I wish I could rate this excuse of a store zero stars. They are scammers!! I recently went in to buy the new iPhone 14 Pro they said there wasn't any in stock so I would have to order it. I did so and they sent it to my home. They did not require a signature for the package mind your it's a phone that cost over $1000. Exactly 5 minutes after this was delivered a person came up and stole the box right off my front porch. I called in to get this handled they told me they were going to start up a ticket and process a new phone being sent out. I requested it be in store pick up. They assured me that a new phone would be sent out in a week. Being that I never received any confirmation email or phone call. I reached back out to customer service who had absolutely no notes on any of the conversation about me getting a new phone. I hung up with them and called into the store again to speak to a manager. I then got a familiar voice that answered and sounded just like the lady I spoke with on Friday when I called about phone being stolen. She all of a sudden got me a refund and said that since I didn't want that refund we can go ahead and get a new phone ordered now and sent to me. I specifically said there was no way I trusted that and I needed in ayote pick up. She stated that was not an option but suggested I could place order pay and then call fed ex once I receive the tracking my number to tell them to hold my phone. How convenient that the same lady I spoke to had all the right answers and was ready to send yet another new phone to my house? read more

It was great, though admittedly I had a very straightforward need. I just wanted to port two numbers to Verizon from another carrier, and already had phones. So I was in and out with two new SIMs and the ports done in less than 15 minutes. Can't ask for better really. The guy who helped me, Trevor, was friendly and efficient. read more

They made us wait in line even though my husband is disabled and in massive pain. Then they would only allow one of us into the store. He needs physical help but they would not let me in the store to help him. Since the account is in his name I couldn't be the one to go into the store. Then a girl named Lauren was "helping" him. Which is that she didn't help at all. We just wanted to buy a new iPhone for our sons upcoming birthday. She couldn't be bothered to help my husband. Wouldn't go over any of the options with him. So he left and we won't ever come back to this location. We went over to Costco where they actually helped us choose the right phone for our son. read more

Called the store 10 times and got redirect to customer service. Then customer service gave me the same number for the store and same thing. My phone has broke as in won't take a charge and I use the phone for my business. Now I can't. They said they are taking walk ins now but that's not true. I went to the store to see a handful of employs standing around and they told me I need an appointment..... Well my phone is broken and the best they could do was a week out and there was one couple in the store. Stopped in because my phone was not working. After check in the gentleman that was supposed to be assisting me was very rude, must have told me 6 times in less then 5 minutes not to touch anything because he would have to wipe it down. Colossal waste of time. After some time on the phone with Tech support, I was advised to come into the Verizon store to get my issue resolved. Naturally, it's by appointment only, which is ok. The problem is, they did absolutely nothing for me here except send out a box, which tech support could have done yesterday! Tech support felt like it would be faster to bring it in. Nope! They did nothing, had no interest in doing anything, didn't even want to touch the iPad, not even with gloves. I get there are measures in place for re-opening, but the service here goes beyond that and is quite horrible, unresponsive, inattentive, Considering changing carriers. Yeah... Customer for 20 years with little benefits for lifers. Prices/plans always going up and insurance no good. Turned in phone with no cracks but still labeled screen damage for internal damage then returned less money than . Great in house customer service with helpful people (Klaus and Sean!) Update at next upgrade: Wanting to upgrade to the iPhone 11 I pre-ordered it twice with no response. Online chatted twice only to be frustrated by extra fees and poor customer service needing to wait 15 minutes between online responses. Stopped by the store again to learn why my bill continues to creep up every month with no reason. Lauren could not crack a smile or listen to the story with my intention to upgrade and review my account. She then explains that customers must come in from time to time like they are refinancing their house to get a new plan to save money on different tiers. We are thinking about leaving Verizon due to unexplained costs and poor customer service when I am wanting to throw money at them to upgrade. It seems you have to get the full story from a handful of associates to get unnecessary fees waived but could not find one helpful employee this go around. Get back to the basics of listening to customers, educating them, and finding the best fit for their family if you want to keep our accounts. read more

