WARNING...Unless you are a new customer or willing to SPEND ALOT of money, don't bother. Long story short, shopping for a phone has become the equivalent to shopping for a car. The sad part is that they don't even need your business...and they know it. The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. They work on "commission" (even though they are a corporate office) and are rewarded for adding devices, selling accessories, or moving up plans. Upgrading devices isn't worth it for them, unless you are a good-looking young woman. These guys are unbelievable. While I was waiting I noticed several people overpay on accessories and be swindled into outrageous plans with the promise of "discounts." I guess ignorance is bliss. Bottom Line. I will be porting my numbers to AT&T (all carriers operate like Verizon Wireless). Not because they are better, but because they will treat me right as a new customer. When my two years are up with them, I might return to Verizon...so on and so forth. The era of customer loyalty and great service is over. Might as well play the game. read more

If I could give the customer service here a zero stars I would, I went in yesterday to buy a new case for my phone, the rep that "helped" me (forgot his name, he's a tall man with salt and pepper hair) could not get that iPad straight one, then When I questioned the price of the case, he said I was getting a deal cause the case is normally $80 (not true, it's $50 priced everywhere) I told him no, then I explained I get a discount through my employer, he said oh yeah it's 10% I said hmm no, it's 25% online, I showed him, he got a little snippy and said well maybe you should buy it online, I asked well I'm here can't you honor it, he said no, I thanked for his time and left. Today I get my updated bill, can you believe this moron still charged it to my account!!!!!! Luckily for me the customer service rep at Verizon was a lot more competent and cleared up the whole issue :) and flagged the store for their practice. These guys are CROOKS! Despite the reviews, I went here during the Mother's Day sale (first week of May) to get a new phone since mine took a dip in the pool. I had insurance so I was really going in to see how that works and how I go about getting my replacement. Casey (Sales Rep) made me a great deal (or so it seemed at the time) and PROMISED to get me $120 for my iphone even though it had water damage! He then proceeded to sell me various accessories for my new phone and it all seemed like a steal given the $120 credit for my water damaged phone. Since I had left my iphone in a bucket of rice at home, I went ahead with the purchase of the new iphone and accessories and we agreed that when I brought my water-damaged phone back in, that I'd get the $120 credit. The next day, I brought in the phone and Casey wasn't in and the other sales people looked shocked that Casey would make such a promise and suggested I talk to the manager. First, the manager (Justin F.) stayed in the back office and sent a sales rep back and forth with his "messages" which initially was "too bad so sad" and it wasn't until I threatened to have the store charged with theft, did he come out, after waiting over an hour, and then said he had to talk to Casey before I could get a credit. Next day, he talks to Casey who fessed up apparently, and asked me to come back in again and bring the damaged phone. Trip #3 I go in, give them the phone, a new manager (Eric Tubig) then processes an online rebate for the water damaged phone ($21.60) and notes my account that Justin was going to post an additional $98.40 credit to my account to total $120. A month later, I get my bill and no credit! I call and the customer service person says it will take another month to post. Another month later, my bill comes in and again, no credit. SHOCKER! I call back and the customer service person calls the store and speaks to yet another manager, Eddie who says I have to go back into the store to get the credit. Here we go again! Long story short, avoid this place unless you like to waste time, gas, money, and enjoying being lied to and robbed of your hard earned cash. Good Location..Bad Customer Service! I haven't been to this location in over a year. Wow..how time changes places. This location use to have good customer service but today's experience was the first in my Verizon experience were I thought should I change to AT&T? Here's what I experienced: I was helped by a young, black female (didnt get her name so using descriptive words) with long nails. I was there for a few things. I didnt see my IPad on my account and she tried looking for it as it purchase on the receipts but couldnt find it? What!. She told me that I should call CS (611) but I told her I couldnt get through. She told me "No, you can"..WTF! Really? She told me that they reached them in store but took 20 mins (yes, thats what I was talking about). I went home....ended up finding the receipt for the Ipad onlineon Verizon.com (amazing she couldnt find it) and it took me an hour to get a hold of CS which fixed the problem. I wasted a good 30 mins to drive to the store and talk to a rep which didnt really give a crap to try to resolve my problem. read more

