OMG!!! What GREAT experience we had here! Joshua is fantastic. Answered our questions, walked us thru the whole process of buying new phones. We first went to Costco, waited for a very long time. Costco closes at 8:30. I went online to find the closest Verizon store and it was open until 9;00. We walked into the Verizon store at 8:30 pm. With Joshua's expertise we were able to make our decision and got a MUCH better deal than Costco. Overall a fantastic experience here and especially with Joshua! I have gone to this store because it is close to my home but not any more. The level of incompetence here is too much to handle. I had to go in there 3 times in 4 days to simply get a straight answer on what coverage is provided for the Bahamas. The first visit the guys helping me (yes, it took two of them for this question) clearly didn't know the answer and just tried to get me checked off from their waiting queue by telling me it was already covered in my current local plan. NOT! That didn't sound right to me, so I did some digging, and it took digging to find it on their website. And of course the Bahamas aren't covered on your local nationwide plan. And why would it be? It's another country! So I go back and talk to two more guys, one being the same one who screwed up before. He apologizes once I bring it to his attention and says that all I need is the Travel Pass for $2/day. That sounded reasonable so I had him add it to my line. The next day I get an email from Verizon congratulating me for adding the feature and they provide a bunch of links to buy more stuff. One of the links was for a country matrix of costs. Guess what, the Bahamas aren't $2/day, it is $10/day. That's kind of a big miss. So I go back in and talk to a new guy and he rather unapologetically says that yes, the Bahamas are $10/day but Mexico and Canada are $2/day. I'm not going to Mexico or Canada!! At this point, I don't know what to believe. I left ATT because their technical service was marginal, but compared to Verizon they are a bunch of Einsteins. My advice to Verizon is to spend more time educating your staff on your products rather than stressing sales quotas. You have people working for you that have no clue what they are selling, and will lie to you to just get you out of the store. Can't wait til my contract is up. read more

No issues adding new plan. Edgar helped us out. Great representative, very helpful. I had issues with the screen protector, so I came back the next day to get it fixed. I was greeted by the store manager Chace- unfriendly and very short. I didn't get the name of the female representative that helped me out but she took my phone to fix the protector, I got my phone back and it was full of lint. I pointed this out to her and she told me that they can't help that lint gets under the protector because "they're not a lint free environment." I asked to speak with Edgar who helped out. Edgar was able to take the lint off but there was a finger print inside the protector. I asked to get it replaced but I was told they can't do anymore. I left the store unsatisfied and annoyed. I came in on Monday to get my issues fixed and by Friday the fingerprint inside the protector became more visible. I called back Friday and spoke with Wes and told him what happened. Wes told me he'd help me out and get my protector replaced. I came back to the store, met with Wes, and he resolved my issue. read more

I have been a Verizon customer since it was Air Touch and am a shareholder and am appalled at the treatment I received from the manager Jeff. I went to the store after purchasing a brand new Note 10 plus and had 2 questions to ask. The store was completely void of customers and Jeff told me they didn't answer questions anymore. Diz and Jeffery were really helpful with fixing an issue regarding transferring my pre-paid account phone number to a post-paid account that I opened to take advantage of account credit deals involved with opening a new line. My husband had originally purchased an iPhone XR (with trade in of my iPhone 7 plus) for in store pick up, which included $300 credit plus $50 online purchase credit. However, the online agent processed the transaction as a new account (with only 2GB data) and not a pre-paid to post-paid phone number transfer. This was a problem as I didn't want to change my phone number again. Diz was able to not only upgrade me to 5GB for a little bit less money per month, but he also applied my husband's corporate discount, which about off set the $50 online credit I would have gotten had the online agent had done their part correctly. I wish they were able to still honor the online order credit as it was an issue on Verizon's end, but Diz made it work in the end. I am really enjoying my XR so far and highly recommend this store for friendly, down-to-earth service. read more