Worst customer experience I've ever had. First I'd like to say I've been with Verizon since they were cellular one and before that alltel. I went in tonight with my daughter to upgrade my phone from the 13 pro to the new one and give my old one to my daughter. The lady helping was very nice but said she was new and had to go back to ask coworkers questions a couple of times. When she brought my phone up and started hooking it up I noticed it only had 2 cameras and said that's not the phone I wanted. She said that they were out of stock of the pros. Well I was told I would have to pay $50 to restock the phone because I asked for the wrong one. The manager called me and my daughter liars even though he wasn't there to hear the conversation when I said I wanted to upgrade this phone to the new one. I told him that I wasn't going to pay for it then he said I had to take the phone. I ended up being charged 2 separate charges for $103 and another for &50. This manager Guillermo was rude, not service oriented, and unfortunately caused me to be switching carriers. read more

Never before have I left a place feeling "icky" due to lack of customer service until I came here. I get covid, I get being "busy", I understand first come first serve policies, misplacing people on your wait list, being human etc. and that's why I waited patiently at this location for 2 hours with my infant and toddler to get my phone activated after it was deactivated during a customer service call before driving in. I watched people get added to the list and then get helped before me, I watched people come in and get seen immediately in front of the "list"because their service wasn't completed when they were in 20 minutes prior. I even helped explain to a two disgruntled customers how the list worked to help calm them down. finally got to my turn, they looked at my phone and told me it was already activated and I was good to go. I stupidly took their word for it, walked out the front door and sent a test text, not delivered. I spun around 180, re opened the door and said hey this actually isn't fully activated it's not working! Instead of finishing my service after waiting 2 hours, after witnessing other customers get immediate help after driving away for periods of time and returning because something wasn't right, I was placed back on the list. If any store could replace their employees successfully with heartless AI bots, it's this place. I had crying children at this point, I was about to start crying with them, missed any appointment I had that morning, and left feeling disrespected and still no working phone. If I do have to go back into a store it will never be this one. read more

Management here is on point. You can't blame all your problems on the personnel that work here. They had more then ten people in line not to mention the scheduled appointment on the books. The greeter who checks you in told me it would be quite a long wait to get seen but I informed him I just had a product return. He informed his management and they helped me right away. Most places would just turn me away or make me wait. Not here they worked hard to get my rerun done quick and perfectly. Now let me tell you the corporate office made it very difficult for the manager to get this done. This is the real problem with the Verizon customer service. The corporate office and retail stores are so far apart with their communication they have left the retail employees to fend for themselves with little support. Either way my issue was solved and only because of the retail service and online purchasing through chat. The Corporate office's need to get there ack together before they lose more customers. read more

Rotten customer service! Been with Verizon since 1998 and they treatment was the worst I have ever experienced. The "manager" couldn't even manage himself. The employees and himself couldn't even answer questions. They wanted to have more of a happy hour with certain clients that spend more money then fixing problems that current customers were having. All subjects from cars to how they weren't in favor of police...seriously they treated us like pond scum because I wasn't going to purchase another phone. After over a two hour wait, they couldn't even back what they said and kept changing everything. Let unhappy and unserved had to call the service line after hours for help. Stay away! I've been here twice to buy a new phone in the last couple years and I'll never go again. Both times they added multiple random things on top of the charge without saying anything, it wasn't until they told me my final total that I asked to see the sheet of paper showing what I'm being charged for and each time there were 2-3 random junk items added on without me having asked for them and without them saying anything. Like some special extended care or protection or some garbage. Over 100 dollars worth of junk that I never would have known about it if I didn't ask to see their sheet before agreeing to pay. We have been with version since they where Air touch back in the 90's. We had transferred to a buss. account and from there it was all downhill. We did this in January 2017 our rep. was just looking to make some commission on the deal without any regard to us. We got 3 new Galaxy 7 phones. We love the phones but when they say oh by the way the new HUM is free with this account. They are full of poop. They charge you per month for it and then when we tried to return it to them 15 days later they said oh well you are past the time allowed to return this. I told them we where told it was free and we only took it for that reason. So they refused taking it back. We then called corp. on the phones and they gave us a credit and said sorry for there incompetence and that they would reverse the charges. GOOD Well now when we try to get online to look at our account or make any changes we cant because the idiots put the wrong email down and this is after spelling and writing it down for them. It seems they hire any idiot that wants to screw people over. 5 months later and we are still dealing with this crap. We where able to get online in March then just tried this last weekend and same BS. So called reps. again and they finally tell me you have to get into online account every 30 days. It would be nice if they would DIVULGE this info to you to keep from the head aches of this crap ever happening in the first place. I think when our contract is up we will have to look into some other company. Pissed off company. read more