Just got back from the verizon store today and had to write a review for Eric M. My brother and I are on Sprint and they have terrible coverage in La Habra. We are working out of an industrial warehouse and there is absolutely no signal, so we decided we needed a mobile hot spot. Our friend had an extra device he wasn't using and sold it to us (Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot MiFi™ 4510L) but it didn't have the sim card. Called this location and spoke with Eric and he said we could come in and get one, he wouldn't charge us. We also made sure we could do a month to month contract and he said that was fine. We thought that would be the case at any Verizon store so we went over to the Brea store and those shady guys tried to charge us $25 for the sim card + $35 activation fee. They said they'd waive the sim card fee but we had to sign up for a 2 year contract. Wow, we'll save a whole $25 if we sign 2 years away ?? Forget that nonsense. We headed to see Eric and he hooked us up!! We walked right in and he helped us. He was super courteous, professional, and all around a nice guy. He got everything set up for us in 15 minutes --- no extra sales pitches, no shady nonsense. Set up a new account, gave us a sim card + no activation fee. Wow. That's what I call 5 star service. I hope I'm not getting him in trouble or anything by saying what he did for us. It just seemed like he went above and beyond. There wasn't anything shady about this guy. My brother and I walked out and agreed that we were blown away that this was such a great experience. I don't know, when it comes to this kind of stuff I am really skeptical and cell phone salesman feel like car salesman, it seems like you can't go anywhere and get good service these days. But Eric really showed us that good and decent customer service still exists in this world. After today's experience with Eric, I will seriously consider switching over to verizon after our sprint contract is up (bummer, we just signed a 2 year a couple months ago!) Update: I ended up getting my DROID here despite my previous review below and their customer service was a bit better than their on phone experience would have you to believe. It was courteous and helpful but, a bit ignorant of the phone (which they were opening early to release). Additionally, there was a line that formed before opening and the store was filled with workers for 20 minutes before they opened the doors. We waited around and watched them chit-chat and drink coffee while we waited in the cold to get our phones. Despite opening early, the actual instore experience was a let-down. The sales people weren't interested in the product as much as selling accessories that actually didn't work together but, that's more Verizon and Motorola's fault than this individual store. I like my phone but, would have rather gotten the level of service of the Apple store or even Best Buy employees seem more interested and knowledgeable about the product than here. Original Review: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I was on the phone with them this afternoon, merely inquiring about the new Google Droid phone, if it'll be in stock, etc.. And I could tell the guy wanted to get me off the phone as soon as possible. DO NOT LET CASEY ASSIST YOU, ASK FOR SOMEONE ELSE. I'd like to start off by saying the manager(Chris) took care of this problem. It's time for another Casey Donahue review. This man makes used car salesmen look like saints. I don't know how he sleeps at night but the commission he makes by lying to customer probably helps. This will be his 7th negative review singling him out but he is still employed. I bought an iPhone XS Max last night, my previous model was a 6 plus so it's been a while. Casey "assisted" us with the purchase. He informed me and my father that the accessories were included, a screen protector, phone case and a car charger. Personally, I would never in a million years but phone accessories at a phone store because the mark-ups are absolutely insane. We asked him point blank, is this going to increase the cost and he replied "no, it's all included on the phone." I even asked him if I could not purchase a case because I already had found some online that I liked and if it would be cheaper (since it's "included") and he said no. I go to checkout, and I wanted to put down as much as possible, I was informed I could pay up to half and I could pay the rest off after the first billing cycle. This checked out as true (one of the only things). He then informed me "half" was $875. I was blown away, but I didn't do any digging right then and there as I should have. I wasn't provided or offered a receipt, something that I will now always ask for on purchases of this size. As I'm sure anyone that's reading this can assume, the accessories were not included at all, and what do you know, the mark-ups were in fact astronomical. I was livid, I lost sleep, I would've marched back into the store that night had they not been closed. Today me and my dad paid the store a follow up visit, based off of the yelp reviews I had guessed our rep was Casey, turns out I was right. I don't know how or why that