One star is too much! The worse customer service ever! I walked in on October 19, 2020 spoke with Miguel. I wanted to upgrade my iPhone 7plus to the new iPhone 12. Miguel helped me with which I THOUGHT was ordering the iPhone 12. We made an appointment for me to come in on Saturday October, 24th at 10:00am to pick it up and he even said to make sure I had my Apple Password in order to transfer contacts, photos etc to the new phone. I got there at 10:00am and low and behold NO phone was ordered PERIOD! I spent 40 minutes on the phone with Rebecca in customer service. Rebecca escalated the call to a supervisor, spoke to her for 15 minutes. Both reps were sympathetic to my horrible experience and will look into it further. I didn't get the iPhone 12. At this point I don't want it. Miguel needs further training in customer service! The supervisor advised that he should've PRE ORDERED the phone for me! He didn't, Miguel failed miserably in handling my upgrade! Miguel needs to get out of customer service and FAST! read more

Wish I saw these reviews before we decided to go to this location. Had a very poor experience switching over from AT&T to Verizon. 1.) We specifically told the employee we did NOT want the insurance for our new phones. He took insurance off for only ONE line but left it on the other line. I found out he snuck that on there when I was setting up my account online. 2.) I provided him with my AT&T account number and PIN. I wrote it on a paper for him so my number should have transferred over, but he did not even put in the correct info and Verizon gave me a call the NEXT DAY saying they couldn't transfer my line. I had to send that info to them and within a few seconds I got the text saying my number was active with Verizon. Good thing I still had my old phone on me so I was able to get texts/calls. 3.) There was a promo going on for opening a new account and we could get rebates for trading in our old phones. He wrote the info on a paper "verizon.com/digitalrebatecenter" - this link does not even exist. We could easily find the correct link by doing a Google search but this just looks really bad on the company giving out bad info to customers. I understand that everyone makes mistakes and I wouldn't have left a review, but he was just rude and very short with us so it just made my experience even worse. Bumping up one star because my husband went back to trade in my phone and he had a very pleasant experience with another employee (unfortunately he didn't get her name). I just left the store completely frustrated! I was at the store to upgrade my phone. I already knew what I wanted. I wanted the XS in gold. I was told they only had space gray and silver. I chose the silver. After about 30 minutes of waiting was told the phone did not work but if I bought it they would pick one up from another store and I could pick up after work. I said "that's fine" then the sales rep left to speak to her manager and came back to tell me that I would have to pick up the phone from another store because one of the managers was leaving and they could not pick up after all!!! Really you just wasted One Hour of my time!!! I was then told the phone could be shipped! But would take a few days. No thanks!! I wanted my phone today and was willing to take another color just so that I could walk out of the store with an upgrade! I have been coming to this store for years and everyone is always super helpful. If they don't have the answers they will call right there for you and find out. The only one complaint I have is for one of the managers. I don't recall her name but she is dark skinned and has a really bad attitude. I came in once to preorder my phone and from the get go she gave me attitude. I ended up leaving. But overall the rest of the staff is patient, understanding, helpful, and not pushy. If they can get a nice manager in thay store with its friendly staff they can earn my 5th star! Thanks for always helping out! read more

This place is horrible. No customer service. Once its your turn they want to rush you and charge you for things they have no explanation for. When you are explaining the problem you are having they wont make eye contact with you and they wont give you options to solve the problem if it doesn't make them money. Well organized with a check-in system administered by the greeter you meet when you first enter. They put you in a que and the next available rep helps you. It's a very efficient system. The problem is this location is exceedingly busy so despite the system its still a bit of a wait. My last two visits averaged 1 to 3 hours. The 3 hours was because we bought our phones and had trade-ins. Cool selection and the people are helpful. read more