I was getting tired of the marginal battery life in my RazrM which had gotten worse with the latest operating system upgrade. I don't mind saving some money and getting last years model. I was looking at two phones that had been reduced to $0 because their replacements were due out soon. When I entered the store after work on Friday my first impression was with that many people I should have brought a sleeping bag. Turns out half of them were employees. I was greeted quickly and within 5 minutes I made it to the top of the list and had a trainee and a trainer waiting on me. Told them what I was looking at and why. They unlocked one of each so I could hold the phones, both were much larger than my old phone. We talked about each one's strong points and I ended up with another Motorola so I would have a short learning curve. They did not try to talk me into spending a bunch of money on the latest and greatest. They did talk me in to a couple of accessories. I've been with Verizon (Airtouch) for 16 years and overall this was one of the more pleasant and least confusing upgrades I have had. I still think the $30 upgrade fee sucks. read more

We switched to Verizon in September. We were at the store for 4 hours to get a total of 5 phones for my family. We were promised our bill would be $305 a month (we were paying $170 for 5 phones at the previous company which we will return to when our contact is done). I have now paid 5 consecutive months of $403 a month. My husband is currently on the phone with Verizon for what must be the 50th time. We have suffered through so much stress with Verizon. I have never in my life had so many issues with a phone company or been so unbelievably dissatisfied. It is really disheartening to know that we can be so easily lied to and our money just taken without a bat of an eye. I look forward to the day our contract ends and we can find a trustworthy company to do business with. read more

Loved these guys, after my visit to the heartless apple over my I phone, which got me some answers and an arrogant attitude over .....how dare I think of using a computer backup Iphone. .These guys helped me recover my lost contact list. A list that vanished thanks to icloud. THe sales person stayed with me , and didn't walk off to help other customers like apple did, and yes the store was busy. So , if your only backup is icloud and things get accidently deleted , your out of luck, you can't retrieve what you had, Thank you verizon for helping me, get most of my contacts back. I am giving this store 5 stars because of who we worked with. I have come to this store for years and always dread it because I haven't had good service and always get tricked into spending way to much money BUT I will always come to this location now only to work with Leo , HE WAS AMAZING!!! So nice funny and caring. He broke everything down to us so we really understood our plan and never got impatient. This is easily hands down the best employee Verizon has. I arrive at 3:46 checked in to speak to someone and was told there was 3 people ahead of me and the wait would be about an hour. Naturally I decided to wait .. around 4:25 I received a text saying one person head of me. So I waited til about 5 headed inside thinking they should be almost done. WRONG! By 5:50 everyone was almost gone except myself and another guy that came after me. They served him first of course and I asked about the text that was send and they said they forgot about me and helped everyone else. Horrible customer service. This particular Verizon store is VERY SHORT on service! I am a brand new Verizon customer and I had purchased a brand new iPhone 7 from Verizon and in one day it would not work for me. It kept overheating and would not charge nor maintain a charge. The young man that was supposed to help me did nothing. I am not a technical person and he was zero help with my request to assist me in transferring my information to the new phone. All he would do is help me erase the defective phone and then handed me a blank phone. He had a negative attitude and refused to do anything. I did not receive ANY customer service at this store. Lucky for me MacMedia was not far away and I was able to get all the help I needed and with a smile. I would not recommend this store, nor will I ever return here. read more