man still has a job, maybe it's union, maybe he needs a 10th strike on yelp and this is 7/10 but he's sleazy, slimey and needs to be fired. This is a corporate store, I hope they read this and take action. Casey happened to be working an it took all of the self discipline in the world not to be very vocal about how I felt his service went. I settled for a "we're here to return the 'free' accessories, turns out they weren't free at all" he came back with "oh, really? I can help our with that" while another rep was already assisting us. Corporate, I hope you're reading this. Once again, Chris took care of the returns and helped diffuse the situation and maybe there's something preventing him from relieving Casey of his job. I purchased the Motorola Droid here in December of 2009. A miscommunication between the workers resulted in loosing all my contacts from my previous phone. I was giving my old phone (Dare) to my son and wanted a factory hard reset performed. My salesman handed the phone off to another worker to extract the numbers. She returned and handed him the phone and he performed the reset. When I asked where my phone numbers were, the other worker said, "You never asked me to get the numbers off the phone." Verizon is a great service. The hardware and accessories are the same you would find at any Verizon store. The problem at the La Habra branch is CUSTOMER SERVICE, which is the fault of poor management. Stop pimping accessories and take a minute to LISTEN to your customer's needs! Address those needs and take all the time necessary to satisfy them. To be fair, they did warn me the new iPhone 4 only works on the older 3G network and recommended the HTC Thunderbolt...which has been thoroughly fact checked by me and looks like a winner! They tell you anything you want to close the deal and couple months later you get an enormous bill that is nothing close to what was verbally sold. 2 months ago we got 3 new lines quoted $25 per line. Billed $45 eack. They promised us those (low end) phones were free phones but we got billed $105 each. Same day we got 2 kids watches. Quoted us $25 each for the watch themselves but got billed $107 each later!!!!!! This location is an absolute fraud. The salesman and manager are a bunch of crooks. So I called Verizon customer service (corporate) about the billing and even the support agent said that store's sales people will quote you anything to close the deal. They write the quote on a piece of paper and not an actual printed document. This store is notorious for that. Worse part is, you can't get out of the contract. We went to Verizon to get a new phone and make sure everything was backed up okay, the man working ( his name was silverio or something ) didn't even try to help us after we explained we had issues backing up, and basically sent us on our way. My wife and I had an awesome experience with this location. My wife dropped her much loved iPhone into water after having it for a long time and was unable to restore it. We came into Verizon and Anna and Tawny Rucker helped my wife find her a new iPhone and get her contacts, messages, apps, voicemails, etc back to her and helped us with our new contract. But that isn't why I give the five stars. It's how Anna and Tawny helped us. Anna was extremely kind and helpful, and was patient with my wife and I as we navigated through this contract and transition, and Tawny was both helpful and just a ton of lively energy, making it so enjoyable to be at Verizon and go through this even though it was late at night, they were closing, we were hungry, and all tired after a long day. When it came down to it, my wife and I were undecisive, so when we did decide finally on getting her an iPhone 6 (while Anna and Tawny waited and assisted us patiently!) it was too late to activate, because Verizon Services act on East Coast time I guess? Anyways, it was 10 PM here in CA and it was past midnight there. But we were helped first thing in the morning by the two of them and did not have to wait in line for assistance at all! Most people dread phone stores like they do a car dealership but I'm serious, Anna and Tawny are such a joy to be around and so good at their jobs that you almost want to have phone problems just so they can brighten your day by them making you laugh or engaging you in good conversation. One of the most unethical places I've been to. I need a new phone and they told me they could add a line and they'll cancel the other line. Sounds easy enough right? Well I get my bill and they've been charging me for the line the last 2 months. I figured Verizon will take care of it so I called them. Little did I know the line that was supposed to be cancelled was on a 1 yr promotion and I'll be charged an early termination fee even though I specifically asked him "will I be charged anything for cancelling the other line?" which he reassuringly tells me no it's simple we activate one and cancel the other. I came to the store after I ordered a phone online. I found the store to be clean orderly and recently remodeled and up-to-date. The staff was cordial friendly knowledgeable and efficient and their service to me. I don't know why the store get such low ratings