We got our iphone7 plus and had them activated it. We also asked if they can transfer all the data from our old to new phones. Guess what? That rejected us not only once but twice. The first time Sergio told us that he recommend us to do it at home even if we told him we wanna them to do it for us. Then we walked out. We came back after 2 mins and asked robert to help us. He then tols us that their machine is broken. We pay you guys alot so at least help us transfer our pictures from our old to new phone. This is so disappointing. Plus you hear other employees laughing so loud in the back end and there are a few people waiting outside. For quite a while too. WATCH OUT!! They like to forge signatures here! Anything to get ur money. I trusted Verizon to take automatic payments from my account for over 10 years. After my experience w this location, I don't allow anything to come out automatically! I noticed a bill increase one day and checked it out. I looked into it to find out that they had been charging me insurance and data plans on phones i didn't even own. My fault for not noticing it earlier...anyway, I went in to get an explanation for the charges and the manager told me we had signed for those features on our last visit and they had my signatures in the back, therefore, he would not give me my money back for those charges. I called corporate because it just didn't make any sense to me. They let me know that those features were added by an employee and I had NEVER signed for such thing and to go back and ask for a copy of this "contract" as well as my full money for the 7 months they had charged me for. I went back and spoke to the manager once again. He agreed to give me half of the money...not good enough!! These were features I didn't approve of and added by one of his employees!! I ask for my copies of these mystery contracts...The manager goes to the back with the rest of the employees. 20 Min later, the manager comes out and says "here is where u signed..." Quickly flashes some papers, I take them quickly before he can take them back and notice that they are forged signatures!!! And he admits to tell me that he never even looked at my file!! U mean to tell me that an employee forged my signature???? The manager just looked down at the floor. "I can give u the money for the over charges...." This is ILLIGAL!! I called corporate and they advised me to write a letter explaining the situation. Watch out when u open lines w this location. Some shady stuff going on w the manager and the employees. read more

Appalling: I've been in this store recently to get my phone charged a few times, as I couldn't find my charger. Today I went in and the woman at the service counter told me they didn't have the charger for my phone, without turning around to the chargers in the drawer. I said that they did, so she spent literally ten seconds looking, and said they didn't. I said I'd been in just last week, and she said sometimes the chargers get thrown out. I asked for someone else, and guess what: that person found it. I then asked the girl at the door how to complain, and she wanted me to call Verizon customer support, like that would make any difference. I said, "So no matter what happens in the store, there's no one else to talk to?" She then identified the manager, who "would be free in a couple minutes." The manager then disappeared into the back and was gone so long I left. I wouldn't buy my phone at this place if it were $30 cheaper. read more

This store has possible the worst consumer service ever. I went to sign in for an International plan since I was going overseas on vacation. One employee took my iphone and went on the back of the store and came back 10 minutes later saying they couldn't help. I would have to call Verizon myself. I had some problems getting connection in Spain and just today I went back to the store and again an employee said they couldn't help me with it and to go home and call Verizon myself! What kind of service is that???? I think the store's manager needs to take a long look at how this store works. TRIES to sell me a iphone 5c at FULL RETAIL PRICE and said i can make payments monthly. hmm i only wanted an upgrade. cutting this story shorter, and excluding the detail of attitude i got i leave i call Verizon customer care & the representative was SO shocked. never has he ever heard of payin full retail price for the phone and making monthly payments in ur bill.. he gave me the same phone same plan of the new shared everything plan. and the phone only cost me $99. and even waived the upgrade fee. its still cheaper if i would pay $99 AND. a cancellation fee than paying full retail price in the store for an upgrade. problem solved. no wonder her attitude came out worse when i said ill call customer care to ask about proration charges. seriously this location is in La Habra, not east LA. lets keep it classy over here. the people who give this place 5 stars got fooled into thinking they got a deal just because they actually got a SMART sales person that keeps his customer service up. but at the end of the day, a shark is a SHARK. i would have been fooled too if sandra played it smart & didnt give attitude. that was my cue to run. im glad i did. thanks sandra your shitty service got me a GREAT deal by calling customer service! :) read more