Well what can I say. They were extremely busy for a weekday afternoon but everything went very smooth with the "coming home" that my wife wanted to do after switching away from Verizon a year ago. We were greeted by an employee upon entering and he was not familiar with Verizon's bird flying home ad. I was disappointed in that but oh well. We then were told it was about a 10 minute wait. We proceeded to browse the store and about 7 or 8 minutes later we were greeted by the nicest and most informative Verizon rep I've ever dealt with. Jeff brooks is his name. I am not sure if you can request a sales person when visiting this particular store but if you can, request him. He was not pushy at all. Very well spoken and cared about what exactly we wanted all while still informing us of all the options available. I truly wish we lived closer so we could deal with him exclusively! Thanks Jeff!!! I just called to ask if you had apple AirPods in stock before I drive over there. Apparently the account my husband and I have had my maiden name still attached. No asking what my maiden name was, no asking for the account password..... so because my husband isn't in the car (they were a gift for him by the way) you can't tell me if you have them in stock because you can't pull up our account? If I could give a less than zero I would. We found a damaged phone in a parking lot but the owners never contacted me after I left my name and phone #. So we went to the store to get some help. The greeter at the door listened to my issue and said there's nothing they can do then the rudest most obnoxious "manager" came yelling at me and accusing me of theft and telling me I could give him the phone or just leave. So I did. I do not trust or recommend this location for any type of service or issue. I was so shocked at the horrible attitude this guy had and was shaken by it for a bit after leaving the store. My phone locked up and it would not power up. I went into Verizon store at 7608 West Bell Road, Glendale, AZ 85308 to have them check out problem. David Van Bowen Jr. was the associate helping me, actually he was the one talking to me, he was no help at all. He could not get the phone to power up so needed replacement phone. I am on a business account and am not the contact person and I told him that but I had the phone number of our IT manager who was contact person on account. I asked David to verify if I had insurance on my phone and also to see when my line would be eligible for upgrade. I wanted that information so I could decide best option for phone before contacting my IT manager. David said he could not look at account to verify these details without approval. With frustration I asked David to get Verizon customer service on the phone for me so he used the landline on the desk and did so. I gave Verizon the number and password on account and they confirmed I did have insurance but we also had upgrade lines available. I thanked them for doing what the store and David refused to do, called my IT manager and advised him of my problem and that I wanted to use an upgrade and purchase new phone. He agreed and then talked to David to let him know. David said okay and then a whole new level of confusion started with no regard for logic or common sense. David stated that an authorization had to be emailed to the email on our account for approval. He read the email to me and to my IT man and I explained that it was an old email address that had belonged to my office manager who had left the company about 10 years ago. David refused to listen to us and insisted that he had to use that email address; it was the "official" one and the only one on the account. I asked when this email procedure had gone into effect since it was from 10 years ago and nobody in our company even knew it was on the account. David explained Verizon had always done this. I tried to explain that they definitely had not always done this as I have been with my company 27 years and have purchased 5 or 6 new phones just in last 10 years and had never had an email confirmation required. David told me I was wrong. I questioned logically that had this email been required or used with my previous purchases we would have obviously discovered it was on there because it wouldn't have worked, it was an old invalid address. David had nothing to do with my logical question and made absolutely no effort to solve the confusion, with a longtime customer trying to give him more money, and an account with about 15 lines that dates way back in years. He kept insisting that the email address had to be used and had always been used, even after being told that was impossible. Finally we exchanged some heated words as I was getting extremely frustrated and David left the counter and a manager came to assist. The manager's name was Ron Dethlefsen and he actually listened and looked for a solution. Ron went in back and got somebody with business accounts and reviewed our situation with him. This gentleman looked at our account and in 2 minutes read me an email address for our IT manager and asked me if it was accurate. I said Yes, absolutely! I asked where he got it since David had been saying for 45 minutes that our account only had the one old invalid address. He stated it was on the account right next to my IT managers name, along with his cell phone number. From this point everything went fine. I purchased the new phone, an email went to my IT man and he approved it and sent it back. My new phone received the SIM card and was powered up. I left in about 5 minutes back in business. I was completely amazed that a customer service representative was incorrect, saw a problem and made zero effort to solve it, and was rude and uncaring that a customer was trying to give him money, trying to buy their product, and he could care less. I spent about 45 minutes trying to complete the transaction and feeling my blood pressure increase the entire time and received absolutely no "service" from the customer service associate. On a side note, I bought the new Samsung 8+ and I love it. read more

