idea of what's going on. Everyone's goal is to make a sale and drop 1 and move on to the next. Really unprofessional, and unhappy with my experience. At 730PM , 30min before they close, they tell me they have a car i was looking at online, and available. Made appt next morning at 10AM, when they told me the car would be ready for me to test drive without waiting. When they opened, they couldn't find the car. Driven thru another lot, they still can't find it. 15-20min later, they tell me the car has been sold 'overnight'. I asked to speak to a store manager and the finance manager said 'no, but I can' show you other cars'. I was upset that they couldn't bother to text me prior, saying the car is unavailable, yet, they could text me the second they saw my inquiry into the car. If you're looking to buy a Kia, just know that when you walk into this dealership they're set on ripping you off. I had called about a vehicle that they had priced at a certain value and they had me schedule an appointment to come in and test drive. Well I got there, test drove it, and sat down to run numbers. As soon as we sat down the sales person said, "not sure if we told you yet but this vehicle is marked up an additional $10000". The additional 10k markup wasn't for any accessories or warranties. It was just because of their greed. They were not willing to negotiate that markup Down and I ended up leaving. It would have been nice to know before making the hour trip there and wasting my time. I had an appointment today at 6:30PM with a salesman by the name of Ken. We spoke over the phone days prior about how he could honor the lease deal on the new 2022 K5. I had told him that I was only willing to come have a meeting if he was able to honor the deal or at least be in the same ball park range. He said they could and had his manager's approval. I trusted his words and came into the dealership. Unfortunately, when I got there, Ken was nowhere to be found and I met with a different salesman. Immediately, the salesman was amazed that Ken had lied to me about this deal and after talking to his manager, the manager said that he had approved of no such deal. I live 40 minutes away from this location but I was willing to come after work to meet with Ken as he made me this promise. I am amazed that lying has become part of a car salesman's characteristic. I just wish he would have told me the truth over the phone instead of coercing me into the dealership. He didn't have the decency to meet and apologize to my face and instead delegated it to the other salesman. Nevertheless, my business will be at a better Kia dealership. My 2019 KIA Niro started shuddering terribly. Called Corporate headquarters and they sent a tow truck many hours later. They told me to call Van Nuys KIA to set up an appointment. I did. They finally picked up the call and it was set for 7am the next morning. I called about 8:15 the next morning and the girl on the phone said a handler would call me if the car was there. IF the car was there?!? I lost it and said I needed to know if the car was there or not because I'd need to call the police if it wasn't. I got no call. Called back two hours later. Same story. I called two hours later. Still nothing. I called Corporate KIA and they were also put on hold. At least he acted like he cared. He said to call back tomorrow if I hadn't heard back. Really? My review is directed at the parts department only. I don't know anything about the sales department there and unfortunately i'll go to Simi Valley to buy my next car even though I live close to these guys but this is really only based on dealing with the parts department but unfortunately it reflects the whole dealership in my opinion. I love the brand, I think they're very reliable cars and I will continue buying just not from this dealership. On October 27, I went into this dealership to the parts department to buy brakes and rotors and the brakes were in stock and the rotors were being ordered from Washington and it would take 4-5 days to get here which I understood and paid for them in advance and went about my week. A whole week later when I had not heard from anybody, I called to speak to somebody about it and nobody even knew who I was and told me I had to call back with an invoice number because they had no record of my name or my phone number on file or that I had bought anything from them. Call them later that day with the invoice number and was told that the part never arrived and that it was coming from the East Coast somewhere near Atlanta which is completely different than what was told to me after I purchased them in person and was told to me by Fernando. The gentleman told me over the phone that it would be another 4-5 days for them to arrive but there was no guarantee that they were going to come at that time either. I waited another week and called and was told that they did not know if they came in or not and would call me when they arrived. (At this point, my cars been parked for 2 weeks waiting for the parts). I get a call a few days later to inform me the part is here and I can pick it up. It took almost 3 weeks. I ordered two pairs of shoes from a company based out of Hong Kong and received them quicker in the same timeframe while I was waiting for these rotors. I didn't appreciate being lied to because that's exactly what happened here because the first part didn't just disappear and it was most likely given to the service department or gave it to another customer and it had to be re-ordered the second time I called but nobody wants to fess up and admit that these was a mixup. I won't be back, I'll drive my butt to Simi Valley next time I need anything Kia related. Again, this has 0 to do with sales or Kia as a company, just the parts department. read more

Bought a 2021 Telluride in October 2020 sales guy was good and the buying process was fine. It is what has transpired after that has led to this negative review. Off the truck the car had a scratch on the bumper and a 3in gash on the crash pad next to the windshield. Okay no problem not the dealers fault but it needs to be fixed. They proceed to not order the part until I call 3 months later asking what the status is. The only way I'd get any updates is by calling the tech directly which was a pain. Once it was finally in (3 more months later) they need some time to fix it no big deal. I tell them the date I'm coming and tell them i need a loaner car, pretty standard. Well i bring my car in and they have no loaner car so I have to comeback the next day and they'd have one. Okay this is getting annoying now. I come back the next morning 7am and still no loaner. WTF? They give me a car off the lot with the window sticker on still...okay whatever. I get the car back a few days later looks good. They are sorry for the mixup and say I'd be taken care of my next service. So I give them one more chance I schedule my 7500 mile standard service for today 08/13/21 7:30 am. They say its gonna be 2-3 hours okay whats the point of an appointment? After 3 hours my car is in the parking lot with no one around I ask the service department whats going on with it? And see my keys on an empty desk. The service guy says "oh he left" Uhhhh what?? Did he not tell people what was happening? The status of the vehicle or anything? He says it's done and hands me my keys. I still got plastic on the seat and paper in the footwell from when they drove it. Come on now!! Then i fire it up. Service light comes on. Good lord! So I go back in and tell them they didn't clear the service light. They come out and fix it. But at this point I don't even trust they did the service correctly. I wouldn't trust them to wash my car let alone change the oil. Just take it to valvoline. read more

Got a Truecar quote on a Prius and scheduled a test drive. The person who's supposed to meet me "left work already" when i arrived. They scramble to fine me someone, Omar will help. We drive to 2 lots over half hour, to find the car. Test drove then back to sit with older guy who "knows my former town" that was another half hour of nothing to do with the car. They finally give numbers and its $3k more than quote. Accessories. You have a loan but let me get your financing... I eventually left. What a waste of time after a long day at work. They couldn't give me a new car until the warranty people came in the warranty people said they couldn't fix it even though I've been getting regular oil changes. So my dad and I look up on the Internet about the 2016 Kia soul and we find that there is a recall on the engine. Still no one wants to replace my engine.