I was told from one of the managers from this store that I could not receive the benefits from 1 year warranty. I went to another corporate store and found out that I could. I just can't understand why they felt the need to lie about their business policy I also felt threatened as the manager indirectly proposed that it was my fault that the phone is not working as it should be. This place has the WORST customer service EVER! Back in September/October, I wanted to upgrade my Mom's phone. They wanted over $100 for a BASIC smart phone. We ended up walking out and going to Best Buy. Got the SAME phone for $40. Today, I went to upgrade mine, and the same thing happened. Went to Radio Shack in the same center and got a phone and case for $44 out the door. Both times when I told them I was walking, they did not seem to care in the least. My wife and I showed up and were registered on an iPad and told three people were ahead of us. Not bad right? They seemed busy so we waited patiently.About 45min to an hour of waiting I asked when and if we were going to be helped. With an attitude we were told "they called you since you didn't answer they skipped you and deleted your info off the list". I looked at the greeter and told her we had been sitting in front of you the whole time as if she couldn't say hey your next. By the way our name was never shouted out or nothing, no calls on either my wife's or my cell. So we left and got great service at best buy. Worst service ever at Verizon in la habra. It's funny how quickly a 5 star review can change into a 1 star review. I finally made the decision to switch from AT&T to Verizon and on Saturday I bought the new iPhone with a case and screen protector. The switch and transaction went great, there were no issues there at all and I was very happy. Overall my initial experience was great. My issue came with the screen protector. When the sales associate (I think her name was Nicole but I am not positive) put on the screen protector she explicitly told me that all of the bubbles would go away in a day or two but if they didn't to come back in and they would fix it. There were 2 sizable bubbles on the edge but I trusted her that they would go away. When I got the phone home I also noticed she had installed the protector a little crooked as well. Not a huge deal but enough to where I noticed it when I looked at my phone. I didn't worry though because she said she would fix it. I went in today (5 days later) to have them fix the screen protector and they refused. They said that they do not guarantee craftsmanship and cannot guarantee that it's installed correctly. I also showed them the bubbles and they said there was nothing they could do. As a "way to fix the issue" they said they would give me another screen protector but would NOT install it. What the hell? You guys installed the first one, and incorrectly at that, and now you won't install the new one? Absolutely terrible customer service. They made me remove the improperly installed protector and just handed me another one and said I had to do it myself. Absolutely terrible customer service and the initial sales associate was misleading. If you think about it, I pay them $70 a month and I'm going to be paying them probably for the rest of my life yet they don't have the decency to replace a screen protector for me once when THEY installed it wrong? Ridiculous. I'll just go to Best Buy next time where they guarantee their screen protector installs. read more

Not only did he help get the phone started and set up for me, he helped me with explaining the restrictions features and was very knowledgeable about the phone I purchased. BUYER BEWARE!! I'm writing this on behalf of a close friend of mine. They were told HALF-TRUTHS and deceived by the staff here. First off they weren't told about the Activation Fees (3 X $40) for the 3 tablets that they were tricked into getting when they went in to buy a new phone. But the worst part is that the only reason they bought the 3 tablets was because the salesman told them that if they bought them that day, Verizon would knock off $30 (3 X $10) per month off their bill. They thought getting the tablets would ultimately lower their bill in the months to come, and the Salesman went along with this notion. So what they DIDN'T tell them was that Verizon would also charge them $30 (3 X $10) per month more. My coworker and his wife are in their 60s and this fast talking salesman took advantage of the fact that they aren't exactly tech savvy. IMO..HALF TRUTHS ARE JUST AS BAD AS LIES. This place is probably not even a REAL Verizon store, just like the one located in Walnut and Grand/Amar. My advice..have them give you a DETAILED and EXACT amount of what you will be paying the next month AND in the months to come. Where have all the honest sales people gone??? read more