Fabian helped me today, I came in to activate my iPhone 5C which I bought on ebay and he activated it in 10 minutes! Wow, even I can't do that! He meticulously opened the SIM card, insert it, cleaned the phone for me, and I bought a screen protector for it for $24.99 plus tax. Where do I start...? First of all, I'll start out saying that I've been a loyal customer to Verizon for well over 10 years. Never had an issue with them over these years and this is the first time I have ever had any issue. I have never gotten so frustrated at customer service before. The man that helped me, Riaz, was possibly the worse "service" that could've ever received anywhere. The evening started out with the typical signing in, waiting for a few minutes before being approached by Riaz. Off the bat, I could not understand a word he was saying because he was mumbling the entire time. I kept asking him to repeat himself. I told him that I wanted to take advance of the special that they were doing for the trade in program. He told me "oh, we only have these models, which one do you want?" Uhh... None of those... "Oh, well, you'll have to order it then. It's back ordered." Yes.. I know. "Oh, if you order it, it won't be available until November." Ok, that's fine. He didn't bother asking which model I wanted and wanted to make a sale. He even told me "I only make commission on phone sales." Ok... I didn't ask that. After all that, he told me I can't trade in my phone because the upgrade was on a different line. I explained someone else used my upgrade and I was going to use theirs since there was one available on the plan. He kept telling me it is impossible and that it was a waste of an upgrade since it was used for a basic phone. My older parents don't use smartphones. I kept telling him the other Verizon explained it was ok to move the upgrade. He kept denying it and said that they were trained not to do it. So when I was about to walk out, he asked someone else and they had to explain to him it was ok to transfer upgrades. He sets up me buying the phone but that alone was an issue. First, he made a mistake by almost ordering the wrong phone. He would've made the mistake if I didn't see it on the screen. During this process, he failed to explain anything to me. Maybe he tried but I couldn't understand what the f**k he was saying through all the mumbling. My bf was even getting frustrated and he wasn't even talking to him. Second, he tried to trade in my current phone. But if he did that, I would've had to give him my phone at the store then be phone less for over a month?? He kept saying the "find my iPhone" was on and I had to deactivate it. Which I thought I did but then told me I have to go to the Apple Store to deactivate it?? So he said the transaction couldn't be completed. I wanted to walk out again but he went to the same guy to ask what to do. I wanted to just go up to the other guy and have him help me instead. Finally, he was able to do the transaction and told me to send in my current phone when the new one arrives. I wanted to just stop him there so he doesn't get my commission. I ended up going to another Verizon the following day to just to make sure this fool didn't f**k up anything. I explained to the sales guy there and he was like "he had no idea what he was doing". But surprisingly, the transaction was fine. I wanted to cancel my order and reorder through the new sales guy just to keep Riaz from getting commission. This review got me all worked up again and this happened last week! I wanted to complain to corporate about him. Never going back to that Verizon. Verizon sucks! I paid for a phone and package on the 10th( monies I shouldn't have used at this time!). They didn't have the phone in stock, I agreed to wait three days ( even though my phone is being held together with packing tape!). Because the guy who sold me the phone wrote down the email incorrectly, I never received the phone! I called in because I thought maybe our package thief stole it while I was at work. What I was told is they never sent it. The salesman never called and confirmed anything. He never responded to my calls and texts! I cancelled the entire order out of frustration! The entire cock up was on Verizon's end! They refuse to refund my monies because the phone was sent out after I cancelled the order( no, I never received it!) and it has to be returned to their warehouse and scanned and returned to their store ?? They messed up,but it's MY fault? Jim and I've been loyal customers for over 30 years! ( between land and cell usage). No more! I won't even see my monies until after the new year! If I were late with their payments, they'd charge me interest and late fees! I hate that they can't be charged interest and late fees and an inconvenience fee! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERViCE I went in to fix my phone and immediately seen by door greeter holding tablet. The door greeter was really tall (about 6.5 feet tall) caucasian guy. I explained my problem and then he said "contact samsung." I asked for a samsung's service number and he said google samsung mobile. I left this place without luck, without even allowed to see the technical guy. SO, I went to the OTHER verizon store and this time, they let me see the technical guy, he called samsung and samsung said they had so many same issues in the past and they were able to send me a brand new phone. What a huge difference!!! If any verizon managers or any sort are reading this, you should seriously rethink about keeping that really tall caucasian guy holding tablet at this location. Apparently, they are changing the rules in stores. After being on hold with customer service for over an hour, the store still could not help me and suprisingly rude. I went into the store this evening to buy a replacement charger for my bluetooth. They could not sell me the piece I needed to charge my $99. 