on yelp. Perhaps people only rate their experiences when they want to vent the nose. As far as a cell phone buying experience goes I don't know how much better you can do. For what it is worth I have been to other corporate owned factory Verizon stores and have received and been treated poorly and more like a number and not a valued customer. I'm not a big fan of Verizon as a corporation so I have no dog in this fight as they say. I rank shopping for cell phones right up there with going to the DMV however the store made it bearable and somewhat enjoyable. This man calls himself the manager at this location and literally laughed in me and my mother's face when we went in there for a repair on a phone we purchased there! i am a manager on mine and my husbands account my moms phone that is on our account does not work unless it's plugged into the wall charger we were advised by Verizon customer service to go into the store and they would have to change out the phone since it is a faulty battery, he refused to help us, he talked over us when we were explaining why we were there. He kept saying your husband has to be here or i need to be authorized on the account however never checked to see if i was authorized he simply didn't want to help us. He kept saying "I have a husband too and if he came in and made changes to my account i would be upset" no buddy first off no changes are being made i pay for insurance there should be ZERO ISSUES. The funniest thing and what really threw me over the edge with anger was the fact that i just went by my self to this same location and purchased a Lenovo 5g laptop and a iPhone 11 plus that actually did make changes on the account but that was ok and clearly i was a authorized manager on the account to take my cash but when it's time to fix something AFTER YOU PAY FOR INSURANCE MONTHLY Its a no go He was so rude and just a tip no one cares about your sexual affiliation or whether you have a husband or a wife I'm not there to listen to the things you would or wouldn't like im there to repair a phone that i had the lawful right to do so... totally disappointed Verizon needs to really check into who they have running their corporate stores. read more

This place is the worst. Don't buy your cell phone from this Verizon dealer. Especially don't work with Robert, sales agent. I paid top dollar CASH ($1,345.00) for my Galaxy Note 8, a phone cover and a glass curved screen guard. When I accidentally dropped my phone and the screen guard cracked, I went back to this dealer to get it replaced. NO DEAL! Robert flat out lied to me and claimed he told me to register the screen guard. I checked my receipt, the Verizon bag in which everything I purchased was supposed to be in there and there was absolutely no screen guard package in the bag for me to supposedly "register" my screen guard. Verizon wouldn't do anything for me when I showed them all that I received upon my purchase and Robert continued to lie to my face. If you can, save yourself the stress and go to another location (although I can't guarantee it will be any better). As many people here have expressed, the people at this store are straight out dishonest and rude. Do they also have some snake oil in the closet? Because every time I or a family member has been here, each sales rep is the same with no desire to be cordial and with one goal- to sell. At least try to be cordial while you lie to my face. Issue: Wanted to upgrade two phones. Was told on 12/1/19 that we had $100 device promotions on the two lines we wanted to upgrade but if we wanted to wait for cyber Monday to check for deals, we could come back on 12/2/19 and the promotion would exist. Returned on 12/2/19 at 6pm and waited a while as expected for Cyber Monday. Sergio was our guy and from the start he was just ready to go home and didn't give two cents about anything (and that's fine we all have rough days). He goes on to tell us that there is no promotion. Then when questioned further about the promotion we were told about goes on to say that the promotion expired but we could get it online. So in front of him, I go on My Verizon app (I waited there for an hour so not leaving before it's done) and put the phone in the cart only to find that there is nothing I can click on online. He has the audacity to tell me, "yeah just buy it and the discount will appear on my billing statement". No Sergio, it won't. We see the lady who told us about the promotion and ask her to check our account. And behold, it exists. Guess Sergio is behind on quotas because he's charging full price everything plus many fees. He goes into the back room and pulls two associates aside including said lady.. guess they had a nice chat. He magically finds the promotion and begins to work on the bill. Charged the taxes and $40/line upgrade fee but was not willing to show me the monthly device payment. So I verbally confirm what the payment will be per month per phone and sign. MY MISTAKE! Who knew someone could lie right to your face at a Verizon store. Thought they had some type of consumer protection regulation but no. As I was reading the print out receipt on my way out the door, I see that the monthly payment is higher