Just recently purchased a new iPhone 8 Plus and AirPods here. Everything went well and the manager even gave me a discount on them. The AirPods had an issue so I got them swapped out, but that has nothing to do with Verizon or their customer service. I've been here many times and have not had any problems that I can remember. Not sure what all the negative reviews are for... Sounds like some people will complain about anything and make a big deal out of nothing just for some attention. read more

My husband, our 3 year old son, and I went into Verizon to upgrade a broken iPhone 7 and decided to do some switching of accounts and multiple other things. This was no easy task and I'm not even joking when I say 4 very amazing young men came to help us to get us the best deal and make sure we didn't leave empty handed. Shout out to CJ who literally spent 2 hours with us to make this happen. Edwin who stepped in to assist CJ and was super helpful the entire time. Jesus who literally was off 3 hours prior but still stayed to help us (so cool) and unfortunately didn't get the name of the last guy but he went to bat for us when we called corporate to switch accounts and I appreciate him so much as well. This store and its employees went above and beyond and to say we are happy is less than an understatement. We are so grateful to everyone who helped today and we will refer people here for sure! read more

If I could give ZERO STARS, I would. I typically only use Yelp for positive reviews but I couldn't be more over Verizon. I just switched from Sprint and immensely regret it. The customer service is absolutely horrible all around. I spent 5 hours with agents online yesterday only for them to get my order wrong. Had the store reviewed what was in the bag before giving it to me when I did in store pick up, I would have caught this. Then I went online after being on hold for 45 mins with no one answering. The agent I spoke to, Andy, told me that I could go to the store and they would make everything right. I even made sure to confirm the price would be the promotion price as well. Took photos of our conversation of him confirming as well...Get to the store. Wait for a representative only to be told I have to call Verizon and that they can't get on their iPads and help fix the order in the store. That apparently phone reps can use their computers but the people in the stores can't do anything to help you. I even mentioned having them do it for me so I don't mess anything up. Nope. That statement was completely ignored. Apparently even though I've seen them do orders from their tablet they can't do online orders to give you the deal if things get messed up. They can't even override it in their system according to what I was told. So Verizon as a company has set up their employees for failure to give complete customer satisfaction is what I'm gathering from the employees and manager at the 76th ave and bell road location. DO NOT believe what the store rep tells you about current promotions, check the website yourself. I was reassured by the store rep that Samsung had extended its promo for a free smartwatch or VR goggles with games when in store 3/19/16. Also that Verizon was still offering a special trade-in on any smartphone minimum of $100. The store manager Brandon had a "too bad, so sad" attitude, saying it was a Samsung promo, and he refused to honor what his sales person promised. On top of that, after not receiving my trade-in promo code for 10 days, I am again told, too bad, that promo ended 2 days before I purchased, even though I was told it was still in effect. So minus a $600 value for two smartwatches and $200 in trade-in value, I was given two VR goggles, but of course not that game bundle. read more