00 blue tooth that I purchased at their store, they could not even order it for me. I was told to call the company. Also I had a visa rebate card that I did not use,from Verizon and happen to notice it expired may 31, 2015...just a few days ago. So I ask if I could get a replacement. They clerk called Verizon, after many minutes and having to give all my info, which I had already given to the clerk, they declined to replace my card, they would not even consider store credit. Waited 15 min and browsed around at pricing. None of the labels reflected discounts mentioned online 15min later, a rep - black tall dude - came to me. Rep: So what are you looking for? Me: iPhone with best deal for Black Friday or holiday seasons. I.m also a Youtuber with 20,000 subscribers so my audience wants to know what's to buy. Rep: everything here is market rate. Me: so you mean pricing as labeled ? Rep: yup, pricing is market rate (just device pricing is listed) Me: so what about this discount mentioned online? $300 off Rep: oh, well that's with a plan with 24 months Me: why didn't you mention that? (Btw, I still don't know what the monthly pricing is) Rep: cuz everyone needs are different Me: huh? So here's my need....XYZ my use behavior. So what's the best deal for device and monthly plan or prepaid plan? I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews. We had Abdullah help us set up our accounts and phones with ease. We ran into some trouble with trying to activate my mother's phone (her line is on my account) but every time I called Abdullah, he was always there to help and was extremely patient. Also, my husband's phone was acting up so we took it to the apple store, they reset the phone twice and told him that everything was fine, but it wasn't. After dealing with the apple store twice with no luck on fixing his phone, we took it back to the Verizon store and they gave us a new phone with zero hassle. About 2 months ago I went to this location because of a problem with sync on my car. No stable connection. An obnoxious greeter told me it was a problem with my car. I asked if someone could make sure the phone settings are correct he restated that I should go to my car dealer. Needless to say after the dealer replaced the bluetooth gizmo in my car the same problem occurred. I then searched through my phone for sync setting and noticed the update option was off. This could have been solved quickly at the store.On the day this greeter stopped me at the door the place was empty. First time I've had a problem there but a real turnoff. I just need a new SIM card, that's all, I can set it up myself, but I was ignored upon walking in and walked around for a solid 10 minutes until I flagged someone down to help me. They told me I'm behind about 7 people waiting for help, but the employee was very rude when I was speaking to him. Meanwhile there's a couple employees standing around not helping anyone. He was very clear about what he thought were the best options for us, made sure we knew everything we were getting into, and got all our devices set up and ready to go for us once we purchased them! I came here to get new phone and it was completely lied to by one of the associates that works there by the name of Lawrence. I expressed great importance in Saving all files I had on my phone, he then said that they will all be there. but once I receive my new phone I was missing a lot of files, he was very disingenuous. I ordered a new phone the night before and requested to pick it up at the Verizon store in Irvine off Jamboree. When i arrived i wasn't allowed in the store and had to wait outside. When my items were brought to me I told the customer service rep I had requested to have Verizon transfer my phone numbers to my new phone. He said they don't do that. I asked did you guys set up my new phone with my old number. The rep said they don't do that either. I said to the rep then why did I agree to buy one of your phones if your not going to help me set it up. The rep said if you don't want the phone you have 14 days to return it. I went to this store because I had problem with the bill. Verizon has been charging my unused tablet since I left and switched over to AT&T 8 months ago. The manager I talked to on June 14 promised to contact me the next day. I told him that I was planning to switch back to Verizon to get back into the family plan ( my son is still with Verizon) which will give me a cheaper one bill in stead of 2 separate bills from 2 different companies. No..... still no call from the manager of this store. OK, with this kind of service , I just stay with AT&T and will tell my son to leave Verizon. I rather pay more to get a good service ...... So I am just paying taxes for 3 devices.
