My boyfriend and I went to the Apple store to get his broken phone screen fixed. He declined the loaner phone that the Apple store offered and decided to get a new phone from Verizon to use in the meantime. A new phone costs more upfront, but the loaner phone, which was a different version of the iPhone that he has, did not come with a case or screen protector. You either buy a case and screen protector that you will not need after a week, or you risk being held responsible for any damages to the loaner phone. We went to this Verizon location and told Ashley the situation and that we were looking for the cheapest functional phone. She found two options, presented it to him, and it was smooth sailing from there. Ashley provided us with great service. She was transparent, quick, thoughtful, and personable. I've been a customer since January and it's now May--and I have nothing but negativity to say about this company. My bill was initially quoted at one price for my bill. After my bill did not reflect that same price I was quoted, I reached out to customer service multiple times about my bill, even going into the store 2x, for them to tell me my bill was "correct" despite it not reflecting the same price I initially agreed upon (and even have the paperwork to prove it). I even traded in my phone, but they didn't even correctly apply the promotion they were having, causing my bill to increase over $150. I was even told I would get it refunded by their manager, but it's been two billing cycles and I still haven't gotten it refunded. If you are contemplating opening a Verizon account, have the reps calculate your monthly total TO THE EXACT DOLLAR and take a photo of the quotes the sales reps give you. They gave me a quote and said, "this is your quote, but with taxes and fees it will only increase a couple dollars." Then when your bill suddenly INCREASES over approximately $100, somehow it's justified because they're never wrong? I'm just so disappointed with customer service and the inconsistenties in what everyone at Verizon is telling me. Somehow, my bills has increased everytime I talk to customer service--all they care about is getting the sale. Keep this in mind, you'll get quoted you one price and the bill will just keep increasing. If I'd known that my bill would basically increase every month, I would have never opened a Verizon account. And to be honest, my customer service has been far worse than my previous carrier, T-mobile. I have not seen nor heard great things about Verizon and I will never recommended this company to anyone. As soon as my contract ends, I will be leaving Verizon. Which sucks that I have to wait until 2027 or pay over $1300 to get out of this contract that I did not agree on. It's so disappointing that this is the customer service I'm paying for. read more

My account has been getting charged for both the additional line for the watch, and I've been paying for the watch itself. Management will not return my calls, and Verizon and this location keep giving me the runaround. Don't shop here, or just don't go with Verizon. I went to Verizon to upgrade my 2 year old phone and Balil helped me. He was professional, courteous, and very efficient. I was able to get a substantial credit for my old phone and also left with a new Samsung tablet for pennies a month. THIS LOCATION STEALS YOUR TRADE IN SMARTPHONE. Do not shop or do any of you business here. This is not a Verizon store but a "Victra" Verizon authorized reseller, which makes Verizon fully implicated. In October of 2020 I switched to Verizon from T-Mobile, I trade in my almost new iPhone 11 Pro to an iPhone 12 Pro. The agent at the store kept up selling us bullshit deals and would take no for an answer. I relinquished my first iPhone for the new one and was reassured bill credits going forward, month goes by and no credit, second month goes by no credit, THIRD MONTH GOES BY JO CREDIT. I finally contact this location and give them the run down, after being sent to the actual carrier the back to victra and explaining this situation at least a dozen times (and provided screenshots from my statements indicating a device was given for trade in) I get connected to the general manager Mark Speigel. This man does NOT give a crap, says he'll contact Irvine Spectrum security for security footage to see what happened. Surprise surprise it's been too long for them to have any footage and I'm fresh out of luck. I'm out over $1,000. I've left this shit company and you still can too. This is a well oiled theft machine. DO NOT GIVE YOUR TRADE IN TO THIS LOCATION. attached is the guy who handled my transaction, watch out for him!! Sadly if you deal with anyone else there they either don't know how things work or they're trying to get you to just buy whatever they're selling. I'm constantly told one thing and then later something different. Romanos is newer to this store and every time he helps me, the things he says are true. I'm able to resolve any issues. But I've had to come back a few times and if he's not there the other employees have made my phone purchasing experience a real headache. Also they're not heavily staffed during busy hours so be warned my whole phone trade in and setup took about 5 hours. Most of it was waiting for them to finish with another customer since they all help 2-4 groups of people at once. My husband and I were told many things that were not true (like you can't have 2 phone lines coming to the same phone - - - did you know that you can have a business and a personal line both on the same phone?) which meant that we bought a new phone when we didn't need to. He sold us perks and misrepresented what the perks would be. We had many problems with our account. I went into the Irvine Spectrum Verizon for help with all of this, where I met Jose! He is amazing and patient, explains everything clearly, doesn't forget details, methodical and is clearly very knowledgeable about how to navigate complex issues. He patiently spent the next 4.5 hours undoing all of these complicated problems that were created. He explained everything step by step. He was clearly experienced, lots of people skills.