than the exact dollar amount including pennies he told me. I confront him and he says that it was an estimate and that's the actual price. Sure you can estimate but how can you estimate $xx.78? And estimate is usually round numbers in my experience. He refused to admit that he lied and kept insisting that he got me what we agreed upon. It blows my mind how someone from a big corporate store can just lie, be rude the entire time, and refuse to even apologize. The guy who took my name for the waitlist came over and tried to intervene. He also had no sign of remorse or apologizing and went on to say I can return the phones and lose the discount if I'd like. Yes, helpful. There were apparently THREE managers in this store of FOUR employees that night and I guess none of them cared. Update: Was able to get my promised payment by calling Verizon customer service. At least they were nice. Guess I'll have to wait and make sure the correct payment gets applied on my bill. read more

Went into Verizon to upgrade my husbands phone, decided to upgrade mine as well. He went from a droid turbo to a edge 7, and me from a iPhone 6 to a iPhone 7. We got new cases and tempered glass for our phones, Nicole (who is an excellent employee) helped us as soon as we got it helping us narrow down the type of phones we wanted down to the color and storage space. She upgraded our plan and hooked us up with a great promotion and a tablet for my daughter and we are still paying less than what we were before and we have more than before!!!...by far one of the best experiences I have had at a Verizon store location. This place sucks. They sold me a deal that said it came with a free case screen protector and car charger and asked for 200 down. I got the phone two days later and I got charged for everything and the bill didn't reflect the 200 down. They told me that there was a glitch and I was pretty much screwed so when I tried to return everything they tried to charge me a 35 restocking fee even though it was there mistake. So I kept the phone. I'm in here and I asked how long it would take to have the guy who sold me the phone to have him help me set up the phone and they said 3-5 mins...... that was 45 mins ago this place sucks read more

I've come in to the La Habra store twice in the last 6 months and was fortunate enough to be helped by Noah during both visits. Our experience with him was fantastic both times! His customer service and attention to our needs exceeded our expectations. My husband and I are not that tech savvy and we had a lot of questions, for which Noah answered each one very patiently regardless how simple they were probably to him. Seeing that we had a lot of questions, he also offered suggestions about things we didn't ask about. Noah is extremely knowledgeable and very customer focused. He gave us as much time as we needed. We didn't feel rushed nor pressured. When we come back to upgrade or add on to our plan, we will only do so with Noah. You should ask for him too!! read more

I went in to switch my service and get new phones. When I asked about the phones the rep showed me the models that were available. There were no tags that identified the phones nor any of the features of the phones. Whenever I asked a question about the phones, the rep just said all the information is on the Verizon website. Had a phone ordered on 12/22/2002 and already paid for online. The manager named Tino claimed that if an ordered phone is not picked up in 2-3 days, can be sold by the store, and that has been the policy for 6 years. Upon looking at the receipt, it states that the time frame to pick up the phone is 4 days. Upon spending countless hours attempting to remedy the situation on the phone with Verizon representatives, I finally had to go through management to reorder the phone. That manager fortunately is going to correct that store manager into letting him, 'Tino' know that he cannot get rid of a pre ordered/paid phone until he attempts to call after the fourth day. I walk into this Verizon Corporate store and let me say... WATCH OUT for ROBERT the uncaring aggressive sales guy. I tell him I'm interested in Iphone 7 plus and he tells me it's going to be $199 out the door then he proceeds to check my plan to change my plan. Whoa this is a bit overwhelming. He checks my plan telling me I don't have insurance on my phone and in fact I do it's just with another carrier not Verizon. I'm upset cause he never said it could be a possibility I do have insurance. He kept scrolling his iPad insisting I don't. If I didn't know any better I would have purchased insurance with him and have 2 insurances. I'm not into wasting my money. Then I proceed to tell him I already spoke to Verizon on the phone earlier in the morning and quoted me $97 and advised him to check the notes in my account. He says oh yes its will be $97 after insisting for several minutes $199 was a great deal for the phone And asking what color do I want at the "great price" of $199 by this time I'm frustrated due to his aggressive sales tactics not for one minute caring about the customer ONLY his sales. I gave him a piece of my mind and stormed out. I went to SAMS CLUB and paid $77 total for my