If I could leave 0 stars I would, DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. The girl Mirel is horrible, she does not know anything. She tries to sell us extra accessories that were not needed. They are so unorganized and lack communication. We were quoted 120$/ mo to combine our phone plan and it turns out the bill is actually 230$ there were all these extra fees and hidden charges that were of course not explained even after confirming that the total would be 120$/month! On top of 300$ to just leave the store! These people are a rip off! Is this a phone store or did we enter a car dealership lot and get blindsided?!? Don't go here! The sales reps need to be trained better at this store. Or they might be lying on purpose to make more sales. My phone died and I went in just to replace my phone. Spoke with Chris. He convinced me to switch plans and said that it would include any travel out of the country. I told him I was specifically going to Europe. He said it was included. He also sold me a galaxy watch. I specifically told him that I want to keep the Fitbit ap and he said that it will still work. It did NOT. Now I had to go in and return it. I had to pay a $50 restocking fee. I went back into the store and spoke with another rep, Mariel. She help me switch to a tablet, but said it wasn't in stock and to come back 2 days later. I came back, and found out that it was sent to Cypress. Had to wait another 3 days for it. Finally, when I went to Europe, Verizon was charging me roaming fees! I called them up and they said my plan did NOT include out-of country data, and they said the charges stand because I didn't sign up for the right plan. Isn't that what the sales rep is for? I asked them for the manager's contact information but they wouldn't give it to me. So now I have to put the whole store on blast on Yelp. Do yourself a big favor and go to another store. They aren't trained properly. read more

Called this Verizon retailer spoke to Carlos... Pretty condescending.. I called asking why the promotions he was telling me about were different than the ones online... He said he didn't know what I was talking about and basically lost a sale. As someone who has worked PR and sales he did nothing to gain my business. I'm giving this retailer 5 Stars only because of their employee Cristian B. We have a relative that was unable to make a prepay payment on his Verizon phone so we walked into the 2nd Street store. There were two employees, no other customers- I explained our situation and the other employee gave a list of reasons why they couldn't help us. He literally walked away from us. Cristian went to his computer and immediately found a solution. He was so helpful and understanding. We were able to get the phone activated and left very happy customers. Just had a truly amazing experience at this location with Mohammed. I came in and bought an iPhone X and had my wife's phone transferred to my old phone. Mohammed quickly and very skillfully accomplished this task and he also reviewed my account to make sure I was getting the best price for my plan! Ran in really quickly to grab an Apple Watch Series 7. Everyone was friendly and positive. They didn't have anymore watches so they ordered one for me and told me they would call me when it came in. I got a notification on my phone that the watch came in Wed - Thursday atoll no call so I decided to pop in and yup it came in but no call to let me know. All in all I got what I needed. I had an appointment to transfer my phone information from to the other. I made eye contact with Jason and let him know I had an appointment to which he replied "okay". The rest of the interaction was as simple, benign and unhelpful as that initial introduction. I needed help and he he was, seemingly, irritated to be the one to have to help. The little information he provided was done so with more attitude than I expect at a store that's meant to help people with issues just like mine. I left and went to a different location. Would not recommend going there. Terrible customer service. Two guys with mullets were working with other customers, which is totally fine. But the complete disregard for a new customer coming in and not even saying "hello" or "we will be right with you", is frustrating. I usually hate going to Verizon stores bc they're so busy and unorganized sometimes but I was pleasantly surprised walking in to this one and getting greeted immediately! My parents both had phone issues and it got addressed within a few minutes. Freddie the manager was so great. My parents don't speak much English usually I have to translate but he communicated so well w them I didn't even have to do anything. He also made them feel so comfortable and laugh with his nice, warm personality. He was super patient w them and helped them with fixing their phone and then setting up a new phone for my mom. It's not everyday you get a great manager that is patient, nice, helpful, smart and experienced. Based on decades of experience with Verizon, I never thought that I would be writing a review of a favorable experience at a Verizon store. But I am... I had the most wonderful experience at this store this morning with Sal. He knew exactly what the problem was with my phone and he was able to fix it as I waited. I admit that the problem was simple. So simple that I'm embarrassed about not figuring it out on my own. But Sal was super kind and helped me understand how to diagnose/fixit myself in the future. I was welcomed here and treated like a human, not just an account. I'm still in shock and can't believe how wonderful my experience was at this store. This store is now my go-to store. I live much closer to another Verizon store but in the future I will drive farther in order to come to this store. I still can't believe how great my experience was with Sal at this store. read more

After switching 5 lines over and being told there would be no activation fees, Verizon went on to charge me activation fees on all five lines. The sales rep at this shop told me to come back if I was charged and they would fix it. Needless to say after multiple phone calls, in person visits and texts they didn't fix it and I ended up with hundreds of dollars in activation fees. Used to have excellent service. Been a customer here since they first opened. Walked in today to ask a question. Sales person finished with his customer as I was standing there and walked to the back. He could see me standing there as he talked to another gentleman. At one point, that gentleman stepped out of the back room, looked right at me and stepped back into the back room and carried on his conversation with the sales person. Never again will I give them any business. They obviously don't need it if they can ignore customers standing right in front of them. The other two sales people were busy with customers, yet they didn't even bother to acknowledge me. Must be new management. This would never have happened in the past. read more

No stars due to extraordinarily bad customer service. I purchased a phone from this store (note they are not a company store) about three weeks ago. About a week ago I was having trouble connecting to the internet, voicemails were not showing etc. I worked with Verizon support for about 4 days. Their end conclusion was I needed a new SIM card or a new phone. They asked that I go back to the store. I made an appointment with the manager and went into the store. He ran tests and his end conclusion was that the phone was malfunctioning and that I need a new phone..now get this. He wants me go to the Apple store and get a new phone from Apple. What? I explained to him that I bought this phone from you and I paid you 900.00 for it. I would prefer to get the new phone from you. He says you are out of the 14 day window and at best he can give me a refurbished phone. Wow! I have been a Verizon customer for over 30 years. I have stayed with them because I thought they were the best. It is more important to me have the customer service than to pay less. In 30 years I have never asked for any accommodation. I am checking into AT&T and T mobile now. I cannot see continuing this relationship. I am going to say this store will take your money but they are not going to help you when you need it. Go to the store on Bellflower you will be better off. read more

VERIZON is definitely the best coverage to get and this store is the best place to get it. Every time I've gone in here since I first opened up my account and switched back from a competing carrier, I have had a great experience. There's always plenty of people that are ready to help and work quickly. They are smart and friendly and a fun group. I had and insurance claim recently and needed to transfer over my information to a new phone. Adrian took care of me and was extremely helpful to get everything switched over perfectly. Can't say enough good stuff about these people in the store. read more

Took time with husband to craft workaround at remote location and cleared email box, received link to reset. Took lots of time. Very grateful. Previous bad experiences with this store led to Apple & Verizon company stores out of area. Very Happy will shop there now. Sal should be allowed to conduct classes for a fee as beta test for store to conduct educational classes for cellphone users needing help as technology changes. Just got my new iPhone today and Sal was a hugeeee help! He answered all the questions I have very polite and patiently! He put a lot of time to helped me out with the phone back up and stalling and explaining stuff. He's also very friendly. We have a little nice chat while waiting for my phone to back up.