upgrade and the confirmed I do have Ins on my phone. Do your homework before upgrading it can save you a lot of money! They need to train their employees. My father passed away and I was told by corporate they would take his phone back. When we took it into the verizon store to return it they told me they saw the notes on the account but would not take it back. Refused to call corporate. I finally had to call corporate and had to have corporate call the store directly and only then did they take the phone back and cancel the account. The idiot female manager did not want to comply with corporate and made a hard situation (the death of my dad) even harder. My mom shouldn't have had to go through that. This store needs corporate to go in and re train the managers. This manager should be fired! Shame on you! read more

Careful! This store HAD helped in the past but now have caused problems. Make sure to read ALL promos. They had "helped" me with an "upgrade" for one of my lines. But did not tell me I was NOT qualified for and that it was for only NEW lines and not upgrades. No one bothered to explain, WHILE I WAS IN STORE, the details, just trying to ring everything up and out the door I went with the phone. Dragging it out months with customer services calls. Saying "oh yes I see you do but we will send in a claim and have someone call you back." NO ONE CALLED. So now they have all new managers and can't help. So now I have to pay full price and paying crap ton. Thanks LA Habra Verizon. Will not be coming in anymore. And not extending my contracts because of you. read more

One star is too much! The worse customer service ever! I walked in on October 19, 2020 spoke with Miguel. I wanted to upgrade my iPhone 7plus to the new iPhone 12. Miguel helped me with which I THOUGHT was ordering the iPhone 12. We made an appointment for me to come in on Saturday October, 24th at 10:00am to pick it up and he even said to make sure I had my Apple Password in order to transfer contacts, photos etc to the new phone. I got there at 10:00am and low and behold NO phone was ordered PERIOD! I spent 40 minutes on the phone with Rebecca in customer service. Rebecca escalated the call to a supervisor, spoke to her for 15 minutes. Both reps were sympathetic to my horrible experience and will look into it further. I didn't get the iPhone 12. At this point I don't want it. Miguel needs further training in customer service! The supervisor advised that he should've PRE ORDERED the phone for me! He didn't, Miguel failed miserably in handling my upgrade! Miguel needs to get out of customer service and FAST! read more

Wish I saw these reviews before we decided to go to this location. Had a very poor experience switching over from AT&T to Verizon. 1.) We specifically told the employee we did NOT want the insurance for our new phones. He took insurance off for only ONE line but left it on the other line. I found out he snuck that on there when I was setting up my account online. 2.) I provided him with my AT&T account number and PIN. I wrote it on a paper for him so my number should have transferred over, but he did not even put in the correct info and Verizon gave me a call the NEXT DAY saying they couldn't transfer my line. I had to send that info to them and within a few seconds I got the text saying my number was active with Verizon. Good thing I still had my old phone on me so I was able to get texts/calls. 3.) There was a promo going on for opening a new account and we could get rebates for trading in our old phones. He wrote the info on a paper "verizon.com/digitalrebatecenter" - this link does not even exist. We could easily find the correct link by doing a Google search but this just looks really bad on the company giving out bad info to customers. I understand that everyone makes mistakes and I wouldn't have left a review, but he was just rude and very short with us so it just made my experience even worse. Bumping up one star because my husband went back to trade in my phone and he had a very pleasant experience with another employee (unfortunately he didn't get her name). She was very helpful and gave us the correct info we needed to get the rebate. read more

I just left the store completely frustrated! I was at the store to upgrade my phone. I already knew what I wanted. I wanted the XS in gold. I was told they only had space gray and silver. I chose the silver. After about 30 minutes of waiting was told the phone did not work but if I bought it they would pick one up from another store and I could pick up after work. I said "that's fine" then the sales rep left to speak to her manager and came back to tell me that I would have to pick up the phone from another store because one of the managers was leaving and they could not pick up after all!!! Really you just wasted One Hour of my time!!! I was then told the phone could be shipped! But would take a few days. No thanks!! I wanted my phone today and was willing to take another color just so that I could walk out of the store with an upgrade! I have read the many bad reviews but I am the kind of person who doesn't believe until I see it for myself! I definitely believe them now! Bad service Verizon! read more
